A quick gasp of embaressment escape Airylynn as she felt James probe her thoughts. Biting her lip, she tried to do the same, but came up blank. Giving up as he walked away, Airylynn took a quick breath and just nodded cooly to answer his , trying hard to remain the calm and collected girl those at her old school knew her to be. "Sure, might as well. I skipped eating today." She said, walking over to James and smiling deviously. "I caught you earlier by the way. It's not nice to read people's thoughts with out asking." She whispered flirtasiously, then flashed a smile as she continued walking forward. A few steps later, she turned and started walking backwords to watch James.

Vibryo Vee was a little shocked when Kiria said that she hadn’t brought up the fish issue to the chefs though the expression soon passed when she learned the reasoning. I still don’t want the blame for it, she thought to herself as she weighed the option in her mind. “Be right back,” she softly stated with a smile as she excused herself from the table and walked over to one of the cooks. “Not to be a bother, but a chef said he was making a meal for me?” she politely stated and smiled a thank you when said cook went to check on the progress of her meal. She took the time to casually wander along the buffet and stopped in front of the fish, looking down at it as if she had spotted something amiss. The cook came back and told her it would be just a moment longer. “Thank you. I appreciate it. Though, did you realize that your fish is undercooked?” She whispered the question, obviously not wanting to cause any panic among the students. The cook disagreed with her, telling her that it was cooked perfectly. Vee shook her head and went to get a knife and fork to cut into it and show him the center. “This is not suppose to be this color,” she explained as she handed the utensils to him. Immediately seeing what she was talking about, the cook took up her utensils and the fish and carried them to the back.
She casually returned to her seat and smiled at Kiria. “I do believe the second batch will be better. Too bad for anyone who gets a tummy ache from the first batch. Mistakes happen.” Her eyes wandered to the napkin Kiria had been drawing on and she remember that they had been discussing their abilities. “So you can see glimpses of the future. How useful that must be,” she stated with a pleasant smile. “You mentioned the headmaster. I take it she has the same ability as yourself though more honed? And who do you practice your...um…” she searched her mind for a second to remember how Kiria had phrased it as she didn’t want to insult her by saying the wrong thing, “implanting thoughts ability on?” That one actually worried her a bit as she didn’t like the idea of having her mind messed with. It was hard to say what was and wasn’t a personal decision when one is led to believe that they actually fell a certain way. She looked around at the other students, wondering who else had such a powerful ability. Perhaps I’m out of my league here, she thought before pushing it away and giving her attention back to Kiria. She was thankful for the girls view on the mind. “And you're an artist as well. A person of many abilities, I see” she stated as she looked at the napkin and tried to make out the image on it.

Kiria watched as Vee casually told the cook about the fish. She liked this girl; that much she knew. She nodded when Vee returned and said the second batch would be better. Then she returned to their earlier conversation and inquired about Headmaster Hartford.
"Oh, more honed of course, but just even more advanced. She can see it perfectly; of course that might be a problem for us students. And, if there's anyone you wouldn't ever want to touch, it's her. She can read every thought you've ever had with a simple handshake. I made that mistake when I first came here and now she likes to hold certain things over my head.."
Kiria looked at the napkin she'd been scribbling on and tried to make out some sort of picture from it. In her mind, it looked like a bird of sorts, but it could look totally different to someone else.
"Thanks. I can't really draw per se, but I'm good at scribbling. *sigh* As for the other power, I usually practice on animals."
Kiria threw her hand over her face and sigehd again.
"That must've sounded cruel. I don't like...I mean...I just...Okay, take birds for example; I just tell them different directions to fly. I don't harm them in any way though, and I only do this for a few minutes."
After saying this, Kiria glanced away from Vee. If she hadn't been wanting to leave the table already, she must be now. Kiria had made herself sound even more freaky than usual.

αииα Anna looked around at everyone else as she sat down at a table, by herself, not touching her food. She wasn't hungry. She was much too restless. Anna stared intently at the girl who had tried to talk to her earlier and the girl sitting with her. Interesting specimen, Anna thought casually as if she addressed everyone this way. She couldn't believe the girl had actually tried to talk to her. No one ever did that.

James chuckled when he heard her gasp. He could feel her trying to ease into his thoughts, but he kept his mind blank and shut down purposely. He continued walking, but heard her response and smiled in triumph. He didn't glance at her, but knew enough to tell that she was walking beside him now. Her footsteps were light. He could also tell that she was trying to be cool and collected around him, because she seemed a bit nervous. He laughed again when she mentioned that he was in her thoughts. "I do it all the time, love." He whispered back in a flirty way, giving her his famous grin.

"Oh really? Well my dear, you might not find very happy things in my thoughts." Airylynn replied, breathless from James' smile. Her phone rang again, this time playing a more intense rock tune. Rolling her eyes, Airylynn stuffed her hand into her purse and pulled out the ringing phone and hit end call, ignoring the incoming calls from her parents. In fact, she just turned the thing off and started pulling out the battery. "Piece of crap,," She muttered, having trouble with battery and memory chip that was crammed into her small phone. Giving up, Airylynn just shoved the phone into her back pocket and looked back at James. "So why are you here?" She whispered, scared she was the only one whose families had given up on their kids.

((I'm finally able to post...)) Allen's parents parked in front of the school. "Well son." his father began to speak, "make sure you learn something. And go easy on the other kids..you don't want to out smart them." his father shook his hand. He went for the door before his mother stopped him. "We love you Allen." He knew it was a lie. They only liked his grades and his manners. "Sure yo- I mean, I love you too." He turned and put his legs outside the closed door. He then stood up and took a few steps forward. His parents looked at him with disgust, but yet amazed. He walked around the back and reached through the trunk lid. He grabbed his two bags and set them on the ground. While he was walking on the sidewalk up to the building, his dad rolled down the window and called out to him, "Try not to do what ever you just did too much either." Allen never turned around but he called out a "yes father" before walking through the door. He didn't know where to go. He only found out a few days ago that he was enrolled in this "awesome" school as his parents put it. He figured that they saw it as a way to get rid of him. Good ol' daddy couldn't ruin his reputation by having a son who was a freak. His mother was just ashamed of him. She could never handle it. Allen looked around the very large foyer of the school. He searched for signs that pointed him in the right direction. He didn't find one. "What kind of school is this?" he said as he picked his bags back up and walked down random hallways. He finally found a room with a door that was marked office. "Finally." he said to himself as he walked through the closed door. There was a woman at the desk who looked nice but gave off a vibe that was rude. She didn't notice him standing there as she typed away at her computer. He decided to test how jumpy she was. He focused his energy and his mind on the woman. "Maybe you should pay more attention to who's in front of you instead of the computer" he told the woman telepathically. She jumped a little before looking at him. "Sorry about that. I didn't hear you come in. What's your name?" she said as she opened up a file cabinet. He placed his bags down. "Allen...Allen Armstrong." he told the woman. She searched through the cabinet and eventually pulled out a file. She checked through them. "It seems as if your parents already filled them out for you. Room 13. Here's your key and some papers about the school. Go out his door and turn to the left. You'll see a sign pointing you in the right direction." The woman went back to typing on her computer. Allen sighed as he picked up his bags. He walked through the door again and headed towards his room. The halls were empty. Maybe it was dinner time. He eventually found his room and placed his bags on the bed. "Well at least dad's money is going to good use I guess. The room isn't all that bad." he walked out the door and locked it. He took out a map to find the cafeteria. It looked as if he could walk through a few walls and be there. It would save him the hassle of roaming hall after hall he thought. After a few minutes he found himself walking into a large room of students. They were all eating and conversing with one another. He saw a table in the back that was empty and took a seat at it. There would be time to make friends. He just wanted to relax.

Curious about the comments on her thoughts, he glanced over at her and smiled a bit, laughing quietly at her expression from his smile. He knew he had knocked most ladies off of their feet with it. They turned the corner and was almost to the dining hall when the phone started ringing again. Irritated, he frowned when she picked it up and watched her fool with it until she finally stashed it into her back pocket. Glad that she hadn't decided to take it, he gave her a relieved look and finally noticed that they had made it into the large dining hall, which was somewhat like a cafeteria because everyone got their food there.
He stopped when he heard her question and ran a hand through his hair, nervous. What would he say? He finally decided not to say anything for now. Instead, he simply replied, "I'll tell you later." With that, he motioned her over to the food line, and stepped right in. He asked for a fruit cup and salad, feeling like being a vegetarian today. He wasn't too hungry, and there was no reason to go and fill himself up. He knew he would regret it later. When he got his food, he asked for a glass of diet cola. He soon got his drink and put it on the stupid tray, feeling as if he was back in elementary school again. Where is the milk cartons, he thought bitterly. Sighing, he plastered on a smile and waited for Airylynn to be done with getting her own food. He looked around, wondering where they would sit. There seemed to be all filled up tables in the room, at least two people sitting at each one. He looked in the corner and saw only one guy at a table, looking interested in his surroundings. He figured they could sit there.

Allen scanned the room. Everyone was having such a good time except him. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to be at home or with friends. Somewhere that he could take things easily and relax. This didn't seem like the place. As he searched the room, he saw two people looking for a table. The guy was looking over in the direction that Allen was in. He assumed that he was going to come over and want to sit with him since the other tables were full. "You can join if you want." he sent the words into the guy's mind.

James continued looking for a place to sit, and waiting for Airylynn to finish getting her food. He sighed, not knowing if the guy wanted them to sit there or not. He glanced back at the dark haired boy, who was sitting alone and watching the others. He looked lonely enough, and James really didn't care if the guy didn't want them to sit there or not. He had found them a place to sit, and in truimph, he smiled. They were going to sit there. But before he signaled Airylynn and walked over, he felt words come into his mind. They weren't his, either.
'You can join if you want'.
Freaked out just a bit, his eyes widened, but they soon narrowed as he looked for the person that had sent him words in his mind. It had to be a telepathic person. He glanced over in the lonely guy's direction and saw that he was looking straight at James. He was the one then. At least he knew they would not be shooed away from the table. He met the guy's eyes before looking back at Airylynn. "I know a place we can sit," he said loudly, beaming her a grin.

αииα Anna was sitting alone, taking a table which could seat seven people to herself. It wasn't her fault no one wanted to sit with her.....though it was her fault if she inhabited people coming to her table and made them sit somewhere else. She liked being alone and that was how she could keep it.

Airylynn just nodded at James' answer. "I'll make sure of that." She said, flashing a quick smile. When they were in the dining hall, Airylynn just grimaced. "Ew. People." She moaned under her breath as she grabbed a fruit cup and a fork. When James said he had found a place for them to sit, Airylynn nodded. "Where? Almost every table is full." She followed his eyes over to a boy sitting alone. She smiled and waved with the fork in her hand.

Laughing quietly when he heard her comment about how many people that were there, he watched her eyes travel to the boy sitting alone and she nodded, waving the fork in her hand. He laughed once again, finding her entertaining, and dragged her over to the table, sitting down and placing his tray in front of him, watching the silent boy intently as he did. He turned to Airylynn, gesturing for her to sit down as well.

Allen looked over the two. They seemed pretty normal, except for the cuts on the girls legs. He wondered why their parents had sent them there. After all it was a school for the gifted, so they were bound to have some sort of ability. The guy had been watching him, so he drew his attention to him. "It's not polite to stare good sir."Allen politely said to the guy. He crossed his arms as he leaned back in his chair. "So. What are your names?"

Airylynn let James drag her over to the table, laughing to herself as he did so. Setting the fruit and fork down on the table, she pulled out the chair and turned it, sitting to where she was able to lean on the chair back. Laughing at the boys comment to James, Airylynn took a strawberry and popped it in her mouth, completely forgetting about her fork. "Oh, I'm Airylynn Harbor." She said, covering her mouth as she spoke and chewed at the same time. After swallowing quickly, she smiled and looked into the boys mind, trying to find his name. "You're Allen right? Sorry about the reading, I need practice. Names are easy to find too." She said, winking and taking another bite of a strawberry.
