Silveril Volce ________________________Silveril had been carefully observing everyone when he was startled by a loud scream for... sausages? Silveril glanced towards the noise and saw a person who he forgot was even in the room. She had been quieter than him... until now.
And she stayed on the ground. Silveril wasn't sure if she liked to be in that position or if she just couldn't move at the moment. He wasn't sure if he should help her up or not.
It wasn't rare for tension to appear between species. Silveril was used to it, but he's never cared about what a creature's species was. He was more interested in their abilities and culture.
"It's only normal for there to be some bickering, Headmistress. It's just a part of life. There is little we could do of it." Silveril said.
________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ Severin Novaire ________________________So Professor Zhori finally woke up. Severin had forgotten about her since he was too busy being upset about the different species in the room along with the presence of Suzanne and Annalie. Well, he couldn't just leave her on the ground. He wanted to, but that wasn't supposed to be the character he was trying to create at the moment. "Are you alright, Professor Zhori?" Severin asked, "Do you need help getting up?"
"We happened to be discussing about free periods. Those are periods where you won't have a class and you can use that time for a chance to grade papers if you wanted to. The headmistress just wanted to know if you wanted to request a particular period or two." ________________________

Zhori "Pfft. Like I'll be grading paperrrrrr......I mean, um, of course. Yes. Ah, I don't really have a preference," Zhori said, smiling brightly. She offered a hand to Severin so he could help pull her to her feet. "Why Severin, you're such a gentleman," she teased. Hmm. Perhaps she should pretend she twisted her ankle just to see if she could get him to carry her back to her room. Heh.
Grinning at Suzanne as she waited for Severin's help, Zhori said, "At least I'm not the only one. Though I do think I was the only one who actually fell asleep..."
She placed all blame on the blasted singing penguins.

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
"Well, I apologize, Professor Fyre. I don't mean to hold it against you. Fire and I simply don't mix." Annalie made sure to say even if she never vocally mentioned her dislike toward heat. Everyone was supposed to remain on good terms right? Then again, Annalie's carefree style was suddenly disrupted when a loud shout cut through her thoughts, and she immediately glanced over to see a fire elemental. Her luck wasn't exactly happy with her, but it wasn't like they were going to dry the water out in the pool right? Of course not. At least she hoped so
"You can easily master this skill. The trick is to set up traps that animals will be lured into." Annalie gave the jubilant demon a small smile before turning her attention to the young girl that had came through. Interesting. She never knew that children could teach as well. "Oh, we're merely discussing about when we want our free period to be, and don't worry. I believe your tardiness means nothing just as long as you showed up to begin with."
Hope whispers, ‘Try it one more time.’” - Anonymous

Mafuyu Katsuragi Mafuyu sighed with relief. The tension was gone now. And fortunately the stiff Professor Novaire was able to look past the species issue and help up Professor Zhori.
It could have been Zhori's comedic fall that could have lightened the atmosphere or perhaps it was the appearance of the child teacher that baffled others. Maybe the tension dissolved because of the occurance of both.
"Yes, I had intended to discuss the free period, but I also wanted to strengthen the bonds between all of us teachers. You see, it is possible that students will pick fights with each other because of their species. We teachers have to serve as role models and get along so the students can realize that bickering is useless." Mafuyu said crossing her arms and nodding her head as she recited the words that her parents always told their new staff members all the time.
"For generations, this school has always been a place where everyone is welcome. So the meeting is actually for all of you to resolve your differences and see each other eye to eye or at least meet each other halfway."

Silveril Volce ________________________What was the headmistress blabbering about? See eye to eye? Meet halfway? Silveril wasn't interested. He was hired to teach students-- not perform in a perfect world type of play for them. It was obvious that some of the teachers were uncomfortable with each other here.
Silveril himself didn't want to see eye to eye with Professor Malevolyte. He didn't even want to try to be a friend to her. He was certain that Professor Novaire wasn't interested in befriending many of the people in this room too. His smile hasn't changed since he first introduced himself. It was like he stuck on a mask. "The students will probably realize that this is all a fraud, so it's better not to pretend. Even if it wasn't an issue of race, there are just personalities in this room that simply just clash." Silveril explained to the headmistress. ________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ Severin Novaire ________________________Severin was somewhat annoyed. He felt like Zhori was teasing him with her reaction when he tried to help her up.
Silveril was busy trying to help Zhori up from the ground. He wasn't the strongest guy so he had to grasp her arm with two hands and pull her up with all his strength. "Of course, you're the music teacher after all. There really isn't a need to be grading. It slipped my mind for a bit."
Although Severin wasn't fond of vampires, he had to agree with this Professor Volce. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders about this topic. It was impossible for everyone to just get along. The headmistress was living in some kind of fairy tale land."Although I understand what you're trying to say, Headmistress, I also agree with Silveril. It is better to be sincere rather than put up an act before the students." Severin said, not wanting to have to try to get along with these creatures around him. ________________________

Sorry for my raised temper, ill try and keep the flames to a minimum. I really do hope that i can better know all of you. Anyway, as it seems i have no room in which to teach. One preferably with a large cauldron and some boards in which i can write would be sufficient.

Zhori As he helped her stand, Zhori clung to Severin, favoring her right leg. "Oh...I think I've hurt my leg," she told him. "I may need to be carried back to my room!"
She paused and looked back at the others, trying to work out just what they were discussing. "I agree with Silveril, was it? I think anyway. Part of why we're here is to help students learn to resolve their differences peacefully. The best way to do it is to teach by example--if they see the staff resolving differences, it's going to teach them more than a farce of getting along."
She grinned. "But I don't think it'll be a problem. I mean, I thought Severin hated me and now look at him being all gallant and helping me up." She gave the man a peck on the cheek. "Just goes to show..."
She wondered if she should let everyone know how much she approved of the array of eye candy in the room. So many good looking men. She loved being a teacher! ((that's not the point of being a teacher, Zhori. =w= ))

Severin Novaire ________________________What was wrong with this woman!? Why did he have to bother to help this woman up? He should have left her on the ground. Now she was complaining about her leg and how she wanted to be carried to her room. Severin was probably the most weakest man in this entire room. Why couldn't she ask the vampire? Or the creature with wings that claims to be human? But why did she have to ask the sorcerer who's only exercise was flipping pages of a magical book or drawing magic circles on the dirt?
Women and their flirtatious ways... it disgusted him. In fact, Severin couldn't help but twitch when she pecked his cheek-- but he sucked it up and did his best to be as polite as he could.
"Well, I don't have the strength to carry you to your room, Professor Zhori. I can help you to a couch and we can decide what to do from there." Severin said unable to manage a friendly smile.
He helped Zhori to the couch next and set her next to Suzanne. ________________________ __________________________________________________________________________ Silveril Volce ________________________There was an example of clashing personalities. Of course Professor Novaire was certainly skilled at masking his annoyance, perhaps the ones most observant were able to notice the brief flash of annoyance in his eyes.
Silveril found this quite an interesting scene. Professor Zhori seemed well aware of Professor Novaire's irritation. She must be seeing how far she could take this. But Silveril pitied him, and nothing was worse than being stuck with a person who clashed with your personality--which Silveril learned after meeting Suzanne. So he decided to aid him. "It's best to quit the teasing for now or we'll be short of an English teacher in this school. A fall from a chair doesn't seem likely to render you unable to walk."

Grace Noble and Tempura
Grace just sat there quietly, petting Tempura's head as she listened to all of the heated and tense talk that was going on. The air in the room was quite tense actually, she wanted to say something but she didn't. Tempura merely yawned and laid back down with his head in his large black paws.

Zhori "Don't underestimate me! I am a lady--all fragile and such like!" Zhori said. "We get hurt easily from things like falling out of chairs. Just like porcelain! I am tired of being treated like I'm indestructible just because I'm made of fire. Is it too much to ask that someone try to take care of me just a little?"
She sobbed fake tears onto Severin's chest. "It's so unfair. I was just trying to bring a little warmth and passion to someone. Look at this face! It never changes its expression. It wouldn't know passion if passion jumped up and kissed it." She paused. "And considering it just did, I would know!"
She looked around at the other teachers, hoping for support to her melodramatic diatribe, but no one seemed to be biting. She huffed a sigh of defeat. "Oh fine. This is why, centuries after it was first noted, my people still throw the best parties. No one else knows how to have any fun!" She released Severin and bowed slightly. "My dear Professor Novaire. Thank you ever so much for helping me off the floor." She gave him a slightly mischievous grin as she reached up to lightly flick the end of his nose. "One day I do hope to see what an actual, genuine smile looks like on your face, you know." She spun around, shooting a special glare at Silveril. "That goes for the rest of you too. Honestly! you're like a lot of cranky old men who forgot their prune juice! Lighten up."

*.~*¨¯¨*•~.Vivian Sinclair.~•*¨¯¨*~.* That teacher was very lively. What was her name? Zhori? She had a point. A lot of the people in the room were either emotionless or just simply cranky. Vivian was one of them.
She used to get happy over very simple things, but those simple things showed up year after year and she just got bored. Vivian wouldn't complain if there was a reason to be happy again, but there was no point in trying to force herself. Vivian refused to smile if she had no reason to do so.
"Hopefully we'll start to lighten up. I personally don't take any notice to what species anyone is. To stress out over something that can't be helped due to nature is ridiculous. Well, let's all try to work together and see what happens. Many of you have the ability to smile. Don't waste it." Vivian poked a finger at Silveril, her eyes flashing at him.
"You too. You're also an immortal. Remember the feeling of happiness and cling to it so you never forget." Vivan crossed her arms. "Zhori is definitely right. Young people should just grab their prune juice and drink it because wasting food is a terrible thing to do!" Yes and at that time, Vivian realized she was hungry. _________________________________________________________________________ Suzanne laughed. Old men that lost their prune juice! Well the men in these room certainly didn't know what a party was even if it hit them. She slid into the shadows and appeared beside Severin and yanked at his arm. "That's right. Girls are pretty perceptive when it comes to being deceived you know." Truth be told, Suzanne didn't realize that his smile wasn't genuine until Zhori pointed it out. But no one really needed to know that.
"Really, life is all about fun. If you want to smile, then just do it. And if you can't, then throw a bunch of bugs at the person right next to you and laugh at them. I was speaking figuratively, but you can take it literally too. If you're all glum and sour about a terrible past, well-- Sorry to hand it to you, but the past is the past and you've got to move on. Right, right. Zhori, it's nice to meet you! I think we'll probably get along fairly well in this school!"

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
Raising a brow at all the comments that were being flung back and forth, Annalie was more amused with blending into the background and watching these exchanges. It wasn't like she had much to add to these rather colorful assortment of people. Plus, she was beginning to get a little lost with how this conversation was heading. Wasn't the main point of them gathering here was to discuss free periods? Oh well, she might as well join in to keep up.
"I'm sorry for crashing the party, but it's a pleasure to meet you, Zhori, as well as you, Professor Sinclair. Though, Zhori, I must warn you. Suzanne can go a bit overboard in antics, so you might be send flying into people, but other than that, you will have the time of your life scheming with her."

Briar was not late. Not. Late. One. Bit. His lack of tardiness would explain why he was struggling to discreetly sneak into the Teacher's Lounge. After all, he totally heard about the staff meeting and certainly didn't forget when it was taking place. Yup. All he had to do now was pretend that he was there from the start because a tiny pink ball wasn't noticeable at all.
"Haha! Yeah, everyone should smile because it's better to have your face stuck as a smile than a frown right?" Briar randomly injected into the conversation, casually or at least trying to look casual resting himself near the lamps. He made a note to himself to steal that later on. He was probably way off in what he said, but it was the best thing to respond to what he last heard.
As he craned his neck trying to look up at everyone, Briar couldn't help a low whistle to those he caught sight of. "D*mn, you ladies sure are pretty..."
