...All that and she wasn't even going to kiss either of them today. Candace wanted to slap her palm against her own face but thought better of it. It must have been for the best, because while Candace was biased in believing her choice to be the best one what is Ariane really did have Julie's one true love? And besides she had a point. Christmas Eve was much more romantic than...Julie's pig sty of a room. Plus it have Harrison time to heal up! She would hate to see him kiss a girl and not enjoy it even a little. Even if she was very, very strange.
The cookies were brought out and Candace turned a deadpan stare to Cass. All that chaos and Julie had fresh cookies this entire time?! They were so getting food poisoning. Ugh. "Sure. Thank you, Julie. Clarice said you make really good brownies, too. Is that true?" Candace asked as she picked out a cookie and bit into it. But then realization seemed to hit her as she remembered just how many cookies she had given Harrison.
"Uh, if it's alright...Harrison has already had like five cookies. I worry he'd get sick. I could eat his so it doesn't go to waste..." She was willing to take one for the team.

"Aww, we gotta leave? Right now?" Harrison was too cheerful to be too disappointed, though. And he didn't have to kiss anyone right now or anything! He couldn't think of anything better than Christmas Eve, except Christmas. He gasped. More cookies. But before he could reach for them, Candace got there first. Candace was such a good friend, and she hadn't been able to have as many cookies as him. She should have all the cookies. Giving cookies away was even better than eating them himself! That was the Christmas spirit!
"I had a really good time," Harrison whispered to Julie, and getting to his feet and laughing, leaned into Candace. "I'll see you Christmas Eve. ...You know what, I haven't decorated my room at all, the least we could do is string up some lights, or find a...a garland or something for the door. A wreath. With birds and pinecones and fake snow." He looked into Candace's eyes with that distant, sparkly expression, "Couldn't we, huh? Find something to put up?"

The next few moments seemed like a blur to most of the trainees, because at this point Harrison and Bix's Joy drugged brains combined with the new cookies just made everything spin in Reindeer, bells, and twirling Candycanes, including the hallways, the rooms, though the Moon Hunter seemed to have no qualms at Harrison whispering to her Christmas tree as she waved them all goodbye with a happy sigh.
"Don't forget about the Christmas Gala!" She shouted out in a muffled sort of voice as the four headed down the hallway, some slightly more inebriated by Joy than others. She continued to wave them away even until they were far, far out of sight. If Clarice so much as peeked out into the hallway, she would catch a glimpse of Julie simply waving to thin air in her reindeer costume, sigh, and call it another typical Monday.
