Jason smiled and looked at his food for a moment. "Much better. I hope your right about the not staring when I'm better trained... Of course they might grow bored before then.". He sighed knowing it would take some time to get used to everything before he could relax enough to feel comfortable around everyone. "So you must be done with your classes if you've lived here most of your life."

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki shrugged, "not yet. i've been under special training for a while now. i think headmaster doesn't want me to go, he keeps coming up with reasons to keep me here," like babysit a human for the next four years. "though this is my home, so i don't mind staying. don't really know what i'd do if i went out into the real world."

"Oh. It can't be that bad though right? Your have more experience than everyone else heck I'm sure you could teach a few classes yourself.". At the mention of home Jason looked a bit unhappy but it quickly passed. "You know most humans don't know what to do either so it's all good.". By then Jason had finished eating and looked around a bit surprised at everything he saw. "You know I dont even know what half of these other students are."
(maybe timeskip to a few classes later?)

((time skip to lunch time)) Tsuzuki had followed Jason around all morning and was bored out of his skull. yeah, reviewing would be fun, but right now they were in the begining introductory faze and it was annoying. he'd make it through, though. "alright, let's go eat." he said, standing when the last class before lunch got out

Jason found this to be interesting but one look at Tsuzuki and he could tell the other didn't find the classes fun. "If you don't like the classes.... You don't have to stay with me... I'm sure it's not that dangerous or anything if I'm with a teacher.". He had gotten a burger for lunch and sat at the closest table. Jason wondered if his roommate would ever actually like him. At the moment he had the feeling he was annoyed at having to basically babysit.

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki had gotten a noodle dish that he liked here, "no, i really don't mind going over the basics, but the intro days of all the classes are boreing as hell, not just these ones, you know?" he smiled and took a bite of his food. "don't worry about me, i'm actually looking forward to the reviews of all the starting classes."

 "I suppose it is good to go over a course again sometimes, each year at the beginning of school we would have to review what we had learned that went with what we were going to learn next. Same thing for each semester. I found the intros to those boring as well, most of the time all the classes said the same thing. They would go over the class rules, the homework, and how tests would be taken and done. I guess I find this interesting because it is all new to me." Jason had gotten a bit more used to having others stare at him, they had been doing it almost all day. The teachers put a stop to it once class started, but it didn't stop the students from whispering about having a human about. He wasn't sure if he should be thrilled to have others be interested in him or worried, probably would be best if he was a bit of both.

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki nodded a bit, his eyes wandering. they spent the rest of the day like that, Tsuzuki following Jason around and attending classes. he lifted an eyebrow at a Snake demon that seemed to be staring at Jason more than the others and the demon met his eyes, grinned and winked before turning away. finally classes were over and Tsuzuki was walking with Jason towards the courtyard, "anything you want to do? want me to show you where the library is? or the sports areas? we've got a pool, weight room, track-anything you could need really." he shrugged, "or there is the gardens and the student store." he really didn't care what they did.

Jason was really enjoying his classes though he felt bad for Tsuzuki having to sit in on them and just listen to what the teachers were saying. The guy had to be really bored but he didn't seem to show it, actually he didn't really seem to show much of any emotion since they had met. Maybe some annoyance at being stuck with the human, but other then that it was like the guy had no real feelings. "Uh, the library sounds like a good idea." He had seen a student looking at him and wasn't sure why the guy was doing it. Probably was just checking out the human oddity. However when he saw that Tsuzuki was looking back and the student winked at him he wondered if something else was going on. It really wasn't his place and he wasn't going to ask about it. "I think it would be a good idea to try and get some reading in. I want to know more about the abilities I do have as well as see if I cant learn a bit more then what the classes are teaching right now."

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki lifted an eyebrow, "it's the first day. your practical training starts tomorrow, so i recommend you not try to do anything stupid before then. magic is forbidden save for in the classrooms and the practise rooms unless it is for self defence. just because you learned you have powers doesn't mean you can use them as you will." he glanced around, "besides, humans can be rather violent creatures. your kind is inventive in their ways of killing each other. take that inventiveness and add magic to the mix?" he shook his head, "anyways, the library is this way." he walked with Jason to the library and nodded to the owl sitting behind the desk before taking Jason to the main area, "the books that would help you out most will probably be down this isle."

] Jason looked at his roommate and shook his head. "I think you misunderstood. I wasn't going to practice anything I just wanted to get a better idea of what magic is all about. I mean I was slthrown into this whole situation yesterday and the other students have known about magic. I'm at a bit of a learning disadvantage." Hearing about his view on humans Jason let out a sigh. "Some humans maybe but not everyone wants to kill each other. I am not like those kinds of people. I was... Only violent when you surprised me because that is what someone does to stay out of harm. You did kidnap me, it was a natural reaction." Once in the library Jason started to look at the books in the isle Tsuzuki indicated. He saw a few books on basic magic as well as understanding how magic works. He grabbed those books as well as ones on water magic and the like. A book on the different magical species caught his eye as well. Once he had a few books he sat at a table and took out a notebook starting to take notes on the parts he read that interested him. A few of the books had different ideas on how to do the same thing and he thought that when be was able to practice he would try the methods and see which worked best for him. After awhile he looked up and saw he had been going over the books for a few hours. Jason looked to Tsuzuki and blushed. "Sorry, I guess I was a bit absorbed in what I was reading. I used to do that at school back home too."

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki saw that Jason was absorbed in his reading and took that chance to finally relax. he'd always liked the library, it was quiet and under the watchful eye of the librarian, he could read without the constant whispers that followed him. well, now it was the two of them, he supposed. he pulled out his well worn notebook and starting to writing again. Jason spoke and broken Tsuzuki out of his current line of thought, "Hm?" he looked at the time, "oh. no bother, i was focusing on my own work." he closed his notebook and placed it in his bag before standing, "we should eat and head to our room. the real work begins tomorrow, you'll need the sleep." he gave Jason a brief smile, "just remember, it only helps if it's hard. if you are challenging yourself, then what is the point of you doing it at all?" he adjusted his grip on his side bag and pointed to a small table, "you can put your books there if you are done with them, or we can see Mrs. Gill if you want to check them out," he indicated the owl that was now typing something onto her computer with carefully placed talons.

Jason felt a bit better at not making Tsuzuki wait for him while he was busy at the library. He looked at what the other had, and noticed it was the same notebook he had been working in before. The guy was curious about it but he didn't ask since it wasn't really his business. "I think I got everything that I need from these books. I will probably have to come back to the library again after I have had some hands on experience in using my abilities." He stood and stretched his back popping in a few places before he picked up the books and put them on the little table. "Alright, Im ready to go if you are." He smiled a bit as he started to walk back towards the door. It was rather nice to be in the library where they were left alone at least for a little while. Jason was starting to wonder if his room mate would start to get annoyed with spending so much time with him. "Hey, when we get back to the room, if you want to you don't have to stay with me. I can stay in the room and let you have some of your own free time."

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki was surprised by the offer, "thanks, that's kind of you." he shrugged as they walked back, "but i'm not one to socialize." he glanced around at the students they passed, "I don't really have much to talk with them about, and they really don't want to associate with me." no one wanted to be near the freak half breed, Tsuzuki didn't care to be near them either. most people that came close to him wanted nothing more than to beat him up because of his mixed breeding, but things didn't end well for them. "usually i just hang out in my room, so it's no big deal." he'd have to grow used to not being alone anymore, though. "if you need some time away, that's fine. i spent all day with you, if they didn't know about you being under my protection. they know that they will have to answer to me should anything happen to you." he opened their dorm room door for Jason and walked in after him, "most people aren't stupid enough to go against me."

"Well then, if I am safe to go around the school, or maybe I could stay with the headmaster for a bit if you wanted some time alone. Im sure it isn't an easy adjustment being forced to stay with someone at all times, when you are used to being alone. You cant get used to it by being with the same person all the time, it takes time to get used to it all, and Im sure you would like some freedom right?" He said after a moment. He figured if anything happened it was more his own fault, not Tsuzuki's but maybe his roommate didn't see it that way.
