Kodate almost missed Angel's entrance, his entire focus was devoted to ridding the world of this hollow. He pushed his way inside when he caught sight of Angel out of the corner of his eye, and he gave the fellow shinigami only a half-nod as he kept his entire attention on the hollow. He tensed his legs, and then shot forward, leading Angel in for the kill. He pulled his sword back and slammed it into the hollow's mask with as much force as he could muster, burying it even past the hilt into it's white form. It began to shatter and then Angel hit it, making the entire head just explode. Being so close, Kodate was showered in hollow blood as its body began to disintegrate. He fell to the ground as the solid shell underneath him just disappeared. He groaned, using the inside sleeve of his shihakusho to wipe away most of the blood from his face. The tall man covered in blood would have been absolutely terrifying to behold if people didn't know how quiet and calm Kodate was.

He sheathed his zanpaku-to back into the reaches of his shield, and began to stretch, as the aches from being knocked from the air began to take hold, now that the adrenaline was beginning to die out. He looked around at those assembled, and smiled sadly. Most of the shinigami made it, but one had died. He would remember to mourn her later, but for now they were still on duty and who knew what the hell else would pop up. He was about to congratulate Angel for assisting him, and all of them for a job well done, when someone started yelling about a kid and a hollow. Another spike of adrenaline shot through his system, and he whipped around, shield at the ready. He saw the scene in full, and raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure?" He called out at the man as he drew weapons at a small child. "I'm not getting a reading off of him at all. Perhaps you're just tired. Stop brandishing blades at kids, it's bad for our image." Despite his talk, though, he walked over to accompany Haru. "Besides, he doesn't have a mask. Even Espada have a mask, man."

((The thing is, however, is that Satsu is a captain-class being. Hollow or not, he was not concealing his reiatsu, which is the same of that which was just killed; a hollow. The very appearance of a hollow should have alerted people, even if they look like a shinigami they give off reiatsu regardless. The facepalm, however, was from the initial reaction I got of second guessing me. Normally in a situation where a being that could rip you apart by it's presence alone is rarely met with idle discussion.))

It has taken a lot longer then what it should have in the medical tent, apparently the superficial wounds she'd received on her arm were prone to infection or something. Either way the non serious nature of the injuries were clearly worse off then Natsuki's self diagnosis of the injury. Now she was able to make her way to the mission that had been announced. Just in time too for as she arrived there was a new face on the battle field. In place of the mystery hollow there was a hollow powered child wandering around, not necessarily strong but no pushover either. He was stronger then those gather around too and the strange energy almost made her ill at the overwhelming feeling that emanated from the kid. Quickly she analyzed the field and spotted a casualty likely to have been crushed judging by the extensive damage on her body. She couldn't help but wonder had she been here sooner if this scene might have been prevented. scanning over the faces of those here she spotted many she had met just earlier where they all received that unique and rather spontaneous training session.

Her attention went to the child once more and while observing couldn't help but feel he held a certain innocence to his air. "Hey you! How did you get here to this place?" She asked aloud as she approached the child going against her instinctual urges to remain silent. She needed to get an answer and maybe this kid would give it. obviously there was a way into this place that would need patched up. it wasn't common for hollows to break in this far.

((Eer...I usually hate clustering RPs with OoC, but heck, everyone's doing it...
I'm guilty of not having checked the profile and had zero suspicion until I read Pad's post, but I agree that at least some hints in Zephyr's post would have been nice. From the way he had described his character, Satsu looked and felt like a shinigami:


Good job fooling the lazy though I have no intentions of making any edits to my previous post mainly because I also despise auto-knowledge and that's usually why I dumb down my characters or take at least a post or two to figure things out. Also, Satsu is the a King so it wouldn't be illogical to assume that he has a trick or two up his sleeve to pass for a shinigami especially if he has decided to visit Soul Society. Not to mention that as graduates, our characters shouldn't be skilled enough in spiritual detection (or however you call reiatsu sensing) to catch the nuances if Satsu was suppressing his reiatsu. Yea, I'm making up excuses. :>

Either way, that is irrelevant to me now as I am taking a hiatus from role-playing for 2-3 weeks in favor or sorting real life. (Is there an absentee thread?) I'm also planning to make some major edits to my character profile so ciao. Y'all can pretend that Sakura faded into the decor after an embarrassed fit and ran to the fourth division and I wish you all booze and a good time at that party that will be held in Hueco Mundo.))
