The murkrow laughed and ruffled up his feathers. "(Mostly we use a lot of body language. Its a bit bothersome, but Gepardo is a good guesser...)" Velasco chirped softly. "(Don't worry, its a learning process being caught off the wild.)"
Gepardo chuckled softly. "I guess I need to go to the market to pick up some food items to make Electric pokemon food."

Manticore became very excited at the mention of food. She nodded enthusiastically before scrambling right up Gepardo's arm as if it were a tree branch. She perched on his shoulder, snuggling against his cheek, and wrapped her tail securely around his neck. The man felt like a warm tree and, she found, made a very comfortable perch. She would be able to keep her grip easily even if he decided to start walking. Also, while she was on his shoulder, he would have a harder time grabbing her if he decided to do something horrible after all-- which she was convinced that he wouldn't. Finally, there really was a good view from there, and she'd be able to see danger coming a long way off.
"Risu!" she squeaked happily.

Gepardo seemed happy to have this little display of affection from his newly acquire pokemon. He scratched behind her ears and kiss her side gently before he called the sableye back into his pokeball and let Velasco come sit on his other shoulder. "We are getting a little crowded, aren't we?" He laughed and open the doors, leaving to take them Manticore's great adventure in the open market alley.

Manticore dug her claws into Gepardo's shoulder as he stood up, but she quickly got used to the gentle rocking motion as he walked, and relaxed again. Wasn't this the best way to travel? By moving tree? Predators would have a hard time catching her up here!
Her eyes widened in fascination as the doors slid open and Manticore saw city life for the first time. There were so many things! So many lights! So many smells! And so many noises. Every instinct told her to run, and never stop running until she was back in the familiar forest, where at least she knew what was a danger and what wasn't. But she trusted her new friends, so she just tightened her tail's grip around her human's neck and tried to make herself as small as possible across his shoulders.
When nothing leaped down on them immediately, though, her curiosity got the better of her. She lifted her head and sniffed the air tentatively. The huge diversity of sensory information threatened to overwhelm her; the pokecenter had not prepared her for this. The forest smelled of damp earth, greens, and pokemon. Here, there was such a number of scents that she could not identify! She longed to investigate them, but fear held her back. So she could only stare dumbly, wide-eyed with shock.
