"Aye, he's a reaper. Got an owl as a familiar. Her name's Endzela." Lark ran her thumb over the screen of the phone before turning her eyes up to peer at Roch. "I'unno if he'll be interested in anythin' else? Freya's some kinna reaper too, far as I know... so." Lark shrugged.
"I ain't never been t'any of th'other dorms. I only know Savior? She ain't gotta room, which's weird t'me. I mean, I know Levi but I ain't never hung out wither one on one? And I played DDD again' West but I ain't sure where he live." She shrugged again.

"Then you gotta see these, too!" he said, taking her hand and dragging her along behind him. He headed for the monster dorm, first, since it was the easiest to get to from the reaper one.
"My friend Taryn lives here," he told her with a grin. "So does Demi and Ren, and well, a ton of others. But Taryn bakes and is cuter, so there's no question who I'll mention first, y'know? Ain't it awesome?" he asked as they got to the strange mix of everything building, looking up at it with admiration.

Lark made a surprised sound when Roch snatched her hand up. It took her a minute to realize what had happened and by the time she did she was already stumbling after Roch. It was kind of a weird thing to have happen. Very weird.
"Taryn?" She hadn't really been paying attention, though when he mentioned the others and his reasoning for mentioning Taryn first, Lark shook her head with a grin.
"Never change, Roch," she chuckled. "Y'damn'd shameless boil." Lark shook her head and peered up at the unique building he'd paused in front of. The reaper held up her phone.
"A picture?"

"Definitely! You wanna be in it?" he asked. "Or just take a pic of it, cuz this is an awesome building," he said, admiring it happily. "I wish the reaper dorm was like this, actually. Our place is so boring looking."

Lark shrugged and turned to take a picture of the dorm. It was pretty neat looking!
After snapping the picture, Lark turned to Roch.
"Next?"

He grinned at her. "Let's show him the theater! I'll even play you a song on stage, whaddaya think? If they let us in, that is. I don't think we're having play practice today." If they were he was so busted. "At least, I hope not," he added sheepishly. "I do sort of wonder if they fixed the curtain that Charlie ripped down."
Then, as if he'd just thought of it, he said, "Hey, you got a recording mode on that phone? I could do what I did for Danny for you."

"Aye," she nodded, eyes bright. "Th'theater? I hadda class there, I think. Tried t'scare a ghoul named Xiu -- she had t'try t'scare me too." She grinned, "Neither've us were very scary, too right."
Gesturing for him to lead the way, Lark fussed with her phone and the photo's she'd taken. Would Ket like them? Lark hoped so. After all, if he was going to come to the school against her better wishes, well... he might as well have a visual as to what he was getting into, right?
"Can't wait t'hear y'play," she added, shoving her phone into her pocket.

"You still haven't heard me play, have you?" he asked, looking a bit surprised. "We'll fix that!" He headed for the theater, pointing things out as they went along, then grinning as they went into the building. It was empty, dark, and a bit eerie. "Man this place has atmosphere," he said as he looked around. "And I noticed it had great acoustics," he added, heading for the steps that led up to the stage.
"There's a chance," he told her, "that you're gonna have nightmares. Probably more than a chance, but I might be able to help with that before it starts. C'mere, and get your phone out."

When he mentioned nightmares, Lark doubted that it could get any worse than the nightmares she'd already been having. They'd been terrible things, and in them she watched Ben disappear over and over and over again. It had been horrible, to say the least, and each time that she had to relive it she woke up in tears. She didn't want to mention that to Roch, though.
"I ain't heard y'play yet," she affirmed softly, digging her phone out of her pocket. "I like it here." Moving to the stage, Lark fussed with her phone for a minute until she'd activated the camera.

"This one might help," he said, bringing his guitar into his arms, tuning it and starting the soft strains of a song he'd been playing pretty often lately. It was peaceful, quiet, and gentle. It seemed to echo gently through the room, coming from all around instead of just from his guitar.

Lark sat down on the floor of the stage, crossed her legs, started recording on her phone and just kind of ... closed her eyes. It was beautiful in a heart-wrenching sort of way. Each chord thrummed through her as she listened, and it almost felt like the music surrounded her. It was an amazing experience, and as Roch finished the song, Lark opened her eyes to watch him play to the finish.
She smiled brightly when he struck that last note.
"Most beautiful thing I ever heard," Lark whispered.

He grinned at her. "Before you go to bed," he told her, crouching down next to her, "play that after doing all the stuff you usually do. It might help you sleep better. Also, picture yourself in the place you want to be most, okay?" he said. "I can't teach you to be a lucid dreamer, but hopefully that can help you out. Another thing, you said you met Xiu, right? Well she's a baku. She specializes in sleep. You might go ask her about some ways she could help, okay?" Then he stood. "Now let's speed it up," he said, starting the song that always made him think of Demi..

Lark hadn't even thought of using the song before she went to sleep, but then again she didn't know what kinds of effects his weapon might have on her. It was super sweet of him to play that song for her first and then to offer her that tidbit of advice? Lark beamed at him.
"Xiu can help w'that kinda thing?" She looked thoughtful. Lark didn't know Xiu well, but she doubted it would be hard for her to look the ghoul up.
When Roch started playing the next song, Lark couldn't help but bob to the beat. It was right bitchin'! She even lifted her hands as if she held a guitar there and rocked that air guitar like she held one in her hands.
"S'good!" She gave a shout of laughter and clapped her hands once he'd finished. "Yer amazin'!"

He was looking at the guitar, a frown on his face. "Jack, the old man was right, I am sliding," he muttered. Then he shook his head and gave her a grin. "Thanks," he said. "I try. Now what else should we send him pictures of? I'd say Ben, but--"
He looked at her. "You sure you don't want to try with someone to be there with you?"

Lark scowled and then promptly ignored his second question.
"I'unno," she answered in reply to his first question, "I hate t'feel like I'm keepin' ya from somethin'. If y'got somethin' else ya'd rather be doin, y'ain't gotta babysit me, Roch." Her lips upturned in a hint of a smile. "I 'preciate what y'been doin' t'get m'mind offa things, yeah? But.. y'ain't gotta look after me."
