Eva followed after him obediently as he moved towards the table, careful to match his pace and not to tug on his hair. She was in the midst of cheerfully humming a familiar Christmas tune when Jude asked his first question (or rather, second question--she wasn't sure what kind of question it was that he had just skipped, but it probably wasn't that important).
"I'm twenty," She answered, tilting her head slightly in an attempt to peek at his clipboard. Eva gave up with that in favour of turning back to the task at hand: braiding.
...Only braiding could only take up so much time, especially considering how deft her fingers were. She finished off the braid, stared at it, and then loosened it and started over again.
Just because she could.

He wrote down her answer and didn't complain when she tried to peek. It wasn't like the forms were top secret or anything especially since he was just reading it off pretty much word for word. She finished the braid and then restarted it and then he went on to the next question, "What do you look for in a guy or girl?"
Jude wasn't sure if Eva had a preference or even if she was looking and honestly he didn't care much if she did. Not that he disliked her or anything.

Eva's brows shot up again at the question. "Just what is this for, Jude?" More importantly, who was this information going to? She wasn't sure why anyone would need to know what she, or anything else, was looking for in a significant. Still, after a moment of silent consideration, she shrugged.
"Not sure, to be honest. Someone..." She furrowed her brows as she concentrated on the braid, "He has to..."
...Okay, no, she couldn't really think of anything.
"Nothing in particular, I guess. So long as we get along and we work well together." That sounded more like she was looking for a mission partner than a significant other, but close enough, right?

It was a question that was often put to him, "Matchmaking survey that is being put together for Christmas stuff," he said simply. When she gave the answer he scribbled it down quietly he tilted his head back just enough to look at her and smiled a little, "Cause y'know I guess it's important to a few of the higher ups that people aren't lonely this season I guess."
By higher ups he meant the non-division leaders.
"This isn't honestly my style to ask any of this but I guess you figured that already," he said with a shrug before he looked back to the form, "Are you Single, Miss Eva?"

Matchmaking survey? Eva laughed at this, but then she fell silent as something hit her: no one was going to try matchmaking her, right? Because hell, if she was getting asked these questions...
Oh well. "Rather nice of them, I suppose!" She chirped in agreement, "And I'm single, but I'm beginning to wonder if I should lie and say I'm taken." Eva was joking (probably), but she was peering over Jude's shoulder at the clipboard again.
"Wouldn't really say that I'm alone this season since you guys are around, though." Eva added, giving Jude's hair a playful ruffle before she smoothed it out for him again.

He smirked just a little bit as he wrote down an answer though it wasn't the answer she'd given to him. Jude let her peer over his shoulder and even held up the clipboard that had her information all over it. Questionnaire Name - Eva Age - 20 Looking for - Someone honest that she can get along with. Single - Maybe Was he screwing with them? Maybe a little.
Was he protecting Eva from the evils of matchmaking? Perhaps.
Whatever motivations he had they were unsaid as he then rested the clipboard on his lap and sighed lightly as she straightened out his hair for him, "You're free to go eat some food or whatever you were about to do."

Ooh, was he letting her see what he wrote? Hmm, name, age, looking for, and...
"I approve of that answer!" She laughed, wondering how higher ups would take it, "I hope they take that as I'm tentatively in a relationship or something and decide to leave me be." While being matchmade could be fun (in the sense that she always like talking to people, whether she already knew them or not), she would much prefer socializing on her own rather than getting "assigned".
Because that was, for one thing, very awkward.
"Ooh, yeah, I better go grab something to eat! Thanks for letting me play with your hair, Jude." Would a hug be too awkward? Too bad, Eva was a touchy-feely type of girl. Fortunately, she limited herself to a one-armed hug before she head off to get some food.

"Heh, glad you like what I put down." It wasn't like they could do much about it. It was written in ink and thus permanent so there. When she moved to hug him as she was leaving he leaned into it just a little bit even if it was a one armed hug. There was is only so much aloof attitude he could give someone that played with his hair on what now seemed to be a regular basis at least every time she noticed him.
Jude watched her go and then stood up on his feet and went looking for a new target.

Robert walked into the cafeteria as if someone had summoned him psychically, and convinced him that this was the perfect moment to get a cup of coffee and some donut rolls. It was kind of weird.

Jude's need to interview more suckers kind folk had probably been what truly summoned Robert to the scene for as soon as Jude saw Robert he went right over to him and idly followed after him for a few steps before he finally spoke up, "Hey, mind answering some questions for a survey?"

Robert picked up a cup of coffee, and turned to Jude, tilting his chin up in greeting. "Sup bro." He grunted. He took a long sip of the his coffee before actually answering his question. "Survey? Sure, lay it on me. I like beans. I like George Wendt. What else you wanna know, bub?"

Jude was already scribbling something onto his clipboard before he gazed up at Robert though for a brief second there was a bit of a desiring look at Robert's cup of coffee. Maybe after this he'd get himself some. Mmm.
He cleared his throat a bit, "How old are you, Robert?"

Robert wasn't stupid. (Wait a minute..) He saw the lust-filled gaze at his coffee, and poured one out for Jude while he answered. "I'm 20." He put the cup down on the counter next to Jude, and started picking out some donuts in a napkin. "Next?"

Or Robert could get him some and solidify himself in a status of 'awesome people that I will keep around me always'. Jude wrote the answer down and then made a small face at the next question, "What do you look for in a guy or girl?"
With Robert he was pretty much sure he was straight but he wasn't going to just assume things.

"GIRLS." Robert's hand squeezed his coffee cup a little too hard as he clarified his preference, loudly. "And uh, when I was looking, I guess I was looking for someone petite, sexy, nice a**, beautiful smile, open to being a little kinky." He paused in his tirade of shallow answers, and really thought about the question for once. He thought about Petra.
"Patient." These answers sounded more sincere. "A good heart, and the patience to stick with me. Yeah."
His lips threatened to lift in an echo of a smile, before he focused on Jude again. "Next?"
