D.C. chuckled as he walked next to Mew." Nah, we both know mine was way more epic. I say you just got distracted seeing as I'm not wearing a shirt," he said as he walked ahead slightly, turned around, then walked backwards. He stuck he tongue out slightly at Mew." So, out of curiosity, how long do you think you'll be tagging along with me?"

"Did not," Mew said after the whole no shirt comment. But she also made sure to not pay attention to the fact that D.C. was shirtless. Because in reality she really kind of liked it, and for all she knew it could be distracting her. Then to answer D.C.'s question Mew said, "um not really sure, how long do you plan on letting me?"

"Uh huh, suuure ya didn't. And I don't really care how long," D.C. said before stopping. He leaned against a wall and inspected his wound a little before sighing, then he held up his robotic arm and inspected it. After a few seconds he nodded slightly to himself, then let his arm fall and he began walking again. D.C. looked up, and cursed quietly as rain started to fall. It began pouring and within moments the rain had both D.C. and Mew drenched. He could barely see anything, so he grabbed Mew's hand and dragged her into a building to their left. Once inside he pulled out his guns, searched the small building, and killed the only two infected inside. He walked over to Mew as he holstered his guns." Well, we're gonna be stuck here till then rain passes. Shouldn't be too long though, the rain passes pretty quickly here."

"Well uh this is annoying I hate having on wet clothes," Mew commented as they got in the building. But then when she thought of how D.C. could take that Mew said, "but before you get any ideas, I'm not taking them off," Mew hoped the rain would pass quick because she didn't like the idea of being stuck somewhere, but she figured as far as people to be stuck with D.C. seemed to be not that bad, "hopefully you're right about the rain passing quick because you probably should have someone who actually knows medical stuff take a look at that wound."

D.C. laughed a little as he looked out the window." Darn, got my hopes up for nothing," he said with a little grin before turning around to face Mew." Though me being in cold wet clothes with a wound probably isn't good," he said, before taking off his jacket and throwing it against a nearby chair. He shook his whole body, water flying off of him as he did so. Once finished D.C. looked at his pants and then looked around." Hm, crud. This place seems to have been cleared out so there won't be any pants. I guess I'll be stuck in these for awhile, unless you're okay with me taking them off for a bit to dry," D.C. said as he sat down and winked at Mew. He put his hand over the wound, holding it slightly.

Mew jumped back away from D.C. as he shook himself off "hey give a person some warning before you do something like that puppy," Mew said complaining but still smiling after his whole getting his hopes up comment. Mew was aware that D.C. had wolf DNA not dog but she figured that was close enough. "And I would prefer you not take off your pants but if you feel like it's a good idea go ahead."

"Nah, I suppose I should keep them on. Wouldn't want you getting any thoughts now," D.C. said as he leaned back in the chair. He shivered a little and bit his lip." But dang it it cold. I hope I don't get sick from this, cause that's the last thing I need," he muttered slightly as he glanced out the window. The rain was still pouring, and it actually sounded like it was getting worse.

Mew giggled, "I don't think me getting any thoughts would be something you would be worried about," Mew said before finding a chair for her to sit on. Mew pulled her knees up to her chest trying to be more warm and shivered, "yeah I hope you don't that would just make a probably sucky day even worse."

"You're just saying that to get me out of my pants," D.C. said with a grin and laugh as he stood up. He looked around, and after a few seconds kicked a crate. A light suddenly came from the floor that the crate was covering. D.C. moved the crate more, then looked down. There was a hole in the floor with a ladder leading down to a tunnel. D.C. crouched down and looked inside of the hole." Well, I may have just possibly found us a way out of here."

"Hehe yeah that is totally why I said that" Mew said jokingly as she rolled her eyes. Mew sneezed while D.C. was looking around and in her head she was thinking damn it I really hope I'm not getting sick as she shivered some more. "Neat so I guess you pick. Do you wanna sit here and wait for the weather to clear up, or do you wanna investigate the tunnel thing?"

"Hm, tunnel could be filled with things that could kill us, and because of its closeness we'd have to be pretty lucky to make it out. The storm would make it so we wouldn't be able to see around us but we could escape. So I guess the more dangerous option is the tunnel," D.C. said, talking but apparently to himself. He looked at the tunnel, then the door, then back and forth repeatedly for a moment. Finally, he said," Well, tunnel it is then!" He grabbed his jacket, tied it around his waist, then walked back over to the tunnel. He jumped down, and a loud curse came up from the tunnel." That was a bigger drop then I thought!"

"Tunnel ight sound's good to me," Mew said before being suppressed by D.C. jumping into the tunnel. Mew laughed when she heard D.C. curse "idiot," Mew said as she walked over to the tunnel then calmly went down the ladder. She was still kinda shivering but she didn't want to complain about it so instead she said, "so I guess you lead the way,” as she looked around the tunnel.

D.C. was crouched down the the tunnel rubbing his knee when Mew came down. He stood up, and turned to face her. He nodded at her and started to walk. The tunnel was clearly a sewer and water was rushing through the middle area of it because of the storm." Alright, sounds good," D.C. said as he started walking." Well, I wonder why that house was directly connected to the sewer?" He queried as he looked around.

Mew was wondering the same thing, "who knows maybe the home owner was super paranoid and thought they needed an escape route or something," Mew sneezed again after saying that "crud, I'm probably going to get sick," she complained as she rubbed her shoulders trying to get herself warm.

"Well that's not good. Only thing we could do about it is make sure you get some rest and keep warm once we get back to the controlled area, though..." D.C. said, trailing off at the end. He then shook his head and continued to walk in silence as he watched for any signs of infected. After a minute of walking, splatters and pools of blood started to show on the ground and walls. This caused D.C. to keep his revolvers aimed forward.
