(ROLLING, finishing post after the roll)
Sorry messed up and forgot to roll.

TABTABMizu quickly reached over and grabbed his notebook and a pencil to take down the notes. He looked around, chakra wasn't really his strong suit and he really didn't want to bother to much into it but he deemed it someone worthy of learning. If anything it could provide cover or change up his battle strategy mid way. Looking over he noticed that one boy who had his head down went straight into his bag and began taking notes as if there were no tomorrow. Meh do we really have to do this? Well he looks estatic. He sighed as his pencil went onto the paper and he began recording what the teacher said. His interest wavered in and out but he managed to get down some sloppy notes.
TABTABDamn this is way to boring and we still have more to take. I thought class would literally just be you know fighting and learning from real world experience. After taking down the first set of notes Mizu layed his head on the side wishing for it to be over. Maybe that girl really was right better to get out of here. His black eyes lookover over to the rest of the class as his head laid there almost dead.

"Notes?" Zigurat thought to himself. The man before this teacher, or rather, this young man, in his beauty, in his amazing smile, in his stunning ability to impress an audience, was a master of his mind as well, despite coming from a clan of dunderheads and nincompoops, here was a man of utter genius. Why even bother listening? His sharp nails scratched silently into the desk, copying the shorthand of what the man was saying, while his mind traveled plains of exploration. His hands sliced softly and silently, leaving the slightest mark, only the touch of a delicate hand, a careful hand, could feel the slight indentation his hands were making.

Meanwhile, his mind ventured into unknown territory, thoughts of what was next, note taking was basic, chakra was basic, he had learned things of that nature as a child. His clan had obsessed over the life force that was abundant in them, and in nature. Perhaps, he mused while his body automatically took note of the lesson, it was because of his clan's affinity with water that made chakra so very important. The water so vibrant and moving, that was connected to them by the spiritual force, his clan's animal nature possibly affecting their love.

He glanced at his contemporaries, his mind leaving cloud-cuckoo-land for a moment, and he noted, pencils, paper, things of that nature. Interesting, how a school for even the most violent of things was still in essence a school, almost surreal how even in an environment preparing you to risk your life somewhat needlessly they attempted to force the trappings of society on their students. Perhaps it was his animal nature, but it almost made him sick that even people who's jobs were violence had to be a part of society, he saw merit in nuance, in culture, in diplomacy, in etiquette, but those were simply niches for which most ninjas did not belong. An animal can hide their blood lust, but no one tells them what blood lust is. School was a strange thing to an animal.

He made no attempt to hide his content, part of his cool attitude was the disgust of institution, those who fought the system were more interesting, the backwards part in the machine gets more notice. He was not angry, but he was spiteful of a system that required him to learn such simple things, that required this need for civilized education. Hundreds of years ago, they would simply be set on each other, and perhaps, it was better that way.

Tenko's page quickly filled up as he did his best to try and keep up. He understood everything so far. It seemed fairly simple to him. He winced as his pencil broke. 'Oh no oh no oh no oh no! Crud crud crud crud!' He searched through his bag and hoped he had a spare. Thanks to his father he had a bunch. He grabbed a fistful and set them on the desk if he needed more. He grabbed another pencil. He was able to understand alot of it but a few things confused him. He couldn't quiet say what was wrong with them. He just didn't understand. His head slowly began to hurt. He sighed and hoped everyone else was at least able to understand as much as him. Though he hoped they didn't understand a lot more than him or he was in trouble.

As the teacher continued the more Tenko slowly began to lose hope. His mind began to drift away before he could stop himself. 'Focus.... Focus.' He bit his tongue. It worked for a moment or two. He began to work once more and jotted some more notes. His head slowly formed a knot and stayed in one spot. His knowledge was okay but this was a tad more than he could handle. He copied the best he could but his words started to get mixed up. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. He tried his hardest to keep up. His stamina was almost drained. His smile slowly began to fade as well.

Tenko grabbed a new pencil and hoped that it would help. As he tried to continue more his brain locked up. It hurt so bad that he couldn't even write anything. His head dropped onto the desk and bounced. The hit caused a thump noise. He thankfully stopped and caught himself after the second bounce. His head didn't hurt from the bounce at all compared to what the notes did. His hand was abused. He had never written this much in his life. He hoped that the teacher was almost done. How much more could he handle? He felt that he had probably missed something important. He sighed and took a moment to look around at the room. He slowly began to flew his hand and tried to work the lock off of his brain.

Kokoa got out her notebook, opened it to a new page and started writing down notes. She didn't know if she would need these notes later or not but better safe than sorry. Most of the time just listening would be good enough for her to the teaching would be enough but she just decided it would be better to do as the teacher says and not cause a scene. As the teacher droned on she wrote down the most important things, resting her hand from time to time, trying not to cramp it up. She flexed it, rolled her wrist around and continued writing notes.

His mind continued to wander and wander, hatred boiling, ideas building wildly while his hand automatically scratched into the desk. But this anger did not go unnoticed by his hand, by his subconscious, the one that worked so wildly on copying notes. He felt his hand sink, shocking him out of his mental fervor. He had scratched too deep, his mind had been too distracted, he had taken too much brain power, and now, for an instant he was derailed, notes lost entirely, something possibly important evaporating, and even more lost while his mind reeled from the shock.

What was he to do? It was seconds, he had been thrown off of his flow so very violently though, it felt like he had missed hours of the lecture, what was he to do? He had no idea, this kind of thing didn't really happen often. It was like a train that had simply fell on its side while running. He was derailed so very badly. It was a loss, a gape, and who knew what he missed while that happened, possibly nothing, possibly everything, he switched his attention, he had no idea what the teacher was talking about.

His eyes went wild, scrambling over the notes barely pushed into the desk, he tried so hard, but he couldn't decipher it! What was going on? He had no idea what was going on, and his notes were undecipherable, not to mention this panic had cost him so much now, and was he getting stares, bad ones, his image could be completely ruined, what would he do? These people had just met him, how were they to know he almost never panicked like this! He felt like screaming, he was panicked, flustered, annoyed, but he was unaware of one thing, he was lucky.

While his mind reeled, his body picked up in overtime, his subconscious recovered, it managed to continue the notes, continuing with the slight interruption, but Ziggy was painfully unaware of this, somehow, even though his hand scrawled across the table he could not notice what was so obviously going on. His body decided there was more to do, obviously the powers that were had no idea what to do, and they couldn't notice that things had resumed. Suddenly Ziggy felt a piercing in his side.

His finger had dug into his side, only slightly, enough to snap him out of his awful trance. His reactions still delayed from panic, he was able to muffle the sudden pain, not crying out, though only barely. He removed his finger, quickly removing a lighter from his pocket, and burning the wound, it was painful, sure, but it did clean the wound. Normally it would smell, however, because of his dexterity, he managed to cover the slight smell with his hand, all while his other hand finished writing the notes, and continued. Since he had focused on this, he had calmed down, and managed to remember, the notes weren't exactly visible, they were tactile.

He licked the blood off of his finger, and ran it over the desk, instantly recovering any possible miss in his attentions, knowing the miss was slight. He took a deep breath, and began to drift off once again, thanking his mind so much for its gifts of attention, and his subconscious for saving him in that final moment. He leaned back in his chair, and began to think again, resting more this time, letting his body recover slightly from the sudden onset of panic that had just hit it. He took another breath, and began his journey back into his mind.

Tenko smelled around for something in the room he thought had been burnt. He couldn't find anything. Well at least he didn't see anything of fire thankfully. All the parts everywhere it would have lit up easily. He grabbed the nearest pencil and began to write. He sighed after a line and started to doodle on the corners of the page. Why was he so bored? He spun the pencil around his fingers and became lost in idea's and possibilities that they showed him. He felt his hand sketch something. He looked down and turned a bright red. He quickly hid the girls picture and went on to the next page.

He managed to relax now, to feel good, and his mind once more flowed so very beautifully. What did he focus on now? He had so much to explore in the world of knowledge. But what topics amused him now? Perhaps, this time, it was composition, he tended to play off ear and simple things such as that, but what else could he do, with the whole orchestra in his mind? He knew so very much about the history, of the traditional compositions, of the basic tricks, but he had never done it before, perhaps, in this free time, he could create a true masterpiece, to write and master at another time, this could be, so very interesting. He smirked, that could be so very fun.

His mind began, the same would the orchestra that would play his masterpiece would, tuning. He found the sound of every instrument, and made it perfect, the violins, the piano, the flutes, the tightness and the heads of the percussion, and so much more. He decided the lead on his instrument, his guitar, though it would not belong in his orchestra, he could think in it so perfectly, he had no choice in his mind, but to tune his guitar, and lead with it, where otherwise, the violins would. The composer in his mind stepped to the stage, making his arrival obvious, he tapped onto his podium, and made his orchestra aware of the beginning of a masterpiece.

The build was slow, almost awkward, what could he do, his mind found the sudden addition of so much, so very difficult, his guitar could play automatically, but how could the other instruments interact, what was their relation? He had an epiphany, and the conductor dropped his arm, telling them to quiet themselves. The guitar came in, soft arpeggios, a soothing start, building slowly, the guitar continued constant, while the violins came in, accenting the 6th note, then playing something for the 3rd, then the 1st, slowly becoming an almost constant accent, then the drums came in soft rattling preparing to build. Suddenly the whole orchestra exploded, triumphant, powerful, loving. The orchestra blasted perfectly, it all fit so perfectly, the awkwardness of youth bursting into the triumphant and magnificent sounds of adolescence and young adulthood, so perfect in an automatic imagery.

Outside of his mind, his subconscious had run into a problem, and quite a serious one. It had hit the end of the desk. Now it was the one panicking, unbeknownst to Ziggy. But it did affect him, indirectly as the subconscious tends to do. It tried to find blank space, but it couldn't, it tried to find another place, it couldn't, it tried to simply etch the notes on top of them in some decipherable manner, but this was quickly impossible, with his mind, perhaps it could, but as of now, it quite simply couldn't. So what was it do? Where was it to run?

Meanwhile, his consciousness was having trouble, the triumphant tones of the song were wavering, the song was changing, it was weakening. The drums were first to weaken, their constant powerful pulse, suddenly falling to keep rhythm, then falling off completely. Next was the violin, weakening, getting slower, falling apart, wilder and wilder, less accurate, then, it was just the guitar. The guitar struggled for a moment, trying to stay afloat, attempting to remain constant, but it couldn't handle it, and tried to speed up to cover its troubles, when suddenly, a string snapped, and then silence. The beauty of youth becoming the sadness and loneliness of age. His orchestra as depressed as his subconscious.

Tenko's brow furrowed as he tried to pay attention. He was distracted. He heard a few of what the teacher said but never could he understand what the meaning of any of it. His mind wondered. 'Why did I draw that picture... I don't even know her.... I... I guess she's cute.' He sighed 'I just don't know why...' He gave up on writing for the moment. He just couldn't wrap his head around anything the teacher was saying and hoped that the answers would come later. He listened half-heartily as he spun his pencil around his fingers. He wished he was smart. Than this would be easy.

His mind struggled, as his subconscious did, the silence was rough on both of them, but suddenly, a light. His subconscious and conscious recovered simultaneously. His hand made its way to the underside of the desk, and began scrawling once more. It was strange, his body had figured out the solution, once one side was finished, there was always another side. It had a moment of nothing, then suddenly all was well once again. An adoring solution, he found it perfect, or he would have, had his mind been on the plain. Or rather, his mind loved the solution, however, how it was applied to his symphonies' problem was much more interesting.

His symphony had been quiet, struck with the pain of age, as the automatic metaphor explained. But then, the symphony looked to the guitarist, and he began another smooth arpeggio, this time, he changed it slightly each time, getting brighter and higher every time. Ascending, as it was. The violinists came in, the drums rattled with triumph once more, this was the sweet reward for having endured so much tragedy and happiness, it was heaven. The piece had ended it's life, and turned over into the next.

While his hand scrawled, his symphony roared with greatness, telling of the beauty that was heaven, and the treat it was. The lecture was ending, his hand reaching the end of the bottom, and the symphony at its peak, it was all about to end in a burst of fury and magnificence! The lecture ended suddenly, his hand swiveled his signature into the desk quite powerfully. In his mind, the symphony raised a great howl, and then, all was quiet but the guitar, who resumed the birth and heaven arpeggios, combining them softly. Then, finally, with a final slash of the wrist, the song ended on a triumph. But not quite. He stopped, and then, played the birth once more, rounding life. He snapped out of it, and smiled, his work done, his symphony done. He looked around, and had nothing but excitement for the next part of his day, hoping that the rest of class would be brief so he could transcribe the symphony.

TABTABMizu continued to take down what the teacher had previously stated. This time though even with his head down his pencil moved swiftly across the paper jotting down almost everything he heard. After each sentence his mind continued to almost sway off as his body was being put on auto note taking, but he could never fully get into so his body remained conscious and he let out a sigh after each sentence. Word after Word, Line after line, I think i just might be losing my mind. God is there any way I don't have to listen to all of this pencil scratching. Mizu grumbled and lifted his head. His body motion changed to be more suited to taking down notes and leaving his head as empty and vast as space itself in this point of time.
TABTABHas he stilled not shut up yet? I mean it's only the freaking first day of school for us, or is this his little punishment for most of us being late? Page by page went as Mizu took down notes in his horrid hand writing. The constant outcries in his head were driving him insane. It was nearly impossible to keep them shut up long enough for a decent thought to pass through.

Notes, so early in the class? Haruna thought to herself, well, better get started. Haruna swiftly pulled out her pencil and paper and started writing down the notes the teacher was saying faster than she ever had to in her life. It was really stressing her, and cramping up her hand. Why?! How is this taking so long?! Haruna finally starts to see more into the workings of chakra though.

Tenko looked around at the other student as the took notes. His mind began to wonder if he was the only one not understanding any of this. He began to tap his pencil lightly as he tried to work out anything the teacher was saying. He thought he understood it but it was still rather difficult to process into thoughts that he could put down onto paper. His head began to pound to the beat of the pencil. It was a dull throb that was felt in the back of his head. He slowly put the pencil down and started to rub his temples and hoped it would release some of the tension. His head pounded to the beat of his heart. He groaned and hoped it would go away.

His headache got worse as the teacher went on. Then teacher started to go into even more detail. His head could not have spun more if he was a top. He slowly lowered his head and blocked out the light in hope that it would stall the throb that resonated inside his skull. He listened to what the teacher had said but he was already so lost that it might as well had been another language. Though the teacher had weird way about words when he said them. They seemed out of place. Maybe he does speak another language. He sighed and hoped the headache was near its end. He felt a little better thanks to the darkness.

Tenko bit his tongue. He was done with the stupid headache. It has kicked his a** for long enough. He grabbed the pencil and started to write as much as he could. He made a few spelling errors but he was able to understand it better thanks to the listening he did before. He took a deep breath as the teacher finished as was thankful for being finished finally. He smiled and looked at the teacher and waited. He hoped it would be something easier this time. Then he thought to himself and wondered what could be easier than taking notes?
