Oh snap.
Caelius focused attention on him and Leon for a moment and he just simply stared at his Superior as he took in the 'retort' or perhaps a verbal lashing or both. The only thing Jude thought was 'leaders lead by example' but he bit back the words and simply shrugged smiling in a manner that didn't really radiate happiness or anything at all, "That might be for the best, Sir."
The idea that weapons training was just an excuse to beat each and every one of them didn't escape Jude especially considering after all the 'caring' words that Caelius had imparted to them thus far especially at one point during the mission where the man had basically dressed them down and reminded them of their lack of worth to him. Yes, they were all pawns for Caelius to abuse apparently - Jude understood that, he didn't need nasty verbal barbs to remind him of that. Still he just tried to wear a brave face and not give the Superior a satisfaction of a reaction at the moment. Not that Jude wanted kid glove treatment but that didn't mean he wanted to be treated as a toy to be torn apart and then tossed aside when there was no more amusement to be had. This treatment was starting to irk him slowly but surely.
He had no questions or any other real concerns that needed attention so he just lapsed into a bit of silence as he watched as others tried to recover or helped each other out of what had happened to them after the pill had been taken. Thus far there was no real harm other than possible mental trauma that could be associated with it. Jude glanced over at Marcus, "Well I guess so," he replied quietly as he shifted as if mildly uncomfortable. His mind was wandering to nice vivid imagination of his inner mind.
Do not want. Definitely do not want.
Jude noted the look that Cass had given him and he just tilted his head in response almost as if playing innocent. Yep. He was a good boy always a good boy. Cannot prove otherwise. Though in a way he was thankful that Cass seemed willing to look after him more or less - it was nice to know that someone routinely had his back. That was the one thing the last (and supposedly real first) mission was good for.
Question was asked and Jude waited for the response and what a response it was as Jude listened quietly seeming rather curious as to what was to be had from it. The punishment for betrayal was harsh but nothing he hadn't expected anything less though most of the punishment seemed rather primitive from the standpoint of how advanced everything else seemed to be. He would have thought that perhaps Dr. H or someone else would have devised some sort of grand torture device or some such but he didn't pipe up anything because he simply didn't want to plant the idea in anyone's head. There was the idea that Jude would be 'volunteered' as a test subject - him or someone else and honestly he wasn't interested. The idea of 'twin' weapons was a rather startling revelation - he would have to certainly keep that in mind.
When it seemed that the whole 'meeting' was over he moved to stand up, "Yes Sir," he said simply to needing to have his report filed in so that he could go about the rest of his time and then quite possibly get his face beat in by Caelius, "Looking forward to it."
Translation: Not really.
With that Jude moved to exit the room not really wanting to remain much longer lest his mouth got him in further trouble as it seemed to be on its way to doing this day. He wasn't sure what'd gotten into him lately but hopefully it wouldn't suddenly lash back at him suddenly. Yom meanwhile seemed to just be silent and observing for the moment not bothering to curb his words - Jude suspected she enjoyed watching him get in trouble in a way.

Bix had missed most of Caelius' speech due to flopping around like a fish but it was clear that the report needed to be filled out and filed. He wiped the table with his sleeve (just in case there was lingering drool) and listened as people asked questions. He was always confident that others would ask the correct ones and it saved him from having to speak up.
He was idly looking over the form when the others inquired about Aria-Red and the weapon. He was a bit interested in the twin weapon idea but doubted that there would be a twin to his own. Wouldn't the weapon know that? Perhaps not. Did twin weapons come from twin monsters? It was definitely interesting but after seizing all over the table he was not in the state of mind to start a Q&A session.
The albino hunter gave Before a smile and a thumbs up, trying to alleviate his bro's worries, as he rose and headed out of the meeting.

Well Damn s**t son. That was all their teacher was going to feed them? Talk about a teaser trailer. Caleius’s answers were more of less jack s**t. But the fact he’d at least answered them in part, that put Marcus a bit more at ease. The part about a public execution however… yeah that wasn’t very appealing. He’d ask for the censored version kay thanks. (Never mind he had to kill monsters and s**t. Humans were on a different level). Twin weapons was curious and as the thought crossed his mind,
Nope. Sorry. Stuck with me I wasn’t think about that. I was thinking about how we might have been able to track the weapon’s twin. Oh. Well sorry I don’t have a twin Thank God. Wait- Quite.
Marcus’s mental command made the weapon grumble. Dis was feeling a bit ignored. Marcus was feeling tired. But.. He wanted his answers. If one failed to give a bit maybe another would. That did mean grabbing his ball and going try and talk to Dr. H. Which in itself seemed like a death wish. Oh well. That was something for another time. For now he was going to go fill out his form and crash. Standing he nodded his head. Reports. Got it. Training. Also gotten. Now… to fill this ******** out and sleep.

Leon would have to admit, maybe it was natural curiosity or even that it was his affiliation of being a life hunter calling out to him, but the thought of there being a twin weapon was both shocking and interesting. How could that even happen, would it mean they would work as a pair or go to two trainees?
You just want two chainsaws. The lovely response from Nidhogg put that ever persistent frown back on his face. "I can barely handle having one of you in my head, I doubt I can survive two." he grumbled out in irritation of the whole situation, and the upcoming punishment from their leader.
There's nothing wrong with wanting more than you can handle, especially in bed.
And Leon could only eyeroll and at the subtle hint that Nid was letting out. "I told you, I don't need to get rid of those urges." he argued back to the dragon that just didn't seem to listen.
Sure ya don't, and I'm not always hungry. The boxer however didn't even give the dragon the honor of a retort, this simply was not the place for such a conversation. What with half the trainees in a drowsy stupor. Not to mention that the mission report still needed to be completed and a trip to Doctor H to find out more about how twin weapons worked.
that sounded like a nightmare, to talk to his faction leader. But for now, it was time to get the report done before he resumed his training.

Twin weapons, hmm? Cass already felt like she had two of her own, though she wouldn't really call Nicodemus a 'twin'. He was more like one of those Chimera-things...er... Twin-chimera..thin...s**t... Genetic reference was made ten times more awkward by the monster name attached to it. But no matter, the thought she entertained was quickly dismissed.
Dismissed with a look of shock and maybe even fear. Truly, Cass needed to work on not fearing her superiors - the words of the undead ghoul reminded her that somehow..fearing things brought them to life. Yet, how was she not to fear a man who was so quick to anger and was so..unpredictable? She bit her lower lip for a moment before she got up to leave, but not before approaching the Death Hunter.
Cassandra, what are you-
"Thank you, sir." she bid, taking a moment to bow to the most experienced member of their little gathering. "For everything. I just wanted to let you know that I trust whatever happens from here on out is for the best." She still seemed shaken by everything, but with her statement out of the way, she moved to leave, not pressing further. The form he had passed out to them still in her hands.
Okay...Okay.
The giant creature had been scary, but now she needed to keep on going and get better about these things. They wouldn't scare her if she could become strong.

The effects of the pill on the other hunters were enough to make Tikaanis really second guess taking one. But she knew she had to. The huntress eyed the thing before she quickly pushed it in to her mouth and swallowed. At first everything seemed to be okay but then something felt wrong.
The next thing Tikaanis remembered was looking up at the ceiling with her mouth opened. Apparently the pill had a bit of a kick too it. The teen twitched her hand and laid there for a moment. Just staring wide eyed at the ceiling. It was unclear to her how long she'd fallen back out of her seat on her back but it was embarrassing enough.
Finally the hunter helped her self up. Most of her peers were already filing out of the class room. Tika frowned.

It took a few moments for Tikaanis to sit and gather her wit again. But it was a few moments well spent. The teens limbs were still feeling a little weak from the pill. Adventually Tikaanis joined her peers shuffling out of the class room and grabbing a report to fill out.
She'd have to fill it out later after she felt her limbs enough to hold a pen properly. In the back of her head Atti was laughing at her.

Caelius hadn't answered her question, but that hardly seemed relevant as he spoke of horrible things. Madison's eyes widened as he described how traitors were punished. Somehow she couldn't imagine a body hanging from the flagpole - it sounded too freaky, too old-fashioned, like something out of one of the boring books she used to have to read for English class.
Tear up the weapon, too? Kouki shuddered in her mind, and wasn't that a weird feeling. What if it wasn't the weapon's fault? That's horribly unfair. We would lodge a complaint.
As if they'd listen to you, Madison thought back with a sigh. She felt rather like someone had kicked her into a wall, even though the Chill was gone and she could feel all her fingers again. She still wanted to know what the hell that hissing and screaming business had been, but Caelius' talk of dire consequences ensured that she wasn't going to ask her question again. At least not right now...
She gave Caelius a wary glance before folding up her paper and standing up. He'd given them homework and sparring... great. Madison stretched, enjoying the sense of feeling in her limbs before turning to leave. She walked out at a brisk pace, just barely not fast enough for people to think she was running away... even if she kind of was.
Screaming. Bodies on flagpoles.
7 am.
Ugh.

Before reluctantly let go of Gale, less because the younger trainee asked him to and mostly because Caelius was giving them information. None of which particularly addressed his question, making him feel like the Death Hunter was ignoring him. Not that it surprised Before. The Life Hunter Trainee didn't quite command attention or respect unless he was being a goofball or making an idiot of himself. Though nine times out of ten he usually was but this seemed like the rare one out of ten.
Training, huh? >.>a
Before recalled his performance and while it wasn't dismal, he attributed it more to his weapon's ability (Vanna rocks, stfu!) than his own. Maybe... just maybe he'll nut up for once and try and make something of himself without the nagging suspicion he was simply setting himself up to fail.
Oh silly Before, you have me, don't you? And you will promise me that YOU WILL NEVER PUT YOURSELF IN ANY SITUATION THAT WILL GIVE THEM REASON TO TEAR ME APART!
Before winced but mentally nodded as he quickly got up to follow the rest out of the room.
