I told you I'm bad at rolling! scream Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 23 AC Roll: 8 Attack Unsuccessful Enemy: Zero Zombie Army HP: 23 Daily Roll: 2 of 2 When the zombies saw that Kenrick had put his sword away, they picked up Shmoo and ran as fast as they could. Kenrick was even more stunned than before. That was not what I thought would happen! He chased after the conniving zombies.

Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 23 AC Roll: 8 Attack Unsuccessful Enemy: Zero Zombie Army HP: 23 Daily Roll: 1 of 2 The zombies didn't seem like it at first, but they sure could run fast. Much faster than Kenrick could run. "Curse these dice rolls!" Kenrick muttered under his breath.

Enemy: Zero Zombie Army Ac: 13 HP: 23 AC Roll: 4 Attack Unsuccessful Enemy: Zero Zombie Army HP: 23 Daily Roll: 2 of 2 No matter how fast Kenrick thought he was, he was still no match to the turbo-charged zombies. Shmoo could barely keep her eyes open, they ran so fast! She reached for her sword, but it was not in its scabbard. Things were going from bad to worse!

ShmooKooClock *Kenrick threw the dice at the zombies* Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 23 AC Roll: 20 Attack Successful Enemy: Zero Zombie Army HP: 11 Daily Roll: 1 of 2 Using all his frustration, Kenrick threw the roleplay dice at the zombies. Miraculously, the dice hit the leading zombie in the head and knocked it out cold. With the formation thrown off, the zombies tumbled to a stop with Shmoo landing safely to the side. Kenrick ran to her side. "Are you hurt?" asked Kenrick. "I'm fine," replied Shmoo. "Nice dice roll (and throw,)" Shmoo smiled. Kenrick smirked and turned away. "We need to retrieve your sword," he said dashing off.

Enemy: Zero Zombie Army AC: 13 HP: 11 AC Roll: 14 Attack Successful Enemy: Zero Zombie Army HP: 0 Daily Roll: 2 of 2 After returning to the dead end, it was simple enough to find the sword. Shmoo retrieved it and turned to the remaining zombies. "Akyubon!" she cried. Once again, as it did before, the sword grew hot and began to glow. The beam sliced through the zombies and they dissolved. Kenrick stared at Shmoo in astonishment. "A-Akyubon?!" he stuttered. "What's the matter?" "Tell me, what is the name of your sword? Do you know?" "The teller said that its name was Demon's Wrath," Shmoo stated and looked down at the unusual blade. "That makes sense. Akyubon was a demon who dealt blood shed for a millennia. The first Nuisance Hunters gathered together and defeated him. The weapon he used those many years ago is the same as what you are holding now." Shmoo practically dropped the sword. "Then this really is a demon's blade?! Does that mean I'm corrupted?!" Shmoo panicked. "Not so," Kenrick responded calmly, "The sword does what the wielder wills it. Your intentions are just, therefore, the sword is just. Demon names command power. Using the previous owner's name commanded the sword to unleash its full potential." Annoying laughter sounded behind them. "So, you are the ones who are spoiling my delicious plan," sneered the voice. Kenrick and Shmoo turned. Standing behind them was none other than Zero Omega!

You're the one who is stealing everyone's sweets." "I'd appreciate not bringing that up," Zero said, pretending to clean his ear. Kenrick did not say a word but stood at the ready; prepared for an attack. "Don't you have a heart? Children have been crying and their parents have not been able to soothe them, because of you!" "Boo hoo. They miss having cavities that much, do they?" Zero sneered and took a step closer the duo. "I've seen the power you two possess. I'm very much impressed. I've come to ask you to join me in my quest." Shmoo just glared at him. Kenrick stood statuesque. "Am I supposed to take that as a no?" Zero put a hand over his heart. "I'm so hurt. Oh well. If you won't join me, you won't stop me either." At that moment, Zero took a running leap and headed straight for Kenrick. Zero pulled an object out from behind him, but before he could use it, Kenrick swished his sword and knocked Zero backwards.

Shmoo couldn't help but laugh. "A stuffed animal? Really?" Kenrick and Zero just stared as Shmoo continued to laugh. "You were going to attack, with that?!" Zero got to his feet, his face turning red. "You're laughing at me? Just like my so-called friends? My friends who threw a pie in my face and then laughed at me!" This time Zero made his target Shmoo and pulled out another object. Kenrick jumped in the way and blocked the attack with his sword. Shmoo stared in horror at what Zero held. A demon blade?!

Enemy: Zero Omega AC: 16 HP: 53 AC Roll: 9 Attack Unsuccessful Enemy: Zero Omega HP: 53 Daily Roll: 1 of 2 "How on Gaia did you get that?!" asked Shmoo, still stunned. Zero held the sword out in front of him, so they could get a better look at it. It was metallic silver and shone brilliantly in the sunlight. "Like it? I found it in a sword shop." Just like I did, thought Shmoo. Kenrick maneuvered his sword so it could be be appraised as well. "I got mine from my boss. All the Nuisance Hunters have one," he said. He glanced at Zero. "I could tell you had one by the aura that surrounds you." Zero smirked. "I'm impressed. You are indeed talented." He leaned forward. "Would you like to learn the name of my sword?" Zero closed his eyes and Kenrick tensed. "Deimo!" As quick of a flash, Kenrick grabbed Shmoo around the waist and leapt out of the way. A black bolt of lightning hit the ground where they had been standing just seconds before.
