Eventually, Dr. Crane's laughter died down. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "A couple more, dearie," Joker told Rosie, smiling, but still looking at the screens themselves.

As the laughter died down, Gossamer began to relax. She looked up at the man stringed up from the ceiling, and finally found a scarecrow rather than the purple and white figure. She let out a shaky sigh, then stood straight again. "Alright...." she said quietly. "Let's get this over with."
Sapphire gave her a slow nod, then turned and looked for the door around the dark room. Or...something to indicate what was going to happen next.

The door itself was almost immediately evident, with a giant green question mark painted on it.

Both women found the door and stared at it for a long moment. They exchanged a glance at each other, then Gossamer straightened herself out and started for the door first. Sapphire hesitated, then followed after her.
Gossamer kept her eyes on the large green question mark as she approached the door. Then stopped and stared at it for a moment. She had no idea what the marking was for or meant. But....suppose they were going to find out. She still wasn't willing to use magic to find out.
Hesitantly, she took hold of the doorknob to open the door.

The door, still unopened, gave no other clue than the question mark. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Scarecrow looked down at the two women, singing, "And if that horse and cart break down..."

Gossamer's grip on the door tightened as the man started singing again, and she shot a loathing look up at the man. Sapphire placed a hand on her shoulder and nudged it forward. With a growl of anger, she pushed the door open and marched inside.

"...Well, you'll still be the sweetest little baby in town..." the Scarecrow said, with a few chuckles emerging from his mouth afterwards. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The room looked more like a room within a room. That's the only thing it could be, as small as it was. It almost looked like the walls were made of glass. It was plexiglass, actually, but it looked the same. There were no lights on in either the little room or the larger room that it was in. The whole thing looked dark.

Gossamer's scowl grew, and she tried to take a deep, calming breath. It didn't work. If she did make it through this, she was going to find this man again. And she was going to enjoy pulling his voicebox out of his throat.
She took a few steps into the room before she realized just what the room was like. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to look at Sapphire.
Sapphire had stepped inside as well, but upon seeing the glass walls, she left the door open right behind her. She really didn't like the look of this, so she wasn't about to just close the door. If it was closing, the door would have to close on it's own.

((Enter Arell & maybe Aiden from the outside))
The front door breached, Arell kicked the door to the side and entered. Keeping the sawed-off in his hands and loaded down. His ever-defiant smirk never left his face as he took a swig from his hip flask.
"Hey, you comin' or what?!" Arell asked as he turned to face the Irishman for a bit, then faced inside. He spun the Sawed-off, the word "Dragon" crudely scrawled on the butt of the gun. He took the butt of his smoke and stamped it out on the floor under his boot. He wasn't there to mess around.

Even though the two men had entered through the very same door that Sapphire had, they did NOT walk into the atrium. Rather, they walked into a circular room lined with doors. The building was supposed to be next to impenetrable. Weather that meant no one could physically get in....or it was just impossible to get to where you wanted to go. Who knows. They managed to get in easily. Zira just let Savage in after he asked. But Gossamer could not use her magic to do anything involving the building. Regardless, a building protected by a Goddess of Chaos was no simple deal. For those not on the guest list, the entire building was one magical labyrinth.
Unless Zira decided to straighten the path out again. Or the path just kind of made itself obvious.
The line of doors were all different. Some simply a different color, some designed differently, and some had a very....interesting decoration hanging from them. One door had an old snake skin hanging from it, a nail pinning the tail of it to the door. Another door had a half-eaten fish pinned by it's tail to the door. And by half eaten, it was as though something large with teeth just took a bite and left half of it. Another door had a small mirror hanging from it about head high. Another door had a marionette handle and broken strings hanging from it. Yet another was riddled with bullet holes. Another door had a noose hanging from the top of it. Another was practically split in half. One side of the door clean, while the other was busted and vandalized. And another door was dirty. As though someone had just tossed mud at it and left it to dry there. Another door had a tea cup hanging from the handle of the door. Another door had a hazy grouping of palm trees in the middle of a desert painted onto it. Another had clocks hanging all over it. Another had a small vampire bat hanging from a pole sticking out of the door. Another door had scratch marks all over it. As though some large animal with strong limbs had used it to sharpen it's claws. Another door had "K.G.B." carved into the top of the door. Another door had a purple colored knights helmet hanging from the door knob. And the very last door looked as though it had been ripped from its hinges and slammed into the frame again. Cracks spreading from it, up the wall.
Some of the doors may have been obvious clues for anyone familiar with the Gotham rogue gallery. Others may have been far to vague for the hint to be understood.
But then it might not matter if one understood the door or not. They could be utterly misleading once you opened a door and stepped inside. Who knows. This would be a surprise for Zira as well.

Arell paused, looking at each of the doors. "Dis complicates thangs." the Cajun mused, holding the sawed-off in his hands.

[Enter Aiden from the Park]
"Yeah, I'm comin'-- and so's yer mam!" the Irishman joked, roaring with laughter. However, he quickly sobered up as he looked at the various doors. In all honesty, though he came from a universe where these characters were fictional, he'd never read a comic book in his life and therefore couldn't make heads or tails of the clues on the doors.
"Herm... whacha thinkin', boyo?" Aiden asked Arell.

Arell smirked at the yo' momma joke as he looked around.
"Well, we got two options. Fight our way through each one 'til we find de right one, or . . . " he said with an ever-defiant smirk. "Crack 'em all open at de same time, get shitfaced drunk and mop the flo' widdem!" he said.

// try and update this. -.- '' //
Rosie glanced curiously at the screen with Arell and the other man. She glanced at the doors, then at all of the other screens. She frowned, not being able to see any of the rooms that were marked. "Where are the screens for those rooms?" she asked.
"Hm. Must not have been enough screens." Zira replied, shruging carelessly. She didn't hook up the security cameras, so she didn't know if Joker had cameras to those rooms or not. She was just in charge of making sure no one could ruin Joker's fun, or her little show.
Rosie made a bit of a face, then glanced back at the screens. As she waited for something to happen other than the heroes just...standing there, she cautiously glanced over at Vandal Savage. Even with Zira behind her...she didn't feel comfortable with the stranger in the room with them.

Arell looked over at what he thought was Two-Face's door. He smirked and then looked over at Aiden.
"A'right, che'. I'm gon' go through de f*cked-up do'." Arell said and handed his Irish compadre the flask. "Go whup some a**, I'm goin' huntin'." he said and kicked the door for two-face wide open, a gun in one hand, a knife in the other. Come at me, Two-face! he thought and entered.
