Not yet that cold here, but it's chilly and you can almost smell winter.It's currently 3 degrees C, and we expect minus 3 next week. I'm already wearing my winter boots and coat,though - we have minus 5 degrees at night right now, so the mornings and evenings are kind of cold.Brr.
I'm surprised there is only one roleplay in the Romance section.I'm having some ideas in mind for a new one - find it old fashioned, but I'm thinking about an arranged marriage type of roleplay. It's going to take place either in the 18th or 19th century, in Russia, Saint-Petersburg.
The reason I can't make my mind about the century is mainly because I can't choose between the fashion styles - Rococo or Victorian.Which one would you choose? :>

Yes, the economy sucks! I want a job so bad, just for the chance to get out of the freaking house, but maybe I just have to look a little harder? I don't have my driver's liscence either, though, so maybe that's why. In my spoiled-Californian perspective, that is human popsicle weather. My goodness! I assume with the temperatures you just told to me, that you get snow (I can has gud grammur) but I want to ask anyway. It's so exciting for me to think of snow. xD
That's a wonderful idea! It's always great to bring historical values into our roleplays. We definitely need some more activity around here.
Um ... -goes to look up examples of both-
I personally choose Victorian, but I'm a pretty indecisive person to be honest. Good luck with creating your roleplay!

At least you're living somewhere outside the ex-USSR range -here, the phrase "economy sucks" really means just that xD
We get a lot of snow.Sometimes,a bit too much snow,actually. emotion_facepalm
Hey, but at least we get two weeks or so free from classes because of the snow abundance.There was one year we had to stay home a month until the snow calmed down. emotion_sweatdrop
We had a bit of snow in the first weeks of november, then it got sunny.

One more question I would like to ask. In all the roleplays I've participated, no real-life pictures were allowed. I'm curious about what pictures the members of our guild prefer to use. emotion_c8

That's pretty cool, though. No homework!
Real life vs. anime pictures will depend on the creator of the roleplay. Everybody has their preferences. If it isn't clearly stated, you can ask the creator of the roleplay. For instance, I myself am okay with both - but some people only want anime pictures and some people only want real life pictures.
Asking each individual roleplay creator is probably your safest bet to find out. It's always a little embarrassing sending in a profile and having them tell you to change your picture! Oops!

Oh I think I need to say relevant things here. So here goes. Okay. I got this. :U
Hola! Me llamo Sammy. Lots of you might remember or know me or whatever, I used to be.. boy, I can't remember. Knight of Darkness or something? Then changed the user to yummeh-applesauces.. then got a new account all together. But yeah. I'm here now!
I haven't been all too active in the past year or two now and I probably might make a warning post about school work and stuff at some point because I have one week to do my science fair project--but still. I intend on role playing again. c:
Call me Sam.. that's really, yeah, nickname, don't really have one, ahaha. I am fifteen, turning sixteen in February though, big day ffff. I'm a heterosexual female, a sophomore in high school, unemployed (hoping to get a job AND my driver's permit come my birthday); I am in the band and I take all honor's classes.. Member of the Key Club (which does nothing but whateverrr), math club (varsity team, to boot), soccer and tennis teams.. sweet life here. I live in Massachusetts with my mom, dad, three sisters, grandmother, uncle, dog, and two cats. Four cats if you count my grandmother's.
I have been role playing for three years. Doesn't seem like much in comparison to other's, but I mean I am rather young still, and craap I just clicked on the fat cat, oh well.
I play the alto saxophone and I'd like to think that I'm well good at it, considering I'm actually playing a solo in our school's winter concert--I mean, out of any band member, I was chosen without even needing to audition to play a song. Sweet deal if you ask me.
-As of this year, I've begun wearing glasses. I finally literally failed my eye exam, and I was given glasses within that week fffff.
-I am a crappy artist, and what I lack in drawing skills and, in a way, athleticism, I make up for in academics, music, and writing. Honestly, I'll keep it this way. I was never much of a runner.
-I'm real good at history, math, music, and English. However, in exchange, I absolutely fail at science. Eh. Such is life.
-Rocker at heart. Rock music is my thing. Not a fan of country or the poppy pop stuff. Not too big into R&B, soul, blues, jazz.. I like classical, though I'm not a big fan of rap, UNLESS it's Eminem. There's something about him that I like.
-I like talking about myself. Can't you tell?
-I'm into video games, music, writing, reading, soccer, amusement parks, food, especially ice cream, lights, thunder, Christmas, action, adventure, dogs. Grammar.
-I'm not into Halloween, horror, gore, angstangstangst... bananas. Cats. Incorrect grammar--it's a huge pet peeve, really. I make grammatical errors, too, but I mean, the ones that make me tick more so than others is mistakes like "you're / your," "their / there / they're," etc. When I'm writing seriously, I have a tendency to use the best grammar I can, and it often gets really hard for me to not correct other people's grammar, just because I feel like I'd be rude just to read someone's hard work and say, "oh, you used the wrong -whatever- here."
-I ADORE Supernatural, Hetalia, Assassin's Creed, and the Avengers.
-I'm lazy.
-I have a bit of a short temper, and if I end up getting all pissy, it kinda goes like.. a big burst of anger, before cooling down within five minutes. I don't stay mad for too long and I barely hold grudges. It's mostly because I'm afraid of upsetting people, myself.
And now that I've just finished talking about my life, let's get down to business (to defeat the Huns).
Role playing.
I can write. I'm lazy, and I'm young, but I can write, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
Due to the fact that I've come back from a hiatus of sorts, I don't expect to be able to spew out a novel--then again, I wouldn't have expected that regardless. Obviously my responses won't be one-liners, and I'll likely manage one to two paragraphs, unless I'm feeling in the mood to ramble. How I write depends on many things--one, how I'm feeling; and two, how much I'm given to work with. It all depends, but I can hold my own.
I am absolutely HORRIBLE at coming up with plot ideas. Ask anyone I know. I never, ever am able to come up with original ideas, and the few that I come up with.. it's luck that I was able to.
Also, I probably will not decorate any posts that I make. It's too time-consuming for me. I'll color it, but you might not even get a picture out of me. My computer can only handle me performing so many tasks on here, and I've already got fourteen tabs open on chrome alone, more or less.
When I make original characters.. well, I can honestly say that I'm not confident in their development. I'm constantly afraid of making them Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus or whatever. I try not to make them bland, and I've lost confidence in making character histories because I have no bloody idea regarding what sort of past they ought to have. Obviously, I will be working on this.
I role play a lot of things; however, I'm not into horror (supernatural-esque things, however, I may reconsider), master/slave stuff, teacher/student stuff, incest, vampires, gore, animals (like role playing as dogs or something like that). Stuff like that. I lose my motivation for things that get too upsetting for me.. it's like a trigger that I can't help myself with. But, anyway.. I mean, I'll join the role plays I can handle, and I won't join the ones I can't, and that's all there is to it. Of course, you all are more than welcome to request role playing with me. I just hope you have some sort of plot, ffffffff.
I adore role plays that involve super powers or some sort of topic regarding reality. I also will role play fandoms. I like Supernatural (still watching the shows and catching up, though, so my knowledge isn't up to par yet), Hetalia, and Avengers stuff; Ouran, Death Note, etc.-- so you can message me for more regarding that. If there's another fandom you may or may not be interested in, message me and ask if I've heard of it as well. Some other fandoms I enjoy, I may just rather do a role play influenced by it. I don't do second-generation, however.
I'm uncomfortable with fighting--as in, two characters getting into a fight. Unless you message me and we discuss how we want a fight to go beforehand, please don't involve my characters in them.
Also, if I type out a long post and I accidentally do something stupid and I lose the post... don't expect me to rewrite it any time soon. I'll let you know if it happens, though. It just typically upsets me and I lose motivation, and it's happened to me several times before, orz.
I can role play as males and females, I don't have much of a preference. I will role play any sexuality--het, yaoi, yuri, whatever. I'll do it, it's fine by me.
Aaaaaaaand... yeah I think I've bored everyone literally to death, now that you all know me too well. Hope to role play with you all soon, though! My role play posts probably won't be nearly as long, welp.

I was in Key Club in high school too. <3 For the most part we did community service. Went on breast cancer walks, packed bags for I-don't-remember-what, did some fundraising. And all that.
