It isn't one of my favoret comc mini series' but it is one of the best... Berry Allen (Flash 2) dies, wonder women is recreated as a goddess giveing her the power to fly, Guy becomes a green lantern agian Super Girl dies... there is just so much stuff that had a huge impace on the DC universe if not the biggest in that series... so I would say it is a must read... but if it's between that or Kingdom Come (not Kingdom also written by mark waid) Kingdom Come is by far a better buy quality wise...

That'll probably be the next thing I'll buy. Yeah I've read Kingdom come and I love it [definatly one of my favorites] but Kingdom was pretty much crap. I bought Identity Crisis though because I've heard so much hype about it.

I bought Identity Crisis though because I've heard so much hype about it. Identity Crisis was an awesome series I think... The fact that there was a villian killing and attempting to kill people close to the "heros" in it yet staying unknown for the most part was great... not to mention the cover art throught out the 7 issues...

You can still get them in their indevidual issues at Mile High Comics. Though I've gotten mine in graphic novel form at B*A*M (books-a-million) I also saw it in B&N, but at the time I didn't get it because I gotten the latest Amazing Spider-Man graphic novel and a Batman: Dream Child ( I wouldn't say read it unless you Like manga... after all it's a japanies interpritation of batman reinterpritated into an american format...)

Oh well luck on finding Identity Crisis... It is a great read for a mini series that doesn't exactly hold continuity with any DC comics out side of itself...

Read The Dark Knight Returns over Dream Child... it will be worth it I promise you... Batman is just insaner and ruthless... For drifting so far from the iconic Batman character, it's a differant and friggin awesome interpritation of what Batman could become... XDD and there is a chick robin!!!!
