As she began to bandage the ghoul (Xiu had to stand awkwardly to do this to avoid moving her own injured arm too much), her gaze flickered up briefly to catch the look on Mitsu's face. Immediately, the baku's own expression became firm. "Just in case, Mitsu. I'm no nurse--it would make me, and I'm sure aniki as well, feel a lot better if we knew that your wounds were treated 100% correctly." Her expression softened then, "It was frightening watching you guys get hurt out there."
The bandaging, at least, seemed to be going well. She took care to make sure that they were firm, but not too tight. "She should be fine," Xiu answered Shun, speaking a little louder than usual in hopes that he could hear her, "Just need some time to recover."
There. Pulling her hands back, her ears drooped slightly as she knelt on the ground beside the chair, staring up at Mitsu. "How do you feel?"

Mitsu's expression was grim but she gave a rather reluctant nod. If it would make them stop worrying then she would go to the nurse sometime later. For now this would be fine.
Curiously though, Mitsu reached out a hand to gently touch Xiu's bandaged arm, her eyes questioning as she glanced up at the baku. She hadn't seen how the girl had been injured but from the state of the bandaging she had been injured badly. Mitsu felt rather terrible, she hadn't even noticed in the midst of all that was going on. Only now after the fact. Though looking back Mitsu had been rather one track minded. She had been looking out for Shun, scared to leave him behind. That thought had drowned out most other things.
Leaning back in the chair Mitsu cast a small glance at the reaper. The longer she stared the more her vision began to distort. An odd feeling hit her and Mitsu suddenly knew why people took those nasty tasting pills as an oddly numb feeling tickled its way across her being. It was an strange and she would have been alarmed if it wasn't for the forced relaxation of her muscles. Slowly she began to slouch in the chair, her head tilting back to look at Xiu. The lycan's eyes were so dilated that they were nearly black as she focused on Xiu's face. Seemed she was a tad high.

The louder voice Xiu used did help a little. He was kinda able to make out what she said. It sounded something like that the other girl was fine. Well, at least he hoped that was what she said. This whole situation he was in greatly frustrated the Reaper, but he did seem to be recovering slowly over the days.
"You weren't hurt too badly yourself were you?" he asked the Baku. He hadn't been able to see her before his vision went out, so he had no clue what sort of state she was in. Shun would be surprised if there were many who came away from that battle unscathed, however. Physically and emotionally.
Spotting Mitsu's form slouch down, he frowned while taking an unsteady step forward.
"What's going on?"

At first, Xiu blinked in confusion when Mitsu touched her arm, but coupled with Shun's question, she realized what the lycan was asking. "O-oh! I...uh..." Looking a little sheepish, she raising her good hand and shook it dismissively. "I-I'm fine now! It wasn't that bad."
A lie. She was glad that both Mitsu and Shun hadn't been there to hear her screaming. The memory of the electrifying pain caused her to shudder.
Xiu's eyes widened in alarm at Mitsu's sudden state, before she realized what must have been causing it. Looking towards Shun, she held up a hand. "It's the painkillers," She told him, speaking up again so that he could hear. Frowning sympathetically, Xiu rose to her feet and rested a gentle hand on Mitsu's head. "She needs to rest." A pause as her gaze flickered to Shun.
"You both do."

Closing her eyes against the contact, Mitsu tilted her head up into Xiu's hand almost like a puppy begging for pets. Yes, she was in a pitiful state now, high as a kite and looking forward to sleep again.
A yawn managed to escape her lips before she started to slide out of the chair and toward the floor. There was a little nest of sorts that she had made with the remains of Mot's coat and that's where she was headed. Sweet slumber.

The words he had trouble picking out but he saw Xiu shake her head. Shun just took her word for it seeing how he couldn't pick up on anything that might indicate a lie at the moment. The answer she gave to him regarding Mitsu confused him as he didn't quite understand what was said this time. Furrowing his brow, he had a subtle look of confusion upon his face.
He was about to ask what she said, but then he saw the wolf's figure sliding down.
"Mitsu!" he called out while trying to rush over to her. The reaper moved too quickly and as a result, pain shot up through his body. Letting out a grunt, he ended up stumbling towards the ground near the girls.

What was even--
There was Mitsu sliding from her chair, and Shun also headed towards the ground as he attempted to rush forward while being badly injured. For a moment, Xiu merely stood between her two friends, a distinctly unimpressed look on her face as she glanced from one to the other.
In the end, her concern for the pair won out. "Aniki, are you okay?" She reached out a hand to touch his shoulder gently, and then looked over to Mitsu. She wasn't sure if sleeping on the floor was a good idea, especially since the ghoul in question was injured. Moving towards her, Xiu tried to pull her to her feet with one arm, urging her in the direction of the bed.
"Mitsu, go sleep on the bed, okay? It'll be a lot more comfortable." If the ghoul complied with her wishes, then Xiu would do the same with Shun, leading him to the bed and encouraging him to rest.
The two could share the bed, right? She didn't see why not.

Thud.
...Thud.
Mot had been trying to polish some of his metal accessories in the room below Shun's. His spurs were soiled from the trip, and Mot was pulling all the stops to make them shine.
The first couple of thuds from above weren't a big deal, however, Mot was cranky. Very cranky. He was still very injured, and irritated from his nightmare filled dreams.
....Thud.
"OH FOR ******** SAKE!" Mot growled, slamming his fist down on the table, taking one of his boots and hurling it at the ceiling.

Mitsu had just started to lay down when she heard Shun yell her name only to be followed by a thud. Turning she looked at the reaper with wide eyes wondering if he had collapsed. "Shun?!" Her voice was still strained as she moved toward him only to be helped up by Xiu.
The lycan looked distressed all over again before looking to the bed Xiu mentioned. "B...but Shun. He-" There was suddenly a loud shout from below followed by a thud just below her feet. Mitsu couldn't help but feel the voice was familiar. Ears falling back Mitsu looked to Xiu, to Shun, to Xiu, and then back to Shun. Her eye lids were playing against her again edging her body toward sleep.
Slowly and hesitantly she moved toward the bed and took a seat on the edge. She didn't want to take the bed from Shun, he needed his rest too, not to mention it was his room.

A low groan escaped the downed Reaper as he landed on a tender spot. Gritting his teeth, he soon felt... a.. thud? from below. He didn't know what that was all about. Aside from that, he heard Mitsu cry something out.
"Yes.. get her onto the bed please," he said to Xiu wearily as he saw what looked like the baku trying to get the wolf over.
"I don't care if it means less room for me.. .she needs it too," he said while trying to push himself back up to his feet. His body was struggling against the action a bit, but he did manage. Shun didn't look completely steady, however.

Xiu yelped in shock at the yell from below, her eyes wide as she stared at the floorboards. What was that?! It sounded like...
Shaking her head, the baku turned her attention back to Mitsu and Shun, sighing as she looked from one to the other. She reached out to help Shun up, and then gave him him a gentle push towards the bed. Considering that he couldn't hear very well, she decided to make sure that he would hear her next words by cupping her hands around her mouth.
"Both. Of. You. Need. Rest." She spoke loudly, emphasizing each word, "Why. Don't. You. Just. Share. The. Bed?"
Sorry Mot, if you managed to hear that through your ceiling.

 Mot's eyebrow twitched with irritation. He was far too tired to shout back though. He instead whined aloud and stuffed his head under a pillow.

Mitsu's ears fell back at the yelling. While Shun might not have been able to hear....Mitsu could hear quite clearly. Painfully clear in fact. The bed did feel comfy though, worlds more comfy than the floor. Just sitting in place was making her tired and she didn't even register what it really meant to share the bed.
Once quiet had restored itself Mitsu slowly lowered herself to the mattress, once again her eyes winning the war of sleep as they began to drift closed. Her body was so relaxed now, the pain was barely there at all. Was this what it was like taking painkillers? Mitsu wasn't able to question it long as she again drifted back into dream land laying dangerously close to the edge of Shun's bed.

The yelling definitely helped Shun hear Xiu better.
"I was planning on sharing the bed," he frowned before looking towards the bed. Mitsu had already settled in it appeared, which was fine, but she was a little too close to the edge. Or was she? He just saw a lump at what looked like the very edge.
Letting out a sigh, he carefully made his way over to try and gently roll the wolf further into the bed.
"Thanks for coming by... I wouldn't have been able to really tell she was injured like that.. nor would I have been able to do anything about it.."

Mitsu mumbled softly in her sleep as Shun rolled her closer to the inside of the bed. Her hands reached out lightly gripping the reaper's arm and clung though it seemed like she was still very much out. It was simply a subconscious reaction, the need to hold something close while she slumbered. Shun just so happened to be that lucky something.
