Son. Of. A. WITCH. Roch fell to his knees, his hand reaching out pathetically to summon his guitar. This candlejacker was going DOWN. He brought his hands to the string and played the A chord.
It was overkill, but the jacker deserved it.
Roch's HP: 19/40 Damage: 17

. . . Wiiiince. "N-Nice shot," Mort commended them both in a mumbly voice. Still, the sight of more gray and blue made him more inclined to hurry the hell up and get inside.

Something was wrong with that... what was it, a nutcracker? It wasn't festive. It wasn't jolly. It was... different. "Roch? Was there something wrong with that one?" She could just be jumping to conclusions, after all. She hadn't seen a nutcracker pre-wisping and so couldn't really know, herself. She just gave Mort a look and smiled softly. At least this one hadn't had fire.

"Jackin... ow..." Roch whimpered, now scooping the snow up and piling it onto his lap. "Ow... ow... sonof a candlewax owwwww," he whimpered. "Jacker kicked even harder than Hel," he complained, barely hearing a thing she said.

Wait a second. Hel had kicked him in the crotch too? Taryn gave Roch a glance and then quickly looked away, cheeks coloring. She specifically held the inside of her pocket to not brush at her hair.
"I, um. ..." He hadn't answered her question but she couldn't blame him. The chimera cleared her throat instead.

This of course made Mortimer wonder what in Halloween did Roch do to get the valkyrie to kick him there too? She sounded like a nice gal . . . "Should go," he told them, passing the reaper a sympathetic look. "Will think more l-later when s-s-safe."

Slowly, his pants soaked, still in pain from the kick, Roch got to his feet. He didn't seem to have much balance, since he wobbled slightly as he braced himself to stand. "That... really... jackin' hurt," he said, with tears gleaming in his silver eyes. He looked over at Taryn. "Can... ah... can y'give me a hand?" he asked, holding out an arm. "Walking, that is?"
He probably should have asked Mort, since Mort was most likely to be stronger of the two, but hugging a cold corpse in the snow wasn't his idea of a great way to travel.

Taryn nodded and helped Roch to his feet, wrapping an arm around his waist to help him stand. Being female, she couldn't quite imagine the pain the boil was going through, but it seemed pretty terrible. She bent a little under his weight and sighed.
"I'm sorry to say Mort's right... we need to keep moving," Poor Roch.
