AudienceHearing Malodore, Jericho looked up at the Plague doctor, nodding to it. It must have been searching for Riley too. But in the very least, Riley was here by her own will and not being shuffled around by the boogeys again. Turning his attention back to his best friend, he let out a sigh and nodded. She did have a point there too. Besides, being out might be good for her. "Alright," he said before sitting down in the seat she motioned him towards. He shifted his wings a bit so he could sit comfortably. Hopefully whoever sat directly behind him was either tall or wouldn't mind the large leather appendages blocking their view. Once settled down, he glanced over at Sparrow as he and Riley spoke about some girl. He didn't have anything to add, but he was curious who he was talking about.

Lark squeezed Kettil's hand with her own. This was going to be just like the old days, just like it was before she'd been sent away. She got a sick sense of joy out of the fact that they were together again. Her father had been adamant to get them apart and yet here they were, thick as thieves once again.
When Roch spoke, Lark wiggled in her seat excitedly, releasing Kettil's hand and leaning forward to point excitedly. Endzela was jostled around as Lark pointed at the purple-haired boil on stage.
"That's Roch, Ket! 'memeber I toldja 'bout 'im?" She laughed loudly at Roch's little zing at being single -- he was such a horrible boil -- before rocking back in her seat to peer at Ket. "I know ya'd go with me, Ket. Best mates're always there fer one another. Much as I know y'shouldn't be 'ere, I don't give two shits." Lark grinned cheekily at Kettil before getting comfortable once more.

Kettil let her release his hand and watched as she pointed excitedly toward Roch as he appeared on stage. He nodded a bit, "That ya did," he smiled lightly. Kettil sounded cheerful at least and there was no emotion emanating from him that might show otherwise. He was honestly glad that Lark had made a friend he just couldn't help the small jealous pang he got now and again when she talked of him.
He swatted the emotion away as he nodded and smiled with more enthusiasm, "Yes, always there for each other. No matter what. Besides if the roles were reversed...You'd do the exact same thing, don't you dare try to lie and say otherwise."
Endzela was jostled and this woke her up a bit more making her make a small plaintive sound. Augh Lark was so fidgety sometimes!

Meanwhile, Edel too busy to notice that Danny was busy ignoring her. She had two wardrobes to deal with and gnomes to instruct.
"The ice flakes are in the refrigerator so just take them out and blow them on stage with those huge fans over there."
"Which is when? *hic*"
"Act three!" she exclaimed softly, her attention now drawn to Roch as he made his way on stage for the introduction. The ghoul continued to multitask as he spoke, ceasing all activity when she heard him say- Did he just? Yea he did. But hey, there could be a fair number of ghouls out there that would fall for the musically talented type. Roch definitely was, with this score.
Speaking of which, the ghoul had just set the score sheets on the stand and taken her violin out to squeeze in a quick few warm up notes when the overture blasted out at the audience. The gnome in charge of the second violin simply lawled around listlessly, which made her wonder if he had practiced at all. She could only hope he did.

AudienceJove slipped in not long after the play's introduction. It had taken him a little longer than expected to get to the auditorium, with his limp and his aching side. But his tail gave a little wag as he heard Roch's guitar, and he trotted awkwardly down the aisle to find a seat. It didn't take him long, he spotted a big red hat, dark tentacles... and Sparrow! Near an empty seat! The pup limped over, his eyes glowing in the dim light, and then he peered down the row. It might be awkward passing the plague veterinarian with the bruises visible on his cheek, but against his bright eyes they might not draw any attention. With a bashful expression he started scooting into the row, trying to be as small and unobtrusive as possible.

Sammy slipped into her cloak again tugging the hood up high before slipping a mask over her face, it only covered half, in this case above her nose like a long hooked rat nose, she spun around cackling as the tail flickered out from the belt around her waist beneath the cloak.
"Man I make such a badass-bad-guy." Peeking slightly around the side of the curtains trying to see the crowd she looked back to the others, "So when will we be starting guys?"

Where...where was Mort? He was supposed to come and read lines with Chuppi, wasn't he? The monster looked at her phone and thought about punching in another text, wondering if perhaps she was over thinking things. It wasn't like they'd sworn to one another to work together right before, but it hadn't been like Mort to just break a promise.
she would have stewed in her thoughts if she hadn't heard Sam speak, and it nearly caused her to squeak. "Um, ahh....when...whenver Mot starts the story?"

"Y'know I would, Ket." She grinned again, flicking his nose this time, though gently. Her eyes widened suddenly as if she realized something. Lark slapped her palm to her forehead, and at that instant Ben appeared in the aisle next to Kettil. Lark beamed at her familiar, squealing when he finally locked his eyes on Kettil's face.
"Kettil! S'at you?! Bloody oath, boil! What're y'doin' 'ere?!" The boomer did not hesitate to nuzzle Kettil's shoulder and cheek, huffing happily into the muut's ear.
"Ket's enrolled, Ben! Fer as long as we got, anyway." Lark bounced happily in her seat, jostling Endzela in the process. "We're all t'gether again!"

Despite everything, Lizzy found that she needed some 'normal' in her life, which might be why she decided to head down to the school play; besides, many of her friends, old and new, were part of the cast! With any luck, this would not be like last year's play, where there was more drama on the floor than on the stage... Speaking of which...
"Hey Riley!" She hadn't had the chance to speak to the mindflayer since that day, where she looked so lifeless even after waking up; it was a real relief to see her up and about, "Hey Jericho, Malodore!" She was no longer pretending to be happy, but she had reached that point where she was pretty contented... As long as Mac doesn't sit near her or appear here with Amphi.
That would probably cause her emotions to crash. Again.
"Hey Jove!" She noticed the shorter boil making his way down the roll, and offered him a wave before settling down behind Riley- Uh, okay, bad idea. Why must everyone be so tall? Instead, she found herself climbing over the seat beside Jericho and settling there, blushing at the rather unladylike thing she did; she just didn't feel like going all the way around the seats...

Zar had been backstage for a while. Even though his part didn't entail a great deal, even though he wouldn't be on until fairly late in the play itself, he was still there at the very outset. He was currently quietly feeling as if he was on death row, the weight of the world on his shoulders, utterly convinced that he was going to mess this up for everyone and then some. And to make matters worse, he had to wear..well he wasn't sure what to call his costume. All he knew was it certainly wasn't a suit. In fact it looked more like a dress than anything else. So not only was he expecting to give up what little dignity he possessed, he was going to have to do it. In a dress. With feathers tied over the paper of his wings.
And so it was he was simply sitting on one of the chairs backstage, holding his outfit gently in his claws, staring at the floor as he wrestled with whatever mad and feral sort of boldness that had gotten him to this point and wishing rather sternly that he had his mother's sense of precence. She'd be able to do this easily. And would probably do it wearing next to nothing too.
But he couldn't even see without his glasses and he was going to have to take them off to be a little more convincing, it'd be ..interesting.
Perhaps he'd only need therapy for a few years rather than decades.

"No reason to be nervous. Why be nervous? It`s just everyone in the whole school waiting on me to not mess up. I wont mess up. I practiced this for days. I`m good. I`m calm I`m---"His head snapped up as Roch began introducing everyone, fear building up in his chest. Crap! It was soon! Once Roch began to play his music, Mot took in a deep breath. Calmly, he brushed back his hair with a hand, then made his way onto the stage, his spurs clicking audibly until he stopped center stage and turned to face the----OH JACKING HELL SO MANY PEOPLE SINCE WHEN WAS THERE SO MA----ahem... Mot put on his brightest smile, his hands clasping behind his back. "Our story begins at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Syberhouse. This night, they hold a Christmas gathering for good little ghouls and boils. The parents are mingling among each other, and the children play, eagerly awaiting the time when they may receive their gifts. Everyone is happy, excited. It is a wonderful night... "The grim reaper stepped off to the side of the stage. His part was done. Now to wait for Xiu and Riyo to do their thing.

AUDIENCEBul sat himself quickly before the show got too far along, sneaking in with his tail dragging on the ground and having to crawl on all fours to avoid standing in too many people's way. Spotting Jericho and Riley he made a beeline for where they sat; seeing as it was better than sitting by nobody. "Hi guuuuysssss", he hissed/whispered quietly. "Made it just in time-" The boil tried to tuck his tail under the seat the best he could while he made sure nobody was sitting directly behind him, lest they want to stare at the back of his head the entire time.

Riley gave a warm, affectionate nod and expression to all of the friends that came to say hello. Lizzy, Bul, Mitsu, even Jove as he snuck by. She whispered a soft Good evening to all of them in turn, as it was only in their minds and she could get away with doing so despite the play about to start. She did not want to be rude and start conversations while Mot was on the stage, but she ached to reach out and speak. She had been alone for too long with her own thoughts. She felt disconnected.
Her eyes rested firmly on Mot, finally, listening intently. He was doing a lovely job.
One clawed hand remained in Malodore's claws. The other slipped into Jericho's. She settled in, ready to enjoy a quiet, calm show. Nothing like the last play, she hoped.

The play was still full speed ahead and the opening was on schedule. Damien didn't want to pass up the opportunity to see it and cheer/laugh at his friends in the production. How could he not see it?
It didn't take the hell-hound long to get to the building and weave past the slow trickling of students at the concession stand. A tug of caramel popcorn was all he needed along with a cup of cider and he was happily strolling into the theater and walking softly down the aisle. his ears heard the far too casual Roch yapping away while he had his 15 minutes in the spotlight and rolled his eyes at the boil. it was far too early for Demi to start throwing popcorn around willy nilly.
The auditorium still had plenty of space, but the little cluster of students of various sizes caught the canines eyes and the scents that came to him was a even better method of distinction of who the silhouettes were. "Hey Riley, Miss Lizzy and company." he called out in a harsh whisper and gave them a grin in the ambient light bouncing off the stage and nodded toward Malodore and Jericho. "Hope ya don't mind if I sit behind y'all." he said with a private smirk.
It was so nice to not have to sit in front due to his lack of height, it was like a personal goal that was reached. Speaking of height, the smaller ears of Jove came into view that had Demi tugging on them gently from behind. "hey buddy, glad to see you're here too!" puppy bro's forever, that was what they were.
The subtle tune up from the other instruments that didn't sound like Roch trying to kill a cat came up to his twitching ears and made the hound fall silent in his seat, save for the occasional munching noises. "You guys want some popcorn?"
