 ♠ ʂɑʂԋɑ ♠ ɱïƙᴏʅɑʋïƈԋ ♠ Sasha was simply walking along, thinking of his life and what purpose he could possibly have now. There was nothing out there for him and his purpose right now, to him it seemed, was to survive and fight. As he was thinking, he suddenly heard a voice, a woman's voice. Sasha stopped and looked around when he noticed a figure in the distance. He stared at the blur until his heightened senses kicked in and zoomed in on the figure. It was another human being, not one of those grotesque monsters but a regular looking person. And to top it off it was a woman so she would probably be relatively nice. In Sasha's experience, women were always nicer than men because men were usually aggressive and always looking for a fight. The ones he knew anyways. "Hey! Over here," Sasha said, with a subtle Russian accent. ooc: i assume you're talking to me ;D

Yang looked to her. She hadn't run just yet...must have meant that she was used to the Savages too. He assumed though that his reaction might have seemed a little...over the top but due to his views of the Savages he had no concern for the savage itself only the life that it used to represent.
Yang nodded in agreement...she had a place. Finally not having to sleep along a pile of garbage trying to avoid savages...and...dare he say...maybe even a shower
He then heard her state that she would fly him there, while the thought of flight was terrific, he highly doubted she'd be able to carry him.
"Um...probably more than you..."
He stated with a slight chuckle. His feet lit up in flames and he jumped from the ground high in the air landing on a dune of built up junked material that had compiled in this desert.
"Don't worry though, you should just start flying. I think I can keep up!"
He yelled down. He thought he heard someone yell a greeting in the distance...he couldn't be sure. He reached in his pocket and tossed a quarter down to the ground, if indeed there was a person around they could track that as a hint. Be it a Savage they would be distracted by it's shininess and most likely store it in a pIle somewhere.
"Shall we get going?"
"...I just want to end this ridiculous world..."

Sky's face lit up as she saw him jump, that was awesome. She used her wings to jet her up into the air. She was beside him in about 2 seconds. "Race ya!She taunted before jetting forward in blur, gliding, only needing to flap her wings on occasion. This race will be an easy win! She thought to herself with a laugh. She then began to twirl in the air out of joy. She never have had an air-race before. that was strange, she had her wings for a while. "Hey, Theo, Im heading back early, found a survivor! Out! She said into the mic before screeming in joy. This was the most fun she had ever had. She loved the feeling of the air crushing everything around her. She had to stick her arms in front of her to block the wind so she could even try to breath. She was going so fast. Her wings were hard to flap, gravity forcing air on the top and bottom as her wings sliced through it.

Yang smirked as the woman flew forth. This was most interesting...he had never raced another like himself, and it felt strange that so soon after meeting another human he could fall right back into the methods of communication. Needless to say he accepted the race whole-heartedly. He launched forward jumping from each pile to another surging faster forward. He duffle bag flying along behind him, the tea kettle jingling along in his free hand.
With each landing he took a few steps then pushed even further forward each leap bringing him almost within grasping reach of the woman.
Yang landed on an old dilapidated highway bridge. He ran forward each step leaving a flaming footprint that quickly faded as if it weren't there and as he reached the other broken in he jumped across turning his body to where he was facing down and looking over the winged woman slightly above and ahead of her. His smile pure and happy. He finished the turn and landed pushing off the side of a sand dune and low pushing forward horizontally before catching a foot on the ground and launching once more into the air aside the winged woman. It was just about an impossibility that he would actually beat her in this race, after all flying beat jumping. However something was occurring that hadn't for a while. Yang was having fun.

Sky laughed at him. He was actually keeping up. She grabbed his hands out of the air and shot up to the clouds as fast as she could, keeping a tight grip, not daring to let him fall to fats. He wasn't to heavy, at least she could glide with him."You have to check this out!She shouted with a laugh through the wind before the two burst a cloud. She started to laugh as they did. She stopped and flew in mid air. "Okay, get ready for a quick drop. I'll catch you close to the bottom!" She said with a laugh before she let his hands slip through hers. Just as she let go she pulled her wings back and let herself fall beside him.Count to twenty!" She called through the air before letting out a scream in pure glee. About 15 yards above the ground she swooped under him, breaking his fall and speeding up hers. He probably thinks your batshit, sky she thought to herself before she let him on the ground. They were already at the building. Sky made them fall and glide for about a mile before they reached the building. "I'm the top room, She said, pointing up.

Yang felt his hands taken by her own and flew upwards. As he burst through the clouds he felt the sunlight...warm and embracing. A truly beautiful feeling. He did hear her just barely though the win. She was to drop him..he was unafraid though, he knew that he would be able to feel free as her hands slipped from his he could feel himself fall.
"20"
He closed his eyes and embraced his the feeling of the wind. the entirety of his body became enveloped in Azure Flames the blue shining, falling, man seeming as if a blue star falling to the Earth.
"5...4...3...2...1..."
as she grasped him once more the flames faded and he allowed himself to glide with her holding his things.
"You're amazing! This is amazing!"
He stated as he felt the wind in his hair. As his feet came into contact with the ground once more he marveled at her power. One not based in destruction such as his own but something overly magical. A true miracle of light among the darkness of this world. He looked to the top of the building.
"Well I suppose we should head on up then..."
It actually hit him for once...he was indeed about to go into a woman's room...this was a genuine issue. He hadn't had any contact truly with women much less been in one's room. No! he had to shake that thought this was innocent, for a place to sleep, a place for food, and hopefully a place that had enough water to justify a bath, that was it.

Sky flew up to her room quickly. It wasn't that high, making it short. She stepped onto her balcony, glad to be out of the dust. She leaned over the side. "I'll go get the tea and some food ready, make yourself at home!" She shouted to him before going inside and grabbing the kettle and placing it on the stove. She grabbed all of her tea flavours and some food. He must be starved. She then went and put the food on the table. She then went to her cupboard and grabbed him a towel. He had to want to have a shower, being out there that long must suck, and stink. She placed it on the table as well and tended to her tea, checking the tempurature. She then went to her old record player beside the bookshelf. She found this and some records in the ruins of a city once. She played it and a good song came on, Pysco killer by the talking head. She turned it down a bit so it was more of a background noise. She hummed along to the song as she brought the tea out. She then went back to the cupboard and grabbed some sheets and a spare pillow. She pulled out her pull out couch by the book shelf that was issued to her with the apartment for if she were to find somebody. She made the bed for him and smiled at her work. She then went over to the coat hook and hung up her bag, still happily humming along to the record.

A reply! The voice was masculine, with a hint of an accent. For the life of her, she couldn't remember which. But that was okay. A person, he was a real, live person! Who wasn't a Savage!
She ran over to him, or where she he was. Okay, extra-cool hearing came in useful around now. Vale wasn't sure if it was quite echolocation, but, hey, she knew where he was. She even knew enough about how to look at where his face was, using her favorite pair of (only pair of) sunglasses to hide her unfocused eyes.
"Thank heavens, another person." She said, only slightly out of breath from the run, if at all. "I was beginning to think everyone else had dropped off the face of the earth. I'm Val, well, that is, Valentine. Valentine Deveraux." She pronounced it Dev-er-row, a Cajun name. She had the dark hair and eyes from it, even if generations had dulled the tanned skin. Heck, she'd never even been to New Orleans. But her Grandfather had been Cajun...
And she was off-topic. Oh well. That came with the ADHD. But it made her restless, and helped her notice everything in battle, instead of wasting time focused on what she'd been doing when attacked, so she was grateful. And off-topic again.

The flames traveled to Yang's feet as he launched from the ground and land softly on the balcony of the woman's home. He stepped in looking around, it was what used to be an apartment complex though it in itself was pretty nice considering this was the end of the world. He arrived just as she scrambled to get the last of the materials together.
There was food the tea was being made, and she brought towels which meant there must be a shower in the vicinity. Yang excitedly placed down his bag and reached inside grabbing spare clothes. A Black ribbed undershirt and another pair of only slightly different (mostly because they were clean) jeans and neatly set them on the now made bed. There was music in this place...it almost seemed as if a paradise compared to what had been seen on the Outside.
"I suppose I should wash up before I eat"
he said grasping the clothes and the towel now he had been so hungry he was about to tear into the food with no sense of decency or good manners. When living off of scraps people get that way.
"Where's a shower?"

Walter has ganado "Oh! Sorry, just down the hall, first door on the right! It takes a few minutes to heat up so feel free to eat." She said with a wide smile. Sky poured a cup of cold water for him."Here is some water. It's burning out there!" She said with a laugh. She then sat down and poured herself some tea and grabbed an apple. She took a bite and a sip, hungry a bit herself. She was glad he was so happy here. She was also very excited for when he gets himself an apartment, that would be heaven for him. After all, they did have better apartments because of their positions."During your bath I'll let James know I found you. He is going to be so happy to hear we have another flyer!" she said with a smile before sipping her tea some more, the blueberry taste rushing through her mouth."Oh! You can use as much stuff and eat as much stuff as you want, just don't over eat, it will expand your stomach to fast. Stop when you feel full." She instructed with a smile before eating more of the apple. It was rather good, grown in the farm area of the city and full of extra vitimens, to make sure the people eat less to save food supplies.

Yang was near elated to hear that he could eat first. He dug in trying not to be overly greedy but at the same time indulging himself to actual real food. He ate rather silently and listened as she spoke. Never completely stuffing his mouth only taking quick bites and properly chewing and swallowing them more for his own sake of savoring the food than anything. He took a sip of the water and finally spoke.
"I am sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Yang Kaido and I thank you for your kindness. I truly appreciate it, but before I meet this James person, I have to ask...what is this place?"
Yang said rather astonished really, most cities weren't cities anymore, more just settlements most saw Yang and his kind almost on the same level of savages, but she seemed happy here, and judging by the comm system she had used before and the way she referred to a James this place must have some sort of structure, maybe a place for people like himself to thrive against the monsters that now occupied the land. Either way he definitely looked forward to his shower, however he realized he couldn't allow himself to get overly comfortable here in case he needed to move or there was some other motive behind this place, the woman didn't seem as much a threat, but he never judged threats based on their outward appearences.

Sky laughed a bit. "Well, this is a city! It is one of the few that still is left standing. The people here had their own thing going on anyway and when the first protecter came they treated him like a super hero. So we all are just here, protecting the people." She said with a smile. She never really thought about it before, well, past when Theo told her when she asked the same thing. She took a sip of tea and a bite of her apple. Smiling, almost laughing at how desperate he seemed to be polite. She never was and it didn't bother anybody. Sky began to wonder how long he would stay with her until they got his apartment up and running. Maybe a week? Week and a half? Any way, she couldn't let him get overly comfertable.(Gah! Writers block! Curse you brain!)

Theo raced across the desert listening to the conversation with the guy with some kind of fire power, and prayed or something after every kill he made. His mind raced trying to trace that persona with Protectors he has heard of.
"Hey, When you get back to base take sparky to James, I don't think he is a registered Protector." He did hear of the guy, he was strong and a very unique power.
He pulled back on the throttle increasing his speed even more so. James He smiled at the thought of his name. He couldn't wait for tonight. She was heading back. By now at his speed he made a full circle around the Western City. He changed his course and head back to HQ. Wait He turned back to the wasteland and started to follow the feathers Sky left in her wake. He stuck out his hand and a large vacume like thing grew from his hand ans started to suck up any feather he came across. He swerved to get all the feathers he saw. Note to self, Ground Sky while molting. He sighed and continued on the path of the feathers.
He got her message that she was back and such. The never remembers to turn of her mic. "tell James I said Hi please and thank you!" He chuckled a little.
Ooc:Sorry Guys, Been loaded with Homework, and Was speaking in front of the Human Relations Committee last night. But Now I am good for now. ^^ And sorry about shortness. First real battle? Maybe? biggrin (EDIT)

♠ ʂɑʂԋɑ ♠ ɱïƙᴏʅɑʋïƈԋ ♠ Sasha waited as the woman approached; as she neared he could see her features in more detail. She had really long black hair and wore sunglasses over her eyes. Sasha stared at her a little longer, as he tried to figure out her age. She looked mature like she was almost an adult, but not completely but she wasn't exactly a teenager either, meaning she must've been in her late teens or early twenties. The woman introduced herself as Valentine, or Val for short. "I feel the same way. It's been about a year or so since I've seen another human being... My name is Sasha Mikolavich. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Sasha replied nodding. Sasha flashed her a smile before noticing that she seemed to be looking past him. Her face was turned towards her like she was looking at him, yet she wasn't really. "If you don't mind me asking, but can you see?" Sasha asked as he adjusted his bag and gun. ooc: yay, i was getting a little lonely lolz

Dworgle started to drool and sniffed at the air. He wanted that Protector, or at least a Protector. He looked up at Dulcrai and took the feather. He say back on his haunches and held the feather close to his nose. He sniffed at the air and at the ground and his face twitched. "Protector!" He took off at a slow jog with his nose to the ground. As he jogged he passed multiple feathers that were scattered about. In the distance you could see a cloud of dust that seemed to be coming toward them. Dworgle didn't take any notice his simple brain didn't make the connection that, that dust storm could be someone. Hopefully his comrades would notice and either stop him or storm in before Dworgle could be killed with out even knowing the danger that could be looming.
Dworgle started to pick up speed, the scent seemed to be concentrated up ahead, he was excited to eat. He continued to follow his nose and the feathers hoping to eat.
