Sethrian was standing there yapping away but Veith was standing closer to Kamil so while Sethrian continued the argument, Veith did not have the liberty to hear it. Mainly because...

"Oof!" Veith cried out as he tried to catch the ball and failed miserably when it knocked him off his feet.

Overpowered magical abilities equals a fail in strength. "I doubt he does." Veith huffed as he sat up from the floor and got up. "What you're attempting to play, Kamil... is dodgeball and you don't want to do that... with basketballs."

"Well it isn't as if you can't play dodge ball with basketballs," Sethrian said, raising an eyebrow at Veith. He tossed his ball in the air idly. "Perhaps we should give Kamil a demonstration, since he's unfamiliar with surface games."

"That aside, however, Kamil is correct. If you stay in this group you may find what you are looking for. Or...things you were unaware you even needed. This bickering is pointless but, I will acknowledge that spending time with friends, is not. And if someone who genuinely cares for you is bold enough to offer friendship, it is foolishness to reject that offer."

"Then I am a fool." Veith huffed. "Because I never asked for friends." Veith glanced at Kamil. What was that intangible thing anyways? Friends? They're just people to pass time. Why did the merman bother anyways. Wouldn't he have to return to the ocean in the future? Why bother make friends with people he was never going to see again.

Timothy came into the gym. Veith glanced over at him and he seemed confused with what they were doing. Oh good. A distraction. "These guys want to play dodgeball with basketballs. You think you're up for it." Veith said.

Well, if worse comes to worst, Veith would have to put up a barrier if a basketball that looked like it would kill him comes flying at him.

((This is an example of how you use distrustful of people as a flaw. 8D Not that the other people who put down distrust as a flaw will read this. ))

"We are watching a fool parade himself about as if those around him should take his words as anything other than the words of a fool," Sethrian told Timothy. Well, it wasn't as if he blamed Veith. But at least the next time they got into an argument, Sethrian could point out Veith himself admitted that he's a fool. It made for good ammunition with which to shut him up.

Still if he were Kamil...what would Kamil say? Something like 'Geewilkers, Veith, it's a good thing I didn't need you to ask me before I became your friend!' He mulled this over.

Yeah, no. He wasn't saying that. Ever. "And we are teaching Kamil the intricacies of basketball."

"I have never expected anything amazing of you in the first place," Sethrian retorted. Truth be told, he knew the game. And had played it as a child, but it had been a long time, and he did not really have much motivation to run around a court and throw a ball around. Team sports were not...his thing. Aside from Kamil, who he was sort of resigned to being friends with, and Kasie and Renivere...and possibly Ayu, Sethrian didn't much like anyone else at this school.

The idea of playing a friendly game of anything with any of them was not something he was particularly keen on. Especially Veith. He would much rather slam dunk him into one of the baskets (and he was nearly small enough) than teach him how to do it. He sighed. Well...it was better than Kamil trying to get them to wear ballgowns...


((Kamil should lock Sethrian and Veith in a room until they get along. emotion_awesome I......think they would starve first. Anyway, I will just wait on the skip or someone else to post now. =w= There are only so many insults to post...LoL))

Timothy looked at Kamil, then erratically pinpoint him! "You don't know how to play basketball?" Talking about manly! His eyes laid on Veith who's receiving the poor consequence.

"The poor victim." He snapped. Timothy just wave his hand like doing a 'so-and-so' gesture. "Continue what you're trying to do. If you need someone to bring an injured person, then I'll be willing enough to bring you to the infirmary."

Kasie barged into the gymnasium after Ayu how did she end up getting there before she did? Wow and apparently came across a rather... vicious game of basketball? There seemed to be a lot of tension, but at least she could cross one thing off the search list? "You... okay there, Ayu? That was quite a fall you had there." She frowned, hovering insistently over the clumsy girl.

"Anywaaaa~y, have any of you guys seen a book? Terra dropped it or something when she came by? Also, what are you all even doing in the first place? You guys have a basketball, but you're not even using it. That doesn't make any sense!"

Timothy's one brow rose. Member? when did I join their club?? Trying to recall if He ever registered his name into that stupid list. "What are you talking about? I'm not a 'manliness club' member. I just came here to have a warm up."

He was about to add another comment, when Timothy heard a high-pitched shriek. A familiar one that is! As He turned himself to see the source; true enough it's the pretty Ayu. Stammered, Timothy starts to freeze.

Seeing her running across the gym like a delicate princess waving a large bouquet of flowers. Timothy saw her as a bride running down the aisle to meet him and together they will face the altar and---- He snapped out from his wild daydream when Ayu slipped and slam against the slippery floor.

*Facepalm* What a clumsy girl!
