She hadn't been hit. Romane noticed this as a squirmy, uncomfortable, and rather irked Mimi started shouting, “I'M GOING TO DIE AIR, AIR, AIR!” at the redhead. The bulging green eyes of her daughter as she clawed at her to get up had Romane quick to jerk into a sitting position, allowing her daughter to take in a long, loud gasp of air. She checked her clothes once again – no. Nothing. Good. But, as she glanced at the others, she saw that Romane had certainly been a lucky one. Brooke Page, her niece's, Rune's, cousin, had slumped off with most certainly a bruise from the machine, while John Alvey-LeBlanc appeared to be looking just fine, if not smothered in tomato juices. Still, the children was enough to irk her. It could have been Mimi or Julian! She stood up, ignoring Mimi's chatter about the robot as she took one of her tomatoes and threw it as hard as could be at Lotte von der Bach!9/10

Maxine, most like Neil, hadn't move from a centimetre as the tomatoes were flying around her. Mommy had been right: Tomatoes could fly. Of course, mommy was always right, so it wasn't much of a surprise. She was just happy to actually been able to see it after her ten years of existence. This made her so happy that she smiled for exactly 0,02 seconds. A lot more than her usual smiles. Finally ready to play, she bend down to pick a tomato that had rolled to her feet, effectively dodging a dozen more tomatoes while doing so, and decided that she should throw it... throw it at Chucky. Him being her team mate meant that she had to play with him, right? It made sense.... Throwing it with all her strengh (not a lot), she could only hope that it hit her target... maybe.

Before Wilhelm could see if the tomato he had thrown would connect to his target, whomever it was, he hadn't payed enough attention to actually know who he was aiming at, he saw a flash of red coming toward him. Oh yeah, baby! That was it! The adrenaline! The rush! The fun! He was born for that competition! Without wasting a second, he started to dodge Riley's projectile. No way he was getting eliminated in the first round! Oh No, ma'am! Especially not by a kind of sexy douche like Riley! Time to dodge!

Thank GODDESS that Romane had gotten off her! Mimi was so confused when her mother suddenly jumped atop her, stopping her from seeing what was going on and why that laughter had started, plus, most importantly, from talking! She couldn't talk at all and it was horrifying! ..Well, except to start screaming for air, which her mother eventually obliged her for. She took in a really big breath of air as she was allowed freedom once again, pulling her bucket of tomatoes closer to her as she grabbed a tomato. It was at this point that Mimi saw the robot and all time stopped. As well as breathing. And every other function related to it. Her mouth opened and a stream of words that sounded less and less like English and more like she was just finding new and exotic ways to say, 'OH MY GOD IT'S A ROBOT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT!!!' At some point during this, the girl's arms started to flail and, as a result, the tomato she held was thrown in a random direction – at Quentin Alvey-LeBlanc!9/10

As she looked her tomato slowly flying out of her hand, Maxine noticed another tomato coming right toward her. Maxine, being Maxine, however, didn't see any use to dodge it. In fact, the notion of dodging the tomato had completely evade her and this was exactly why, she ended with a tomato hitting right right in the face. It was a fitting end for a brave warrior like Maxine Park, daughter of the iron cook Alex Park and the ice witch Freja Von der Bach.

Of course, it was predictable that people would start aiming at her. Lotte HAD crash into the festival ground with a giant malfunctioning -thanks to Ray and Rory- robot. People could hold such grudges, really. It was so silly! Like that father trying to avenge his daughter. If he didn't want Brook to get hit, he shouldn't have brought her into the field of war! This was serious business afterall! Oh, silly people thinking they could bring child like that into an adult game! Oh well, not like his tomato would be very hard to dodge! She could easilly do it as she ran toward the barell of tomatoes to grab more, since she actually didn't have any with her. They were all in the robot!

Ah! Yeah, she had dodge it very easilly! Seriously, what was that man even thinking. She made a mental note to make him her first victim after she had loaded up with more tomatoes. She just hopped that no one would hit him until then. He was hers! Trying to insult her by throwing such a weak tomato! Just like what the police officer was now trying to do! Hey! Was she the only target there? NO. She didn't think so! God, people, sometimes!

Unfortunately for Neil, he wouldn't be able to know anything about Lotte and her evil plans to conquer the island, for the very same moment he had thrown a tomato at her and her crew, he felt a familiar wet and hard ball hitting the back of his head. Yes. He had been touched. Even his quest for the Truth had been thwarted. There was a conspiracy on the island! Someone wanted to hide the truth! But he couldn't find it anymore. No, he had to leave his legacy (and his tomatoes) to his daughter, Mimi, has he died.

River was EXCITED. She was excited every year, but this time, it was just so exciting, she almost couldn't take it! Maybe after this, she'd take Jeremy and run him around the island a few times, to burn off the excess energy. After all, there was a giant robot off at the edge of the town square. That was enough to push the part of her brain in charge of her frenzied excitement into overdrive. Normally, she would run about the square wildly, just enjoying it all, but... was that red thing hurtling towards her? So soon! 9/10

"Oh! Hello, Avi--" River turned on her heel to wave at Avian cheerfully, but she was cut off mid-syllable as something squishy and wet hit her in the side of the head. ...What a weird sensation. What was that? She didn't understand... She could feel the tomato juice drip down her cheek, staining her shirt red, and she understood. She had been hit. The world seemed to come to a standstill as she came to terms with her fate. She couldn't move, she could barely even breathe. Then another tomato smacked against her back, and she fell to her knees. "I'm sorry... Zhi... Jeremy..." she murmured. "I won't be able to protect you..." She went to stand, but her foot slipped on the remains of the first tomato, and she fell flat on her stomach. "I guess I'll just lie here for a moment..." she mumbled, giving up and going slack. She'd move later, she just wasn't ready to accept her defeat just yet.

As the first one out of the robot, Rory had enough time to get his tomatoes, then hurry off as far away from Lotte as possible. He didn't want to risk her using him again. He may not be any taller or cooler or better looking than he was ten years ago, but he was somewhat wiser, and he wasn't going to gamble his personal comfort for her own benefit. He wasn't in the clear just yet, though. The robot hadn't taken out as many people as he had hoped, and it was only a matter of time before he became a target. He better make his time count! He glanced around and aimed for someone nearby, who wasn't female or a child, of course -- Chucky Russell!9/10
