Well, it hadn't been very long at all yet and already Inigo felt pretty useless. His pokemon either weren't strong at all or would've damaged the Dunsparce, so he didn't bother letting them out. Still, stopping the Galactics that came out? Maybe he could help with that.. or at least, his pokemon could. He pulled out a pair of pokeballs and the resulting flashes of light revealed two Whimsicott. "Go stop those guys," he told them and gestured vaguely at the grunts near the Arcanine.

Bonnie appeared, gold eyes narrowed and posture hostile. Stop them? Pfft, easy. "Whim!" She said sharply to Clyde, who turned and blinked at her slowly. "Whii?" "Whim!" "Cawwwt. Whimsi!" The blue-tinted puffball whipped up a Gust attack directly at his cousin, sending the pink Whimsicott flying through the air to land directly amongst the Galactics. Once near them, instead of using an actual attack, she simply jumped on the nearest one that Aulus wasn't beating the crap out of and started yanking on his hair. "Whimsii!" See him go anywhere like that!

Oh, now it was a party. Aulus moved in and attacked first. Mau was close behind. A grunt trying to slip off to the side, trying to avoid the man with the stick, and the he was promptly met with knuckles to his nose. He was distracted for a moment as a pink whimsicott landed on someone's head and started... doing something. What was it doing? He was distracted for a moment before twisting the arm of a galactic back and forcing him to the ground.

"Anyone got a rope?"

Ice Beam worked just as well on humans as it did on machinery. Nemerle was dancing, weaving between confused legs as she fired off quick bursts of ice to lock legs, freeze fingers and generally immobilize the alarmed Galactics as they stumbled out of the vehicle. Hayes stayed further back, away from the action - if he got within range he'd just be a liability, unfortunately. But Aulus seemed to be making up for his partner's lack of combat participation by laying about with his staff. Hell, from where Hayes was standing the scarred man looked almost happy about getting the chance to hit someone.

Now that was nice. It was about time Rocket took the upper hand against the opposing organization; it seemed Galactic was always a step ahead of them, and it was immensely satisfying to catch them so thoroughly off guard. Aila recalled Revenant with a word of gratitude for the ghost's actions and returned the pokeball to its place alongside the others. She stood aside and calmly awaited the orders as they would follow. Unsolicited acts of violence weren't exactly her style, and Aulus and Inigo's Whimsicott seemed to have that part under control anyway.

Mau's call for rope was met with a brief nod and a second of her team at her side, this time the little Spinarak that she so detested. "Bind this lot, would you?" she said, referencing the spider's strong threads. With a sound of utter adoration, Mise complied, trotting over to the unfortunate assembly of Galactics at what could only be described as a prance and happily obeying the order given to him. Ailahuman needed him for something! Ailahuman was calling on him! Today was a great day to be alive.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Sat Nov 05, 2011 8:04 pm

Faleen was surprised as well with the number of Galactics that the Dunsparce had been holding, all wearing Galactic grunt uniforms like the ones her and her team mates had to wear,

Her eyes narrowed softly, plucking up a dusk ball and tossing out her lightest colored pokemon with blackened red eyes.
"Ice Beam" She told her Absol.
Most of the team was already being taken care of by the other Rockets on the team, She was impressed by Aulus taking on the grunts himself, and a few pokemon being thrown in.

Absol added his ice beam to the attack, aiming for any free Galactics, if any, Absol was mostly out to make sure there was enough coverage.

Stopping short by the sudden explosion of people, the agent looked at them and smiled. He punched the closest one on the bridge of the nose. "Sure I got rope. I always have rope."

Shade came back around from behind, fallowing the humans out of the vehicle and unleashed another hypnosis. While his trainer backed up so he could get the rope out of his pack.

"Supersonic.. on the... You know." ...Real Galactics...
That's what Tambrey had said and that's what Lasi was doing. He was making sure any non-taken down or unsleeping Galactics remained nice and confused for the others to deal with.
He had had a little hesitation at seeing the Dunsparce- seriously, he didn't remember any human cars looking like that before. Had to do with that whole mechariados thin-oh hey! Giant airship!
Lasi paused, mid-air again to appreciate that. Having eyes was /neat/!
Oh, right. Keep the whole... 'confusing' thing going...
The pink bat was enjoying himself, but it really didn't feel like much work at all yet.

Tambrey felt a little less than helpful. She could do this, sure, but her pokemon seemed a little... underpowered compared to some.
Well. Training then. When they got back, there'd be a lot of training and maybe she'd even buy some new attacks.
She stayed back from the group of Galactic grunts; no need to go near them.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 05, 2011 9:05 pm

The grunts stumbled to a stop when confronted by an arcanine, an umbreon and the group of Rockets. Before they even knew these people weren't on their side, Aulus had taken down two of them.

"There's people out here!!" One shouted, "We need back up!" The rest of the Galactics inside the dunsparce scrambled out while one remained inside, trying to signal base. A moment passed before pokemon decended on them in a flurry of attacks. The grunts yelped and scattered. One flailed past as a whimsicott wailed on him, two more were frozen in place by Nemerle, even more were frozen by Absol. Any left standing were taken out by the second hypnosis and supersonic.

The entire encounter had only taken a few seconds. It was brutally one-sided. What had once been a functioning team was now a messy pile of Galactics.

User Image As the Grunts and Agents attended to the true Galactic Grunts, Kunai made sure to tend to a bit of "clean up." She chucked out the only pokeball that belonged to her amongst the cluster she had brought for today's mission. She didn't tell the Pokemon what it needed to do before she went to locate the communication scrambler attached to the vehicle.

User Image For a brief moment, a Pokemon that was taller than most people floated into the vehicle. What came floating out afterwards were the few Galactic grunts that had fallen asleep in the vehicle. Each one was glowing faintly of a blue color and as they came out of the vehicle, they were pretty much stacked up near the vehicle.

User Image After locating the piece of tech that was firmly latched onto the vehicle, the small Elite whipped out her favorite tool, a kunai knife. With much ease, she pried the object off of the Dunsparce and it was soon enough tucked away amongst her current possessions. Her pokemon had obediently hovered its way back to her and soon enough she recalled it back to the Masterball it usually resided.

Since she had finished tending to the clean-up, Kunai gave out the command before entering the vehicle herself.

"Finish up what you are tending to quickly and get in the Dunsparce. I will not tolerate lollygagging." Somehow the Elite using such a term sounded out of place.

It didn't take long for everyone to get into the awkward Dunsparce vehicle. Once everyone was inside, they all had the unfortunate pleasure of experiencing 1337's infamous driving.

They were heading in the right direction, but eventually Kunai had to get out of her seat to walk up to the driver and shout a simple "KNOCK IT OFF!"

User Image "You're no fun..." 1337 sulked with a huge grin still on his face. Despite his complaints, he rectified his driving style to something more suited to heading back to the airship.

The ride back to the airship would give the group a much better view of the giant airship. As they neared it a ramp leading up to the rear hangar became visible. It was clearly where the dunsparce had come from.

They got no strange looks as they cruised up the ramp and into the spacious vessel. The hangar was large and well-lit, lined with more of Deimos' pokemon-shaped vehicles. Galactics were wandering around everywhere.

User Image The vehicle slowed down, preparing to park. Of course, the driver was drooling a bit at all of the different vehicles, because they were shiny. Shaking her head slightly, she gave her crew a set of directions.

"We need to exit the vehicle, but I need everyone to make sure to act natural. Make it seem as if you belong here, not like you are foreigners. I will personally poke you if you start acting like you are lost."

With that, she walked to the door, preparing to exit. Before leaving, she let everyone else know they needed to follow suit with a single hand gesture.

Pushing her glasses up on her nose, she then exited the vehicle. Immediately, she spotted a blonde woman approaching them. Since the pink haired girl was at the front, she was the one who received the obvious question. "You are back so soon?"

For a moment, Kunai was playing a role, once more pushing her glasses up over her nose again before speaking a mildly more nasal tone. "I'm sorry, but it would seem as if there is something wrong with the communications system. Once we got over the first hill, we lost all signals. We figured it would be better to come back and have a technician take a look at the situation." There was a pause before she added "Plus there's a strange clinking sound coming from the side panel."

The woman frowned and eyed the dunsparce behind Kunai. "Lovely. We'll have the team look it over and call you when it's ready." She seemed annoyed at the hassle, but didn't give Kunai a second look, or the rest of the group a first look. They were just grunts, after all.

And just like that, they were in Galactic Headquarters, casually following Kunai to the rear of the hangar. The Galactics they passed gave them the occasional glance, but thus far their cover seemed to be working. The area was pristine and everyone seemed organized. There was no time to eyeball other Galactics, they all had jobs to do.

The mewtwo was a mild surprise, but not much of one. He had seen them before and knew them to be part of Team rocket’s work crew, though why it hadn’t simply lifted the Dunsparce to begin with was a bit beyond him. Perhaps to conserve energy he thought as he pulled the rope out and tied up one of the non webbed rockets with practiced ease. Then he recalled his two pokemon giving both a word of “Good job.” They had done well, especially Shade who drove the Galatics out here making the capture more effecient.

After retrieving his pokemon he quickly went into the Dunspace, surprised by 1337’s terrible driving. This was not a man he wanted to ride with again.

After 1337’s driving calmed down he couldn’t help but enjoy the view of their soon to be owned air ship. Maybe he was just dreaming, but he wanted that thing. He didn’t really need the instructions to act natural but then Kunai said, “I will personally poke you if you start acting like you are lost.” He frowned and leaned into Luxury’s ear. “I think what she means by poke, is with her knife.” and then he got up, and casually fallowed Kunai, walking next to Luxury.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 05, 2011 9:31 pm

Nioshii grinned down at the two others circling the people, dropping his doom stare for only a second. Once the enemy was disabled, he was recalled in his ball to wait for further need.

Luxury was swift with gathering her Arcanine, and swift to get in the strange vehicle when ordered to despite her shock at seeing the Mewtwo. No way was she being left behind, she'd never be allowed on a mission again, and AP would be ashamed to know her. Not like that last part mattered, no no no. Once inside, she caught glimpse of the blood on his knuckles and snickered. "Might want to clean that off, Sir." Formal in the presence of her peers and commanding officers.

The ride was a blast, Luxury found she loved 1337's driving, and was sad to see it put to a halt. Her nerves tensed when they drove right up to the ship and up the ramp. Now the really fun part beings.

Sucking in her gut at the threat of a poke, sensing said poke would be done with the knife she caught a hint of earlier and confirmed by Panther's mutterings, Luxury put on her best 'I'm supposed to be here' half-board look. A quick glance around proved the others were readying themselves as well. "Just like walking into HQ, right? Er, our HQ..." She whispered back, more to calm her own nerves since she was sure the agent had his under control. Taking a deep breath, she followed him and the rest of the pack off the ship and into the enemies lair.

Pleased with their work and with a discrete murmur of praise for them both, Sierra recalled Marle and Khalon into their Pokeballs once the Galactics were safely restrained. She was surprised, to say the least, by the sight of the Pokemon that Kunai had summoned forth to deal with 'clean-up', but she said nothing. Best not to display her ignorance of her superiors in the field. Just stay quiet and observe. With a final glance around the area at Kunai's order to board the mech, Sierra figured she was done here and hurried to obey the Elite Agent.

Oh lawd, hadn't she known better than to ride with 1337 on her first mission? Seems Fate was laughing now, as Sierra clung desperately, trying to keep her seat on the way back towards the Galactic ship. She almost verbally praised Kunai in gratitude when the chaos lessened at last.

Inside the airship, Sierra eyes scanned over the wonders within, trying to take in everything now, as well as get the shock out of her system while they were still invisible to the Galactics outside. These guys were really well-equipped, weren't they? Well, by all appearances they were, anyway. Then again, the few of them had taken out one of the mechs with half a dozen Pokemon. Who knew how well this thing compared to the other mechs? Best not to get overconfident.

She was well-prepared to get off this crazy machine by the time they came to a halt. Their last instructions were of no surprise, and Sierra nodded curtly to the shorter young woman to signal she understood, then fell into line again. Casual, Sierra, remember, stay casual. You belong here. Taking a deep breath before exiting the craft, she let it out slowly, relaxing and letting her expression settle into one of indifference. Yeah, this was normal and she spent every day in this place, sure.

She barely let her gaze trail over the blonde woman addressing Kunai, then resumed looking bored as they continued...down into the enemy's stronghold.

Mau thanked Aila as she called out her spider to help with restraining the galactics. Yes, well oiled machine... well, mostly. At least no one got away, and no one died. Yet. But he was pretty sure that they didn't need to kill these guys. They would be long gone before the galactics got free. He recalled Mai, freeing the dunsparce from her vine-y restraints and followed Kunai inside.

1337's driving left much to be desired, and Mau more often then not was bracing himself against things. Hadn't 1337 proven before he was a terrible driver? Why was he allowed behind the wheel again. It was a good thing Kunai spoke to 1337, or he was sure a couple of rockets were going to get sick.

Act natural. Right. He straightened up a little as Kunai walked out and was approached by another galactic. Kunai could think on her feet, and it was great. And technically her story was true. The dunsparce had lost communications. It took a lot of restraint not to go dashing off and tearing through the base, looking for Nyx. But no. This was not the time to be blindly rash. His face was irritated, which was understandable if their test run had been cut short. He cast a glance back to Luxury as she commented about walking into HQ. Now was not the time to make careless comments like that.

Quick and efficient. For the Rockets, at least - the Galactics were left in quite the sorry disarray. It continued to be completely satisfying. When the grunts had all been rounded up and dealt with, Aila recalled her Spinarak and moved to enter the vehicle as Kunai commanded. Or, get in the Dunsparce, rather. That wasn't an order one heard often.

Aila had nearly forgotten her immense distaste for non-pokemon transit, but 1337's driving served as a sharp and terrible reminder. She breathed a silent thanks to the elite for putting an end to that; it spoke poorly of her to lose her composure over so little, and she fought to maintain the cool visage that generally comprised her features. Who had been so inspired to make transportation capable of such immense treachery? They deserved to be dragged out and shot, or at least to suffer the more wretched capabilities of their own creation.

The warning to act natural was met with shift that was primarily internal as Aila fell into the character she required. Fortunately this character was not far from her usual demeanor, and all she really needed was to refrain from letting her attention linger on any one element for too long. She fell in line near Inigo instinctively; he was new to this game, and she imagined he could use even a subtle assurance.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 05, 2011 10:57 pm

Once the Galactics had been tied up, Inigo thought it safe to approach and pry Bonnie off the head of the unfortunate grunt she'd deemed her target. One tiny fist was clinging securely to the poor man's hair as she wailed her other tiny fist (and feet) onto his head and face - or hands, arms, pretty much anything and everything she could reach. "Whimsiiicott!"

"Alright, that's enough," Inigo said as he grabbed her around the middle and tried to pull her off, but received a flailed arm and an irritated "whimsii!" He let go and frowned, then shrugged and recalled her into her pokeball. It was probably better that way anyway - he'd already recalled Clyde a few minutes ago.

The ride in the mech was.. unpleasant at first because of 1337's driving skills (or lack thereof), but after he got yelled at it was better, thankfully. It should've been obvious to try and blend in, but the threat from Kunai served as a good reminder. As Aila fell in near him he offered her a mild lop-sided grin before toning it down and following the elite out, single file. It wasn't hard to act natural when he wasn't interested in the technology at all. Sure it was cool, but none of it was plant-related.

Laughing at 1337's less-than-discreet announcement, Nakura shrugged. "Then take it off. You think they're going to check to see if you have it or not? If you need assistance, I can help," he offered with a grin.

"On the other hand, I'd like to know just who decided your face was so ugly that they had to permanently obscure half of it with whatever bulky piece of tech they had on hand," he muttered as he skipped after Kunai once the business with the Drifblim was concluded.

Absently, he turned off the dex hidden on him. People seemed to be pairing up, consciously or not. Nakura noted that Faleen was the first who seemed to release a pokemon - only there was no pokemon to be seen. Curious. He skimmed the mental file he had on the pokemon he was aware his partner owned.

Did she have a ghost-type, perhaps? Or maybe that funny Unova illusion pokemon. That one couldn't go invisible, though, could it...? "What a shame," he told Faleen, making no comment about her 'invisible' pokemon. "And here I'd thought you'd be tired of all those blonde jokes."

Hayes and a man who appeared to be his partner were light-heartedly chatting away as they had been since they'd put on disguises. It reminded Nakura of a married couple, and he'd been itching to say something about it since Hayes had been allowed to choose his partner's disguise, very much like a wife picked out her husband's clothes for the day.

The skinny man knew better, though. Hayes' friend didn't look like he had muscles for no reason. Also, the sooner they got this mission over with, the better. Something about it bothered Nakura. Probably because he still didn't know why they required so many experienced Rockets for the one little pick-up of an elite. Even if it was from aboard a massive spacecraft-airship-base-thing. The larger it was, the easier it seemed it would be to slip in unnoticed and infiltrate their ranks.

So, they were going to hijack a Galactic vehicle, were they? That was interesting, he supposed. Though until the oppertunity presented itself, it looked like they were just going to have to play the waiting game. Faleen said something and Nakura watched her go starry-eyed. Shaking his head, he started to realize just how passionate she was about machines.

He'd hardly actually ever seen her working on them, come to think of it. He could only imagine what new person she became - as if the tech she worked on was what brought her to life instead of the other way around. "No, but I'm sure you do~" he murmured in a sing-song fashion in reply to the agent's enthusiastic question.

Hayes was muttering into the scarred man's ear again. Were they not aware of how awkward that looked? One could only imagine what 'sweet nothings' were being exchanged. And yet Nakura couldn't recall Hayes being so comfortable with his close proximity when he'd first met him. Perhaps the programer had a male sweetheart after all. It was starting to disgust the grunt with how buddy-buddy they were around each other.

Finally, Nakura turned his attention to the young woman he'd purposely been avoiding since they'd been summoned for the mission. Agent Aila's partner was not accompanying her for this particular raid, it seemed, which was troublesome for the informant. At least when she was with Asch, he could convince himself she probably wasn't as lonely as he was. After the bold young woman's proclaimaion to him in his room the other day, however, he couldn't bring himself to face her. Even the mere memory of her words still irritated him.

Perhaps he was letting it get to him too much. She hardly seemed to give him a second thought and she was used to working independantly. Maybe she'd forgotten what she'd said to him. Maybe her definition of the term 'friend' was just as shallow as the rest of the world's and he had nothing to worry about. Anyway, she said she didn't care if he used or opposed her decision. She knew the consequences, so what did he care? Aila's first and foremost devotion was to her work; nothing and no one else.

When the mechanical dunsparce came around, Nakura watched silently. It looked like they could probably all fit in there, but it also looked like it would be a pain to steal. If it had just as many people inside as they did, it would definately be something to take it by force without notice from the main Galactic base. Still, the informant liked their style. Taking ideas from nature and using pokemon techniques on a larger, more automatic scale...though he hadn't seen the application in mecahnical pokemon before, here was a prime example.

Oh, but first the running. Wonderful. Thankfully, due to the regular workouts of running from Shizuo, Izaya had plenty of stamina and speed to chase after the metal monster. Yes, it was definately more odd running in the Galactic uniform than sitting in it, but now wasn't the time to complain.

Just when Nakura was wondering why in the world they were attempting to follow something moving that fast, Kunai produced some sort of gadget that cut off all electrical communications. Well, that was convenient! 1337 seemed to agree, but he was promptly ignored. They still had work to do.

Faleen was grinning again; an unnerving sight to anyone who wasn't used to seeing her happy. She seemed to recognize Kunai's gadget and Nakura wouldn't have been surprised if she had been one of the Rockets who had helped create the thing. Suddenly she was addressing the name of a ghost-type and the grunt glanced around for it, not wanting to get in the way. Nope, it was still invisible, though the damage it did was easier to identify.

Panther released another ghost-type not long after, ordering it to use Hypnosis. Nakura considered bringing out Celty, but eventually decided against it. There were enough Rockets at work for now. He could try to help out later when they really needed it. After all, he wasn't nearly as experienced and didn't have near as much control over his pokemon as the agents and even most of the other grunts did.

Aila let out her Mismagius. Luxury produced an Arcanine. Another agent released a Venusaur, while another grunt summoned a Pikachu. He was glad to see the Rocket with the Pikachu give it a little pep-talk before allowing it to go follow its commands. At least he knew he wasn't the only one with pokemon-training troubles.

The scarred man brought out a purple Spinerak, though his choice of pokemon surprised Nakura, especially in comparison to all the others. Who would have thought to use a Bug-type? Clever. Hayes contributed with a Glaceon to help them all. An Alakazam that seemed to belong to 1337 actually had an ipod with it. An ipod. 1337's training methods were definately beyond the informant. Tambrey called out a familiar pink Golbat.

No, he definately didn't need to call out his own pokemon with so many already out and helping. Some seemed to be a little more successful than others, but with all of their powers combined, the dozen-something Galactics manning the vehichle didn't stand a chance. Those that could appeared to immediately evacuate the ship, only to be amushed by their imposters.

The scarred man was the first to act, wasting no time in demonstrating his expert combat staff skills as he ran up to put a few of the remaining Galactics out of commission. The unfamiliar female grunt was next, releasing a second pokemon of hers - an Umbreon - to assist her Pikachu and Luxury's Arcanine. Soon after, Inigo - a former trainee who had roomed with Izaya before - commanded a pair of Whimsicotts to aid in the fight. Another of the agents Nakura had not yet met was taking another Galactic down, and a Spinerak of Aila's was helping him tie them up.

Uh oh, they were attempting to call for back-up - but in vain, Faleen brought out her Absol to fight. Panther was punching someone. Hayes stood by while his pokemon attacked, and Nakura thought he had the right idea. The skinny informer wasn't too fond of engaging in physical violence when he could help it. He was good at evading and quick with his switchblade, but if it ever got down to bare fist-fights, no doubt he would lose.

His strengths were with his words and his quick reflexes, not his brawn - or lack thereof. Besides, everyone else already seemed to have it under control. No need to interfere; he could just sit back and let them do what they did best for now. He went to go stand by Tambrey, who looked like she was trying to remain out of the way.

Kunai dispatched her Mewtwo for clean-up not long after, reminding Nakura of Tsuki. He vaguely wondered where the legendary and his master were now. Watching Kunai take something off the Dunsparce, Nakura missed what it was, squinting to catch a glimpse of it before Kunai tucked it away. Without another word, all of them piled into the vehicle while pokemon were withdrawn to make more room.

The grunt made no comment on 1337's driving style, though he thought maybe he would have a word with him about it later. Maybe ask him where he learned, if he'd even learned at all. Sooner than expected, though, they reached their destination. Nakura again found himself lulled into a strange state of boredom. Why did everything feel so...easy? It would have been nice to look around, but they couldn't afford appearing suspicious. For now, they just had to play 'follow the leader'.
