Miranda entered the class, finding a seat in the front.
She placed her notebook and pen on the desk, making sure they were aligned with each other.
She observed the others students who seemed to be interacting with each over greatly.
Well, This is a busy class..

And I'm gonna keep it. I know something you don't know.

Angela was somewhat relieved when the first day of class arrived. She'd gotten a little tired of the feeling that all she was doing was loafing around, even though the free time was nice. But still, she was supposed to be at school so it would be nice to finally, well, do school-like things.

She hadn't taken long to get ready, throwing on a uniform and pulling her hair back. After grabbing her things, she'd quickly left her dorm without speaking to anyone. (It was kind of sad that she didn't know anyone, still.) She made a mental note to use her free period to go check on the kittens in Professor Sinclair's class, as she checked her schedule.

She had art first thing, so she headed to the art room, pausing only briefly outside to take a quick breath and steady her nerves before entering. Stepping inside, she looked around at the other students, grimacing when she noticed a familiar face. She bit back the urge to ask if he was spewing more crude, and poorly thought out insults, and instead just took her seat as they waited for the teacher to arrive.

She pulled out her sketch book and started finishing up some of the portraits sh had been working on. She had no idea what they would be discussing the first day, but she hoped the class would prove challenging. She had never really been to a school like this before, but she ad done a lot of research about them, and most of what she'd heard about the art classes was less than complimentary. But hopefully Rosentale would be different.

Renivere grinned as she sat down in a chair and waited. She actually was planning to stay silent so she really had nothing to say. She was going to be a listener today so she could learn the ways of the English language. People always thought Renivere was some kind of idiot because of the way she speaks English, but truthfully, she felt that she was rather knowledgeable.

Renivere could understand English just fine. No matter what people said, she understood it. The only problem was when she tried to reply back. That was when things got confusing. So with Renivere, it was usually a one-sided conversation. She understood, but the other didn't.

Renivere turned to see a little girl enter the room and blabber about respecting their elders. Well, wasn't that... something most people normally did? Renivere was unsure how to respond to the little girl's lecture. "The birds shine down on this morning. To meet you is a wave of bundled joy. I am Renivere. You are?" Renivere asked the little girl with a cheerful smile.

Hiro noticed as Angela entered the room. If she were to bother him he wouldn't hesitate to throw some fire her way. Instead he continued to ignore her and relax. He made the fire ball he hand in his palm bigger in case.of anything that needed to be set aflame.

Aerin's eyes glanced back when she heard the incoming students, but she quickly turned her attention back to the pathetic pest girl she had spotted back in the hallways.

"My name is Aerin. It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Revivere, and it is a marvellous day for a fresh start of school." She returned the smile back, mentally upgrading this female's status for her use of language. Perhaps, this one wasn't as bad as the rest of these scums, but then again, she needed to keep an eye for signs that this Renivere might indeed a smiting.

Of course, Aerin was able to note the hostility and tension that sparked up and inwardly cackled. Already? It just goes to show that this 'unity' that this school was emphasising was horrendous. All someone needed to do was drive a wedge into those cracks, and it'd be over.

Juliet gasps lightly when she turns back to look at the class, a lot more students had entered. Juliet completes her vase drawing and leaves it there to dry. She puts her bag on a chair and starts to observe things around the class. She sees a pretty blonde girl sitting at the front seat. She walks up to her and says,
"Um..Hi! I'm Juliet. What would your name be? I just thought about saying hello to you,as we're gonna be class fellows for a very long time," she ends her sentence with a little laugh. She chews her lips as she waits for Miranda to answer.

Angela caught sight of Hiro's fireball out of the corner of her eye and couldn't help but snicker inwardly at his overt posturing. She hummed quietly under her breath, a serene smile on her face. But she was thinking, "Overcompensating." She kept drawing though. This was one class in which she would not permit herself to be baited. She had been looking forward to it for far too long. And she had no intention of letting him ruin it. Besides, she might be able to direct a high voltage electrical his way, but she had a feeling that electrocuting another student was against the rules. (She did not dislike him enough to actually hurt him anyway. Well, beyond punching him a few times. She certainly wouldn't wish to cause permanent damage. Even if he was a arse, there were just some lines she did not like to cross. Seriously injuring and possibly killing people was one of them. Though if his manly little fire display was supposed to frighten her off or make her afraid he had no qualms about killing her maiming her, what little respect she had for him--not that there was much--frittered off into oblivion, never be seen again).

Besides, she couldn't guarantee that other students would not be caught in the crossfire. Her magic was...disobedient and, well, sort of hyper. She couldn't promise that it wouldn't scatter off and decide to start a severe electrical storm in the class for its own amusement. And that would be...bad. Not to mention a huge waste of art supplies.

So yes. Self control. She should have brought one of her anger management books.

Hiro made the ball disperse and looked around. He was the only man in the room. Either all the other guys were in Battle Strategy or the girls needed this as an outlet. Either way he took classes he wanted to improve on or get an easy A. He could talk to the other girls but decided to stay and relax. Atleast until he got bored.
(If you were to hit Hiro with lighting it wouldn't so much. The initial shock would affect him but the heat would give him some strength. So it wouldn't do anything.)

Renivere smiled at the girl that just approached her. Even though there was a lot of tension in the room, she was still trying to make friends. If things started to get bad, Renivere should just make an explosion of flowers or something to distract everyone from each other. What were these people doing here if they couldn't try to look past their differences anyways?

"My name is Renivere. Happy greetings, Juliet." Renivere said, not adding anymore to that since she didn't want to scare Juliet away with her weird English. Beside, Renivere wanted to be a listener today. She was having trouble committing all the sentence structures and uses of the words to memory, but she was certainly doing her best.

She also noticed that poor Hiro was the only male in the class. Or maybe it wasn't a bad thing? Renivere wasn't sure at all. She wondered if there would be other guys in the class. Renivere had decent art skills. They couldn't be polished to be professional, but they weren't drop dead pathetic. Hopefully she could survive this class with her decent skills.

After all this waiting Hiro accidentally fell asleep. Like usual when he falls a sleep once he exhales a bit of fire comes out. Luckily the fire disperses right after it exits. He woke up quickly and decided to listen to music. He put on the song Mad World. He couldn't stop listening to it. It was like his theme song. He spoke out loud not really talking to anyone in particular. " Where is that teacher?"

((I'm not going to argue this point because first of all, Angela wouldn't use that ability on someone else because she has a conscience and I'm not all that interested in an RP pissing contest just because our characters dislike each other. <3 But my inner geek wants to point out that fire and electricity are not the same thing. Lightning doesn't just kill people because it's hot. It disrupts the body's systems--like brain signals. It can sever motor functions by distorting and/or shutting down the brain's electrical signals--again, nothing to do with heat--and often simply causes people to stop being able to breathe, or makes their heart stop beating. Being immune to heat would save his insides from being burned to a crisp. It would not keep him from being immune to disruption of electrical signals and possible death because of it. Again--fire and electricity are not the same thing. But if you want to insist they are, then just assume his fire wouldn't hurt Angela either.)) ;D

((Might as well get class started. Hopefully anyeong comes online. ;-; ))

People were starting to get impatient. Hiro voiced Renivere's thoughts--in proper English--about the art instructor. She was also getting a little impatient. The door opened and a woman walked into the room. "I will be your substitute for today. Your teacher may or may not be coming but he is having some personal issues at the moment. Everyone take a seat and I will be taking attendance."

The woman began to call out names. Everyone seemed to say 'here' at the sound of their name so Renivere was sure to do the same thing too.

Their instruction was to do a still life at the moment and there was a bunch of fruit placed in the front of the classroom. Renivere wrinkled her nose. She wanted to add flowers to it, but she started to draw on her notepad.

When the substitute came in and set up a still life for the class to work on, Angela put away her personal sketch book (she had long since given up on focusing on any real art and had set to doing silly doodles of her fellow students) and got out her charcoals and a clean sheet of drawing paper.

Still lifes were...well, sort of a dull way to start out the year but she supposed it was better than a host of other stupid projects that came to mind. In any case it was easy, so she just focused on doing a photo-realistic drawing of the fruit. When this one was finished, she thought she might take a more abstract approach just for fun.

As she shaded her oranges, she glanced around to see what the other students were doing, wondering how good the rest of them were. It might be nice to have someone to talk art with--provided any of them were actually interested in the subject.

Hiro wasn't the best artist but if he focused he could draw well. He took a look at it and held the notebook and drew. He drew the upper part of the table. Then an apple, orange, and a mango set side by side.He the drew a banana over the apple. So far so good. He took a look at the fruit and saw he placed them wrong. As long as he can draw the fruit correctly there shouldn't be any penalties.
