When Zerkon charges at her, Tiresia backs away until her back met the wall but quickly turns to the new member. No, Jeri! Stay away! She tries to push her away from Zerkon and levitates the two staff pieces with telekinesis before trying to hit Zerkon over the head, hard. I'm sorry...

Silver also reacted to the old man's command and quickly fired an impulse from a portal that he made between Zerkon's feet, it wasn't anything strong but it should produce enough strain for Zerkon's leg muscles to convulse. Maybe when you're older Jeri Silver said as his portal vanished after firing off the impulse. Why are you using that you knob, I thought you wanted to keep your combat skills a secret! Adrian yelled in Silver's head when he saw his brother use a real combat skill.

Not expecting the push from Tiresia, Jeri clumsily fell to the ground, her keys rolling along the ground. Hearing Silver's words, Jeri simply became more determined and grabbed her keys, standing up from the ground and getting her watch ready. Jeri selected one of the keys from her key ring, inserted it into a keyhole on her watch and turned it, a magical energy emerging from the watch and taking a human shape. A tall man in black clothes appeared, and looked at Jeri, awaiting her orders. "Sorrow, grab that swordsman's black sword and weigh it down!" "He won't like me very much if I do that...well, not that anyone likes me anyway." "Just do it!" "If you insist..." Sorrow sighed sadly and rushed toward Zerkon, intending to grab Sacrifar and weigh it down with his power of gravity.

Zerkon was struck over the head, flinched, and was simultaneously hit by the pulse, which made his legs twitch, which combined distracted him long enough for Gravity core to get through his guard and strike him. Jeri's 'Sorrow' weighed down Sacrifar to the floor, allowing Vince to touch a hand to his forehead, Until Zerkon created and swang another explosion at him, although Vince managed to grab and dissapates.
"RAWRGH!" Zerkon let out another cry, and began swinging more and more swords, everytime failing to strike, as his swords get becoming dissapated. "I see...I guess with this much rage...I might have to use that technique...Body Forge: Gravity core!" Vince grabbed Zerkon's arm as he swung, turned it into a Gravity core, which stopped him from moving it and creating more swords. Vince carefully touched a hand to his forehead, and began to flow power into it.
"ZERKON! CEASETH THY RAGE!"
A loud voice boomed in his head, loud enough almost to be audible, especially if you could read thoughts.
"RAaaAAaggh....Raa....gh...Raaa....ggghuh..." Zerkon continued to grunt and scream, but as it continued, they slowly turned from yells of rage to yells of sorrow, pain, and anguish. "Gaahaha...." Slowly, Sacrifar's 'roots' began to recede, and the blade simply disappeared, as he fell to his knees, now crying with tears streaming down his face. "Grawh... H-How.... could I do this?...No....I can't believe...that I didn't see it....No..." Zerkon began sobbing, breaking down and finally realizing what he had done. "That blade....the blade that killed our parents... how could I...."
Vince kneeled down and put his hand on the boys' shoulder and he motioned to the others to come closer and comfort him if needed.

Silver hesitated, but he soon found himself approaching the crying man. The loss of Tenrou Island.... now this Silver thought as he emphatically put himself into Zerkon's position through imagination. My condolences.... Silver said with barely any hint of what is offered, he sill thought that expressing one's self in public is a sign of weakness. He understood the pain, yet he could not take it up for himself to show that he did. Protect what you can Adrian's voice echoed in Silver's mind.

Jeri breathed a sigh of relief as she turned her key the other way, Sorrow dissipating back into magical energy and returning into the key. She stashed her keys back into her pocket and decided not to speak to Zerkon, thinking she may have been partially to blame for what happened. So, she laid back against a wall and watched the scene before her quietly...until someone burst through a door beside her which hit her in her nose. Jeri lay on the floor unconscious and in pain.
Elsewhere, Ladencia began having mysterious visions as his mind started returning to consciousness. Sacred sword...copy storage circuits...assessing material...Blueprint determined... Ladencia ran magical energy from his body into his hands, gathering it together in order to create something. Imprinting capacity into the creation...forge the black shield...forge the black shield...forge the black--- Ladencia shot up, his mind awake but still groggy from the effects of Mindswipe. He thought he saw a shape moving across the room, but when he blinked his vision cleared and nothing was there, or in his hands. What...what was that weird dream? No, before that, why am I in my room? What was I doing before I got here? Ladencia stared down in thought, and remembered his fight with Zerkon. Right, Herald nearly had him when that purple wave knocked us out. That must mean the old geezer is here, wonderful. Ladencia got out of his bed, thrust his door open into something (or someone), and put Divine Edge to Vince's back. "What are you doing here, old man? Is ruining my life twice over not enough for you anymore, Lerain?"

Vince turned around and stood up, looking Ladencia in the eye. "I came because the letter I sent sometime ago hadn't returned to me, and I heard about the disappearance of Tenrou Island, and I wanted to check to see if my pupil was alright. I had no clue that you were here, however." He turned to the boy on the ground, and stared a stare of pity. "I had no idea things were this bad..."
Zerkon, meanwhile, continued to let the emotions flow out. "First...I lost my parents....then I nearly lost Pearl.... I lost Erza...Now I almost lost my friends....I'm so stupid...." Zerkon clutched his chest upon hearing Ladencia's voice, but slowly made his way to his feet.

Upon hearing Vince's words, Ladencia realized that at least part of Zerkon's outburst was his fault. "That...that is due to me, I think. I gave him his memories back, and so he got mad...But even YOU should know that is no excuse for wielding THAT accursed sword, the way you did! At least you were forced to make it; I told him what he was doing and he ignored me!"
When he heard Zerkon's words, Ladencia pointed Divine Edge at Zerkon intending to ensure he stayed down. "Oh, you're not stupid! Tripping on a rock is stupid! Crushing the only dream of your pupil is stupid! Creating the sword that killed our parents and trying to kill me with it? THAT MAKES YOU A MURDERER!" Ladencia shook with hatred during those last words, and dropped his sword as it suddenly became too heavy to wield. He bent over, picked the sword up, and finally just sheathed it in resignation. "I will show no mercy to anyone who wields that sword, so as far as I'm concerned, I don't even know you! You lost all status as my brother and nakama the instant you made that sword. At least be grateful I'm not going to make Herald kill you anymore, because we have more important things to do with our time." Ladencia stood there, still shaking from hatred and trying hard not to hit anything or anyone.

Zerkon in turn responded with more rage. "Me! A murderer? HAH! what would you know, you spineless idiot! If I knew that was the blade that had killed my parents, I wouldn't have forged it! You think I'm THAT Low? Even If I was a murderer, It's better than being a coward who left his family behind to search over some dispute. No...You didn't leave. You ABANDONED me! I was left like some trash on the side of the road! You weren't even there....you weren't there when I almost killed my fiance, my childhood friend. You weren't there to help me through the pain! You ran away from your pain, instead of facing it.Tell me, how does that make you any better than me? The moment you left, You also denounced your brotherhood to me! You are a spineless, idiotic fool! At least I love what's left of the family I was given! You are a selfish, deluded moronic-"
"That's enough!" Vince cut in. "You shall not shed one another's blood, and you shall not anger. If I told you once, I've told you a thousand times; You must keep your mind in check, for unstable minds make unstable creations. " He turned to Ladencia, and continued. "Ladencia, I am glad you gave him back the lacrima, like I knew you would, but you chose a horrible time to do so. Think carefully before making decisions." He turned to Zerkon. "You are my beloved heir, but you cannot run from your emotions. Frankly, I am very disappointed in you.Storing your pain inside and wishing to fight will not remedy it."
Zerkon looked down, and let his anger subside as best he could. "If Master Vince wishes it, I shall obey." He bowed his head, and after anger left, sorrow began to creep in again. "I'm sorry, guys."

Tiresia quickly ran forward and hugged Zerkon close as soon as Vince gave the motion that he was alright now. Shhhh....We're still here aren't we?

Ladencia became furious at Zerkon's words, and shouted back. "Maybe I abandoned you, but I didn't KILL you! You were all set to kill everyone you love just because you were pissed off at my irresponsibility! Fine, I left you behind, but that's no excuse to become a killing machine!" However, Vince silenced him with his shout, and he listened to his former master. However, when Vince was done, Ladencia's anger had not subsided, for a different reason. "Wh-what do you MEAN, you knew I was going to give it back?!? Wait...That's the only reason you agreed to keep quiet about it, wasn't it? Why you---Darn you, you stupid cranky old codger!!!"
Ladencia saw Tiresia run up to Zerkon, and at last his anger subsided. That's right...that's the real reason I'm so angry with him, isn't it? Herald was right about all this being a lie. That swordsman's just an inconvenient reminder of that fact, so that's the real reason. Ladencia instructed Herald to "eat" all his anger again, leaving Ladencia calm and level-headed enough to ask an important question. "Lerain, what was so important about that letter? That swordsman there never showed me what was in it, even though I asked him."

Zerkon just turned and gave in, letting Tiresa hold him. "I'm sorry...I've lost so much...I lost her...I finally realized I loved her, and Now... she's gone...No, Not just her...Natsu...Gray...So many gone....Lucy...Master Marakov..." Zerkon sighed, and continued to shake and let the tears pour out. "In spite of all that...I wanted to Plunge myself into more despair. Why? Why was I spared? Why wasn't I with them....Ladencia's right...I don't deserve to be your nakama.I really am just a sword, made to hurt..."
"You carry too much burden. You know your Sin, now atone for it. Trust in them, for they trust in you."

Tiresia softly smiles and kept holding him. We know and we feel the same. We might not know why what happened when it did but that shouldn't mean that we fall apart...You're nakama no matter what. When someone cries, we all cry. When someone smiles, we all smile...When someone grieves, we all grieve. The esper mage was crying too.

(I'm piloting Vince, now; Zerkon gave me the OK.)
When Vince heard Ladencia's frustations, he laughed a little and touched Ladencia's shoulder. "Ha ha ha! Glad to see I can still get to you, even at this age!" However, Vince once again grew serious, and took a deep breath before saying what he had to say. "About that letter...we need to talk about that outside, privately. Though I fear it is news that you...may not believe." Ladencia followed Vince towards the guild doors and looked back towards the other guild members. Was he right? Should I really just... Ladencia sighed and turned around, resuming his walk for the door. No, I have to give it time. Hopefully things will get better.

Zerkon Hugged her back as he continued. "I know but...last time some one betrayed the guild and attacked, they were banned. If Master Marakov was here, I'd be exiled. "Zerkon, suddenly remembered the words of his mentor. "Remember, Overcoming your pain is what gives the blades their sharpness." I care about the members of Fairy Tail...I don't want to lose anymore of you....You are all the family I have left...." Zerkon moved his head up, and actually smiled a bit, although he still had tears on his cheeks. "You always have been the voice of reason." In his head, he also noted that she smelled nice.
(Don't know if she wearing perfume or anything. probably not though. Yay akwardness that will inevietably come later!)
