 It looks pretty intent. Maybe you should try and protect a pumpkin. Or attack the Santa Scout. Lets see which works out better for you.

Mandy let out a silent sigh of annoyance as their nice quiet spot was suddenly invaded by a influx of other students. It wasn't that she wasn't happy to see them alive and all, but.... large groups of students tended to get trigger happy and this Santa Scout had been actually helpful so fa-

Stepping quickly in front of the scout she help her hands up in the universal gesture of stop, "Hey, wow dude! These aren't any good for snackage. Give you terrible indigestion. You get mold and then.... er... explode!"
She actual had no clue what eating pumpkins did to a Joy creature and she did not want to find out.
Her stance just happened to put her in the perfect position to block any damage to pumpkin A1

ohhh no. nononono this couldn't happen. Astra didn't want to contend with a huge dragon AND a giant robot. There was no way she could deal with both. She wanted to avoid fighting, and she would try anything to stop it. Summoning up her courage, but she moved away from malodore (not too far), and put herself in front of B1"P-p-lease don't e-eat the pumpkins!" She stammered, and put on her most pitiful, cutest, big eyed face she could muster  The tears may or may have not been the result of her being so petrified. It was hard to tell.

Jericho glanced at Sammy a little critically when she said this guy seemed to be fine. Well, the guy wasn't attacking right now so perhaps she was right about this. Then, he heard another voice in the area. Glancing to the side, he saw a pair of fairy wings sticking out from behind Mal. Oh. It was just the little Klefairy. He would have said something, but the fact that the elf wanted to eat their respawn patch was a bit of a bigger thing to deal with. Rushing forth, he planted himself before C1. He would have gone further into the patch, but his current size made it a little risky. He could easily end up squashing stuff. HP: 32 Defend: 5 Status: DEFENDING C1

Slowly Samm pushed away from Maladore proper shuffling into the patch standing over a pumpkin, legs planted boots dug hard into the snow her left shoulder facing towards the Santa Scout.
"Eat something else, treats, or find some candy. But not these." She slowly raised her left hand hand open wide FEAR flickering to life purple flames lazily rolling over her arms and up towards her mangled shoulder.
"If you take a single pumpkin."
Her FEAR flashed stronger and her eyes focused hard on the Elf.
"I'll kill you and take the robot for myself to stop that damn rat...."
HP: 8
Defending: 5
Status: Guarding Pumpkin D1, bluffing like a boss.

Riley slid off of Jericho when he positioned himself in front of a pumpkin, protecting it from attack. She didn't look as angry as Sammy, or as determined as Jericho. She simply sat down in front of the pumpkin, carefully, almost nervously, and kept it out of view.
Without touching it.

Malodore moved over to the pumpkin just next to Riley's, a bit behind Jericho. The pumpkins were important. "Not a snack," it said, firmly. "There's plenty of peppermint snow about, why don't you try that?"

"Israfel!" She really wanted to answer his question, but the arrival of Mal, Jericho and Riley distracted her; but there was no Igor with them. Where was Christof? Her backwards hands linked together, worrying hard against her stomach; he'd be okay, right? Of course he would! She didn't have to worry about him, she knew that...but she had other things to worry about, as she realized where they were; The Pumpkin Patch!
Her lips set into a grim line and she moved, taking a stance beside Malodore and, gulp behind Jericho's massive form.
Please don't let the fire come back this way please please please please

"Aw man, you guys need to chill out. Humans say veggies are good for you! Or are these fruits? Anyways, here I'll show you how its done!" The two massive robot arms reach out to grab two pumpkins. Sadly, one was blocked by the little Halloween dudes! But at least it still had the one pumpkin! Picking up the pumpkin at A3, the scout began to eat it. Or at least, it would have, but it forgot to open the hatch, so it just ended up smooshing the pumpkin against the glass. "What...ahahahaha, oh man! How lame! Better try again!"

The connection of local food -> pumpkin patch -> eating the pumpkins had not quite sunk in for Shine...until the not-candy machine picked one up and tried to smash it into its face. She understood that feeling, but never tried to eat something as precious as the pumpkins were. That was just downright alarming! She stood in front of Pumpkin D3, frantically waving her arms in an attempt to get the machine operator to understand.
"No, no! Not food! Never food!" Producing one of Israfel's shared candies, she extended it forward. "This. Try this?"

This was a simple math problem. There were only so many of them, and far too many pumpkins. With time, no matter how many pumpkins they tried to protect, the giant horrifically colored robot would be able to get his fill of pumpkin destruction.
That left only one alternative.
Riley stepped up, and lashed out at the gears of the robots legs. If they could bring it down, incapacitate it..

Seeing Riley go after the robot, Jericho felt it was a good idea to follow suit. No doubt after the first sign of hostility, it would attack back. However, still in his true form, his attack was made gingerly as he was afraid he'd destroy some pumpkins in the process of his attack. HP: 32 Damage: 0 Status:

"No. Bad elf! Very, very bad elf!" Malodore said severely. It stayed in front of its pumpkin, but tried to focus its FEAR inward. Again, the miasma rose around it, but once again that peppermint breeze sliced through the fine mist and dissipated it to the four winds. Damn!
