Joltik has fainted.
Joltik flew into the air with a squeal, smashing against the boulder. He fellto the ground, legs askew. Alex gripped the edge of his box, staring intently at the pokemon. He waited for it to get up, but the spider remained on the ground. The young trainer hung his head, exiting the box as the judge announced the verdict of the battle. "Joltik is unable to battle. Dante wins!" Alex sighed, trotting over to the fainted bug. "You made a good effort, little guy. Return." The pokeball in Alexs hand shot out a red beam, capturing Joltik and returning it inside. He minimized it and stashed the orb back in his pocket. "Hey, good match you two. It was intense." He grinned, holding out his hand.

Cara smiled happily and climbed down from the box. She ran over to Dante who pretty much jumped on her and started 'hugging' and licking her in happiness. "Awesome job Dante!! You did amazing!!" The Persian nuzzled against her, happy he won. Cara got up and the two walked over to Alex and Cara shook his hand. "You too. I agree, that was one crazy battle. It was nice to meet you. Maybe we'll meet again some day, and by then you'll have your very own pokemon." She said with a smile, Dante sitting next to her, happy but worn out.

Alex grinned. "Definitely! Maybe we can even have a rematch." He winked. The trainer looked at Dante, tempted to pet him, but keeping his hands at his sides. "But I bet youll be stronger by then, wont you?" Alex joked. Despite having lost, he had enjoyed his first battle quite a lot. This was definitely something he wanted to continue doing. "Well, I will see you around, Cara. Good luck with your journey!" With that, Alex left the stadium.

Cara nodded. "Yep, most definitely on all accounts." She said. She then started walking toward the exit with Dante at her side. She waved to Alex as she left. "Until next time! Good luck on your journey Alex!" Dante yawned and sort of waved his tail as a goodbye gesture; and with that the duo left the stadium, headed for the pokemon center.
