Clint headed for the shorter male, looking at the Runic Hunter that stood next to him blandly for a moment before holding out a hand. "Clint Silva," he said. Since apparently they were going to be working together. "Tell me you've driven one of these things before," he said to Ralph. "Or have you?" he asked the stranger. It was pretty obvious what job he didn't want.

Jumpy little fellow, that Ralph was. Aiden shook Clint's hand firmly, nodding his head. "Hello, Clint. I'm Aiden. It's a pleasure." He said with a less than pleasant expression. It seemed perma-stuck on serious mode. His hands returned to their pockets, eyeing the two men casually. "I have. Though never on an actual mission. Just lab tests."

Well, that was easier than expected, and hey, maybe they could find another person or two just to be on the safe side. Having more than the minimum required might boost their chances some, but for the time being Miriam was just happy to have found a group so quickly. "Pleased to meet you both. I'm Miriam, Life division, though feel free to just call me Miri if you like." she replied cheerfully, trying to squash the sick feeling in her stomach just thinking about the mission they were taking on. So trying to be cheerful was her way of not letting the pressure and worry get to her. < ... Ahem. What am I, chopped liver?> Verdandi chided, almost as if she was pouting a bit at not being introduced. Even though she couldn't communicate with anyone but Miri, there were times where she enjoyed being a part of the group too, so to speak. " No... I just don't want to seem show-offish when we need to all get along and work together on this, so please hush." Miri replied mentally, frowning a little while glancing back over her shoulder for a brief moment before focusing on the group again. "Have we decided on a pilot yet?"

If Neil knew this was the most that Alexi spoke for the day, he might have been impressed. "Nice to meet you Alexi, Miri." he said back, beaming at the new sense of companionship between them. He heard many stories about the hunters from the Life division. That they enjoyed torturing things in the name of science. Tried to do stem cell research and create prosthetic limbs with runic weapons attached. Including a vague story about a giant underground testing area for the explicit use of testing the atomic structure of organic matter and the effect of short and long distance molecular transfer via manual fire dimensional rift rifles. And that it was monitored by the life department heads autotuned AI program. But these were just stories. It was nice to see that they had just normal people in their squadron. "Well there is safety in numbers, plus having a hunter with a fear weapon is a big advantage." he said with simple stare. It also improved the likeliness of survival but that didn't need to be said. he did feel the need to peek over the railing and watch the people down below. It felt like eons since he could be that blissfully naive, enjoying what life gave him. a safe home, a warm bed and a lie of a life. Oh there was a bit of envy there, they just did not know what true horrors wait in the darkness. That in itself made him pity them too, from his place above them, the ants that scrambled around times square in the dark. "We haven't decided on a pilot yet, from what I can see." he mentioned softly, already back in the moment and checking on the two weapons he still had nestled in the pockets of his coat. azure eyes payed keen attention to the barrier dagger in his hand, the metal was cool and shiny, ready for action. "Do we have any takers for the position in that case?" he said boldly, it didn't matter to him if he was controlling it or defending, the runt of the moon squad just wanted to make sure that he was going to be able to see the next morning and the sunrise that came along with it.

Oh god oh god oh god he was going to die oh god oh god Ok just. Find a team. Get them to cover your back. And hide behind their combined meat shield. Yes. Yes this was the best plan of action. Cecil cleared his throat, shoving his anxiety down into a deep, festering part of his stomach as he watched everyone swarm to form their respective teams. "HEY!" He finally called out, "Anyone got room for some of this?" Dear god he hoped he'd find a team.

"Is there anyone that needs a Moon for there group?" Seth called out as he was unsure of where he was needed to be a shield to protect those that were going to use the Argus. He didn't mind where he went all he wanted to do was to protect the best that he could. Slowly breathing in and out to make sure to keep himself focused on the task at hand to protect. Huni Pi Headset: I will and thanks. Good luck to you Gabby

Trundlebug headset: I'm out, Isaac. See you on the other side. Adam licked his lower lip and bit it, nodding. Alright then. He was perfectly content to run around defending people, but someone somewhere had to still need a team.
<< Well, enjoy your team, darling, because ours will survive far longer than yours. >>
Spiteful weapon? Not at all.
Then, as if on cue, someone was yelling.
"I don't have a team!" he yelped back, "Safety in numbers!" He raised a hand amidst the crowd, hoping to call the others to him.

"If we are moving, I suggest we do it now. Maybe try one of the Twin Towers? as a vantage point? It's plenty high and I'm certain we can get a better view or have more space to fight in, when we move."
They were supposed to take high points, right? Lowe shifted Afzal in his grip and looked to the others, wanting to move. There was no point in delaying this - the sooner things got done the better. His flesh was prickled with goosebumps from the night cold, and he bit his lower lip in anticipation.
"Let us move. Now."

Melly bit her lip slightly, trying to think about who she might want to team up with. It wasn't as if she knew anyone here ... and right at the moment, the young Hunter couldn't even spot anyone that she had met recently. Then suddenly her headset crackled to life and a familiar voice came to her ears. "Need some company for Doomsday?"Oh, it was Aiden! That's right, he was in Moon ... now where..? Standing on tiptoes, Melly scanned the crowd until she spotted the blond Hunter, then started making her way over toward him and the others he was standing with. "Hi! Do you guys mind if I join up with you too?"

Cecil glanced up at the call, relief immediately spreading over his face, although he kept his smile wide and cocky. "Well, wonderful, wonderful! I'm more than happy to fly that morceau de merde, I have utmost confidence in all of your abilities I am sure you'll- ah- watch my back wonderfully." If he could help it, the center of the defensive huddle was definitely the best place to be. If anyone else wanted that position they'd have to fight him for it. Brave, soldier, brave. His weapon grunted, and Cecil could once again sense the rolling of eyes. I've kept us alive this long, haven't I? Intelligence, clearly.

Adam nodded, and Petia gave a happy hiss. She would see her action after all. Yes, let Goggles McScientist take over the flying, he would defend him with all he had left. He may never get to see what FEAR looked like through a lens, though.
Oh well. There were a lot of things he'd regret.
"I'm fine with that. My charged attack is defensive, so you'll keep up a long time. There was someone else calling for help... we would have a complete team."

Amy found herself to be strangely calm. There might have been some apprehension in the air, but she didn't notice it. She was here to do a job, or die trying. A fact she didn't even flinch from.
But in order to do that job properly, she would need to find a group. "I can help on defense if anyone needs me!" she called. She was a Moon Hunter, and that's what she did.

No thought could really push away the iron Selena felt in the pit of her belly. The coldness curled around nervousness curled around honest to god fear, and even being in the presence of her stupid friends couldn't shake it. She didn't even shake off C's arm as it crawled over her shoulder, leading her to where the argus laid. "So," she said, clearing her throat. "Which one of us is going to be the ******** pilot?" She jabbed each of her pals in the ribs with a bony finger, eyebrow raised just a smidge. "Rock paper scissors?"

"The more the merrier!!" Cecil's head nearly spun off his shoulders at the shout of yet another Moony looking for action. The more bodies between him and the enemy, the better. Frowning, he flipped on his headset, ready to send a wire out to Wicket, but no matter how many times he switched... "MERDE! Alright-" Wickett was fine. He was a tough, doughy sort, it'd take more than an apocalypse to stop that creeper. Just don't think about it. "It's a total sausage party here, pretty ladies are always welcome!" He almost felt bad she would probably be dismembered horribly somehow. But that was the way the Hunter Crumbled.

Em turned to wiggle her way between the three of them, and enjoyed the warmth there. "Sounds good, Lowe. Here, hold my helmet for a second, okay baby?" She handed Lowe her helmet, and gave him a wink, before slinking out and heading over to C, Selena, and Mark. Without so much as a warning, she grabbed them and threw herself at them. "You sexy sweethearts, I wanna see you guys blowing up the skies when I look through my helmet up there!" She gave each of them a sweet kiss, lingering lastly on C if only because her hands were wandering, and she wasn't quite ready to let it end. C felt so nice in her arms, she didn't know if she'd ever have the guts to tell the girl just how much she enjoyed the night before. Em loved spending her time with anyone who treated her right. But C.. girls were just so soft. So gentle. They knew what they were doing. And if Em wasn't already in love.. She pulled away before that thought got away from her. She winked at C and smacked her right in the rear, before walking off without another word. Just another conversation that would never end, just held in mid-air until the next time Em caught up with her. Or them. Or anyone. Nothing ever had to end, if you never said goodbye. Taking her helmet back from Lowe, she muscled back in between the boys, and pointed towards the doors. "I'm ready! Let's go!"
