By the way, anyone that loses to me has to join my Naruto Guild ^.^ Unless you REALLY lost to me, then I think I'll let it slide...

My question is, whats with the dude that brought a rifle? I thought we weren't allowed to have guns in this tournament.

We're allowed guns, just not ammunition...

That's the gist of it.
An unloaded firearm is little more than a bludgeoning tool, or maybe a shortspear if you latch a bayonet onto the end of it and it happens to be a rifle.

Seems rather pointless to use a weapon in a way its not really intended to be used... Why not just use a shortspear or mace, right?
I was more suspecting magical ammunition, but yeah, I see the distinction.

Probably for thematic reasons; a rifle with a bayonet might make more sense for the character than an actual spear would.

Bayonets can do some wicked damage, you'd have to respect it but it might be a little less maneuverable than a spear with a bayonet shaped tip. Simply because a gun is designed to be fired and not flung about, nor would the gun with the bayonet have the same reach. I would suspect training would be better for melee if someone was taught to use a spear, while a soldier taught to use a bayonet is simply taught to rush and stab.
Is watching Soul Eater.
Soul Eater > Naruto
Is not playing LoL, I think my computer is too craptastic to handle it.

Safety scissors can do some wicked damage, you'd have to respect it but it might be a little less effective than an actual knife. But with some proper training, stabbing someone in the eye with them could end a fight really quickly.
Any computer that was made after 1989 can run LoL.
