Crawling in my skin These wounds they will not heal KatyaFear is how I fall Confusing what is real There's something inside me That pulls beneath the surfaceXXXXX Consuming XxX Confusing Aleksandra This lack of self-control I fear is never ending *~Kissin~* At first Kiss just thought he was testing out her "name" in his gratitude, but then he continued, sounding oddly sincere. It was definitely more than she'd expected out of someone so drunk.
And then there it was, he was talking about his sister again. About how she used to be the on taking care of him after drinking too much, and not thanking her enough... It sounded like he had been at least somewhat serious about what he had said earlier. Was his sister really dead? She didn't want to ask, not now when he was like this.
"Ha" she gave a short laugh when he tried to pinkie swear, which she accepted with her own pinkie, "I'll hold you to it."
Kiss had started to walk away then, but he was saying something else, so she turned back. Gone by morning eh? She had started to continue back down the hall, planning on calling back an affirmative, when she stopped, and looked back over my shoulder. "Hey instead, if your not too hungover- make me breakfast if you're still feeling so thankful, eh? Just don't burn down the kitchen."
And then she continued into her room without waiting for an answer, still not even knowing his name, though he now knew hers. He probably wouldn't remember in the morning, but worth a try. Against my will I stand beside my own reflection It's haunting how I can't seem... ...To find myself again ]My walls are closing in[

Danny liked having someone doting over him. It was a new feeling, it was a good one. Vera wasn't hitting or yelling or calling him worthless, she was taking care of him. Though it was obvious there wasn't actually love involved, Danny could say he felt cared for.
The humming made him smile a little as she cleaned his face up. He could tell she was trying hard not to hurt him anymore as she did so. She hit one or two spots but at his age Danny was great at hiding pain so he stayed pretty neutral.
Really he was planning on dropping the whole story conversation, but she stopped humming and went into it. Again with a very analytical eye he watched and really listened to her words. He was good at listening to people, he may not like to talk but if someone, anyone was even remotely willing to speak to him he was content to listen. Unfortunately no one has ever been willing to give it a try because of the leave-me-alone attitude he put out. When she got to her drunk dad Danny's expression turned a little angry, was every dad horrible? It couldn't be, in elementary school when ever a dad came in to help with projects they were so nice. Danny had always wished for those parents.
Her eyes became glossy and prepared to cry, Danny figured some of what she said was true, but when she swallowed it and began talking a little freer, he figured the lies had begun and his face went neutral again.
When he was handed the towel he took it and kept listening. A pause and the shower was on. Then more story. It was getting hard to tell what was the truth. Maybe they could be completely honest with each other in time. Or maybe Danny could get out of this fix and find his own place in time. Then he wouldn't have to get close.
"Shower it is." He peeled off his shirt before she left, and looked at his reflection in the mirror. His left side contained the really bruised area, his father was right handed. Father mostly aimed for the torso, and the face was all his mother's. Sighing he shook his head. "Parents huh? They suck." He said just before she stepped into the hallway. He figured he could afford to give a little bit up.
after years of this I stopped wishing for anything.. I often wonder what normal kids wished for..

Vera Stevens Who is that girl staring straight back at me? Before she closed the door behind her, she sighed. "Kid, people in general seem to suck more and more each day." Vera grabbed the door knob, "But yeah, parents seem to be the main cause of everyone's s**t. I'd say they suck pretty damn bad."
She bit her bottom lip gently. "I'll be in my room when you're done. Also, I'll drop some clothes off for ya, those are kinda dirty." It was hard enough feeling clean in this place without musky clothes.
The door shut and she slumped to her bedroom. She figured she had time to let out a little pain before he was finished showering. Crashing onto her bed, she poured her eyes out into her pillow.
Sniffling, moments later, Vera reached behind her bed and grabbed her bowl and lit it up. A bowl later, she was buzzing and happy, feeling good.
Her head rested against her pillow, the draft from the shower wafted into the room, smelling fresh and clean. For a moment, she was content. If she closed her eyes, it almost felt like a home, a happy home.

Vera Stevens Who is that girl staring straight back at me? With her bowl laying beside her, Vera had almost managed to pass out. But not too much later, Danny walked back into the room, shutting the door quietly and pulling her out of her dreams.
"What?" She sat up, whipping off the side of her mouth due to drool. "No, No..." She looked down at his towel, "s**t, I forgot your clothes... Sorry. Distractions." Holding up her bowl as proof, she shrugged a bit.
"Uhm, feel free to lounge around in the towel..." Her eyes were hooked on his body. Sure, there were some healed scars accompanied by bumps and bruises, but she saw the potential beneath it all, even if he was a tad on the skinny side.
The scars were sort of hot. The bumps and bruises would fade in time, she knew that from experience.
"Have a nice shower?" A smirk played on her lips.
Vera hung her legs off the side of her frame-less bed and checked him out a moment longer before tucking her half-empty bowl away and standing up to stretch.
"If not, I'm going to grab a drink and snack feel free to change then. Want anything?"

Vera Stevens Who is that girl staring straight back at me? Vera laughed... really laughed and hard. For once it wasn't just because she was stoned out of her mind (though that helped) it was because something genuinely funny happened. Danny was posing very girly and acting offended, it was actually pretty cute.
Water? She could do that. As for the touchy one...
Vera grabbed Danny's hand and pulled him to the door. Very secretively, she peeked around the corner and squinted. "So far so good Agent Danny." She stifled a laugh as she pulled him into the hall and then the kitchen. "The coast is clear! Hurry though, you never know when they'll descend from the depths of the Sex Cave!"
Just as she said this, Orion sat straight up on the floor. "What's going on?!" "Dude, chill. Nothing." "Oh, good. I'm starved." He stumbled into the kitchen, "Who's the guy in the towel?" "Danny, but I like to call him New Kid. He's the new roommate as of like, an hour ago." "I always miss all the fun..." He grabbed some food and a Coke and slumped back to his room, probably to pass out again.

Vera Stevens Who is that girl staring straight back at me? "New Kid. I like it." Vera turned to see Danny back inside. Damn, kid was quick. "I'm glad. It can be your nickname 'round here, if you'd like." Vera giggled softly as he walked over to her.
A scratch? Her eyes weren't really focused on looking for a scratch at first. He was so sculpted, but not in the 'I work out way to ******** much' way. No, it was more natural, she found it quite alluring.
Or maybe it had just been too long since she had someone so soft hearted... so, not drunk? Not high? Not... awful?
Someone needed another bowl. But when she really looked at more than just his amazing body, she found a pretty deep scratch. "Sweets, its more than a scratch. s**t, it's like a gash. Lemme take care of it." They didn't keep many clean-up supplies around here, but she'd make do.
Vera took him back to the bathroom and bandaged him up as nicely as possible with the tiny band-aids they had leftover from something. "That'll do for now."
She didn't ask questions, just started back towards her room, his water in her hand and her Coke in the other.
Sitting back on the bed, she loaded up another bowl and inhaled quickly. Thinking too much got in the way of living her "carefree" life.
Pot brought her to life.

Crawling in my skin These wounds they will not heal KatyaFear is how I fall Confusing what is real There's something inside me That pulls beneath the surfaceXXXXX Consuming XxX Confusing Aleksandra This lack of self-control I fear is never ending *~Kissin~* Kiss barely heard the drunken plea for a goodnight kiss as she walked down the little hall to her bedroom. She rolled her eyes, but with a little grin to herself as closed her door and plopped down onto her bed. She was tired.
Kiss pulled out the book she was in the middle of reading and read a couple chapters before nearly passing out and having to put it down so she could turn the light out and sleep.
Her dreams were strange and fuzzy as she slept, waking up several times, only to doze off again and reenter the strange, and often violent, dreamworld that liked to take her over. She never felt well rested upon waking when this happened. Against my will I stand beside my own reflection It's haunting how I can't seem... ...To find myself again ]My walls are closing in[

Ronnie woke with a shake, instantly freaking out about his surroundings. This isn't my bedroom at home... wait, no I live in an apartment now... s**t, that isn't this place either! Frantically, he searched his mind, looking around. WHERE AM I?!
Wait... memories. Fuzzy memories, cloudy... drunk... Sex with a girl, oh Katie. Then wandering off... girl in a tree... From the gas station! Right, okay. She brought him home, gave him a couch to crash on.
Okay, breathe.
Ronnie slowly sat up, his stomach growled like a lion. No overreacting. It literally sounded like a lion, a mad lion. He carefully tip toed into the kitchen, pulled out things for breakfast. It was the least he could do.
Stick to simple. Eggs and bacon. He could do this. Alright, first egg popped. Trashcan. Second egg... Popped.
Scrambled was probably easier. Add cheese. Alright, not so bad. Check bacon, flip it. Take it out, put it on the plate, cook more. He could do this.
Ronnie smiled, he was actually cooking. Alright.
