schoogie
o_O burning heat, spin the disc, twilight zone, afronova.......

its an awesome idea, and i would love to see it done, but in reality, a list of songs from a small group on a gaia forum isnt going to convince a multi-million dollar video game company to produce a new game to distribute across noth america......

so. should i contact Naoki Maeda About this?(the ddr all stars game)

Good luck finding him, he doesn't care about DDR anymore anyway

Naoki cares, its just that he's got something going just as good for him as the DDR series. He'll be back eventually, he loves what he does for a living with Konami. As for all the ludicrus suggestions, meh, we never know really. They're nice ideas and they can pretty much come true with Stepmania so I don't see how they can be all that difficult in the first place.

My suggestion would be to post this somewhere were the staff regularly trolls for information (DDRFreak or even Konami's own message board).

Sounds like a cool idea to me. Even though I already have the imported DDR Extreme fro PS2, here are some songs I would like to have on a US home mix:

20, November
321 Stars
A
Across the Nightmare
Aoi Shoudou
Bag
Be Lovin
Burning Heat!
Butterfly
Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Mix)
Candy (both lyrical and non-lyrical)
Can't Stop Falling in Love -Speed Mix-
Daikenkai
Dance Dance Revolution
Drifting Away
Drop the Bomb -System S.F. Mix-
Dynamite Rave
Graduation ~Each Tomorrow~
Heaven is a '57 Metallic Grey (Gimmix)
Irresistablement
Kakumei
Leading Cyber
Matsuri Japan
Rhythm and Police
Sakura
Sana Morrette Ne Ente -B.L.T Style-
Speed Over Beethoven
Sobakasu Freckles
Something Wonderful
Starmine
Sweet Sweet Love Magic
Tomorrow Perfume
Tsugaru -Apple Mix-
V
Xenon

There are more, but this is already taking up way too much room already.

they should make a ddr where you can download songs into the game and then add steps into it, like a more advanced version of the create mode. i think that would be fun, and then you could listen to YOUR ACTUAL fav songs, not just your favs on ddr xp

Sort of........

Naoki still loves DDR, but the problem is that Konami doesn't really care about it anymore. I'm sure if given the opportunity he'd want to make a new mix, but otherwise he's busy enough doing music for IIDX and other Bemani games. At the premiere of Festival Aaron (from AIJ) interviewed one of the Konami high-ups about a new arcade mix, and they responded saying they have no plans for one. Of course, this doesn't mean too much, because even if there was a new mix coming out they sure wouldn't tell anyone until officially announced.

We have to look at these matters in the context of money. As long as there is a profit to be gained with the DDR series (as well as the rest of the bemani series), then there is still going to be mixes whether or not they are arcade released. Sure arcade mixes are nice to see and play outside of the home but if the series becomes strictly a home series then at least its still there.

You said if given the opportunity, he'd like 2 make a new mix. Lets give him that opportunity. if anyone know how 2 reach him, let me know.

REMINDER: You have until the 26th to get all of your songs in. It is 19th. you have a week to get in all of your posts. otherwise, you'll be left out. Ya snooz ya looze.

Uh, as far as I know unless you're close to staff members of Konami I'm sure that there isn't a public way to contact him unless going though the system until you're transfered to the proper department. This suggestion will probably just be handled by someone who works in PR.
