((ALSO NOTE: I am heading to dinner in a bit, so I will not be available for fighting yet. I will note when I am.))
Captain Bismuthite was uneasy here in space, but he had a duty to be here. He had no choice but to be here. Protect the Great One, Destroy the Senshi, Destroy the Knights. Destroy the Surrounding. Three things he had to do, and space or not, he was damn well going to do it.
When one random senshi tried to attack the Great One, Bismuthite leap to the youma's defense, elbowing the senshi that took the leap.

Babylon Squire would defend the Surrounding. This much he'd made up his mind about. It was impossible to say whether his loyalty to Virgo was imagined or guilt-driven or some deep bond that crossed time and generations and space - but he wanted to do right by the captain, and that meant lifting his lantern in defense of the surrounding.
He'd been thinking a lot about the oath of a different lantern, lately - In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night - and judging by the vanishing stars, this was certainly blackest night.
Babylon did not pause to look for allies; he charged into the fray, lantern swinging, aiming for whoever presented an easy target.

On her way towards the civilians, Pasiphae's ears pricked at the sound of Europa's voice; when she turned her head, she could see both the Eternal Senshi and Ganymede. More importantly, she saw her friend pick up a piece of scrap and begin to attack the hulking beast that threatened them all, and focused on her words of preserving the Surrounding.
She was momentarily torn. She wanted... needed to protect those innocents who had become trapped in this war. Yet, there were others taking care of them, knights that Pasiphae didn't immediately recognize other than Camelot, Still... if necessary, she could always fall back. Right now, it seemed like directly attacking the giant youma was the best plan of action, and she shifted her destination to reach her fellow Jovians. She wasted no breath on a greeting, instead making her presence known by following Europa's example and flinging a piece of debris at the monster.

Ganymede forced himself to swallow in an attempt to loosen up his suddenly tight throat, glancing toward Europa at her directive and nodding to let her know he understood. That would have been his choice to begin with, start on the youma and worry about all the others after. The youma had apparently been what carried them here as far as he could see--how, though?--and if they could just get rid of it, how did they intend to get back?
"Right. Okay," he said, looking around for something to use. As there'd been at Virgo Outpost during the incident with the spider youma, there was plenty of rubble for him to work with. he wouldn't be running out of anything to use for a weapon any time soon, though he wished he had something better to rely on.
He wished a lot of things at that moment, mainly that this sort of thing didn't have to happen ever. Youma he could handle. Fighting actual living, breathing people was another matter, what he still didn't like and refused to see as 'right.'
He picked up a piece of stone he thought looked big enough to cause at least a little damage -- but then with a youma that big, who knew? -- and he flung it toward the gigantic monster as hard as he could, before leaning over to retrieve the next piece of wreckage, quickly looking around for any of the other Jovians, but in his rush and panic he didn't see any of them, at least until Pasiphae arrived. He was immediately relieved, but only just.
Where were the rest? Where was Val?

(Painite defends for 25)
General Painite was on the scene, and ready for a fight. She looked around, holding Staff Corporal Saddles against her shoulder, its sharp, large spear head glistening in the darkness. It glowed a faint purple as the runes pulsed. Eager for battle, Painite imagined.
Feeding off her own energies, no doubt.
Her weapon was an extension of herself, and she wielded it as a trusted ally and a part of her mind and body. She gripped it now, feeling her pulse beating in her wrist, her knuckles white with the tightness of her hold. A grin split her face and she leaped forward, straight into the gathering, roiling mass of Senshi, Knights and civilians.
She had a starseed hanging from her costume. It belonged to a Squire she had killed, and was, she told herself, only the first of her collection. So she looked around for a knight to focus on, her eyes quickly spotting quite a few of them.
Now, which one to attack first? That was her biggest concern at the moment. Maybe that was because she was feeling so charged, so confident: these pathetic little scampering mice had no chance against their youma, their forces.
The fear on their faces was more than enough to tell Painite that.

Should she go out there and fight? No that was silly talk. Layton wasn't tough, or brave, or strong, or anything else. So instead, she stayed hidden behind her pillar and wibbled at her low self esteem.
Well this wasn't her fight anyways! She hadn't asked to loser her brother, find him, and then be attacked all over again. She hadn't asked for that at all. In fact, what she was doing right now seemed pretty lame as is: she was asking God to spare her, and her brother, and Felix. And the senshi, knights, and even the negaversers (how was she supposed to know they were leading the attack? She just figured everyone was fighting the beast).
Suddenly a girl ran past her shouting about forming together. Layton gathered up every shred of courage she had, and shouted directly at Harmony, "M-Miss! Come hide!"

The ride to the Surrounding had been utterly amazing. Clinging as he was, to a horn, he had kept his grip while watching the stars with a certain amount of wonder and awe while drinking in the site with the eye of an artist who would love a paintbrush in and and canvas in front of them. He wanted to paint but now was not the time. The pounding in his chest told him as much, it was time to fight.
As they landed and Fluorite spoke he slid off the giant youma. A soft spoken thank you passing his lips as he dismounted, weather it was for the ride or allowing them to fight by tearing down the barrier one couldn't be sure. Perhaps it was both? Likely this was the case.
Summoning his new weapon in time to block a piece of debris the Captain used the giant brush he held like a bat. Swinging it into the debris a senshi, one he had previously encountered, sent toward the Great Youma. He could feel a smile twisting his features as he made his way toward Pasiphae.

((GK Zinkenite Defense Roll))
Distracting to say the least, making sure people moved in safely. So much to be mindful of but he held his head high as he moved into the fray. He would not be afraid of them. He would be the inspiration for those brave enough. The demi ‘family’ that was as much military as it was that ‘family’ that they treated it as. Reliable for the most part, a few loose ends but what family didn’t have them? So long as they didn’t unravel the greater weave of their dark tapestry this was not the time or place to worry.
“You all talk too much.” Zinkenite growled through narrowed eyes and threw a metal sphere out into the midst of things to defend the youma. It gave a concussive blast before belching forth thick smoke.

DAMAGE DEALT: 139 DAMAGE DEFLECTED: 119 The small barrage of senshi and Knights was not welcomed by the Great One. It secured its grip on the edges of the road, its wings fanning out to their full, half-decayed span as it glared down on its foolish assailants. Small cuts and scrapes were being left on it by both physical and magical onslaughts... but not nearly enough for it to even be bothered. Seeming amused, it raised its claw again and this time slashed at the ground. Cracks and sinkholes began to noisily form beneath everyone's feet, many large enough to get trapped in for good. ROLL A D6 TO JUMP AWAY!!1 or 2 = you were trapped under some rubble! If you are a CIVILIAN, you were fatally injured by this attack. If you are POWERED, you need to make a post pulling yourself out before you can attack or defend again! 3 or 4 = you were knocked down momentarily and sustain a few bruises, but you're in relatively good straits otherwise. 5 or 6 = you escaped the attack completely. Nice acrobatics! Sleet Tempest Snape As keeper of this attack's memory, Lieutenant Benitoite is COMPLETELY IMMUNE to its effects. In addition, he himself can summon a full-on rubble trap beneath a single target.
Benitoite can use this move ONLY ONCE in this battle!

Ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod.
Hell had broken loose, and the moment the great youma landed, Naica pretty much lost track of anything. The civilians, the senshi, the knight, the enemy - all seemed to blur in an indistinct mass of pure, utter chaos.
He wanted to go home. Or cling to his girlfriend. But that would be a little counter-productive.
For MuCephei, that is.
Still, Naica grapped some debris and threw it as hard as he could toward the only thing that was still definite - the monster.

Glancing between Grant and Felicia, both of whom he recognized and at least one of which was looking to him for guidance, Gilbert bit back his immediate urge to run and gestured toward them. He was intending to go deeper into the outpost -- there had to be someplace in there fit for people to hide, right? -- and there was no harm in taking them with him. So far, no one had directly rushed them. So far. "Come on!" He barked, reaching out and snagging part of Grant's clothing. "Let's find a place to hide! We're just going to be one more distraction for everyone if we stay out in the open!" Not to mention, they were almost sure to die. ((OOC: I have to leave for work in an hour so Gilbert is sure to die. xD You guys can write he got crushed by something or idek if you want, or just go on without him, it's cool!))

"BLOODY FRICKIN HELL - !"
He did not manage to escape the falling rubble.
There was an enormous rumbling sound, a crack, and suddenly Celsus was completely submerged beneath an onslaught of rocks and debris. It definitely hurt - his head was ringing painfully, and there were several dark, purplish bruises beginning to form on his arms (and probably some on his legs too) - but he was not about to just lie down and take it.
Not when he could finally do something.
It took him several moments, lots of swearing, and a great deal of concentration for Celsus to finally drag himself out from beneath the pile of rocks, brushing mussed and dirty red curls from his face.
"Dammit - !"

((In order - Themis, Fluorite, Alunite, Hesperis, Naica))
The world shook and focused on his attack as he was, Themis had no chance, really, to avoid it. The rubble fell on him, knocking the wind out of him.
s**t !
The Great One's unleashed power was an amazing, beautiful thing - unfortunately, it's fury was a little undistinctive. Some rubble came in her direction, but she managed to dart out of the way to avoid most of it - through she could already tell she was gonna be bruised like a peach by the time this would be over.
Her brother, on the other hand, was a little less lucky. He'd spotted Themis and had started to go right for him, but was knocked below some of the rubble as the youma unleashed it's strength.
s**t... !
She'd lost Camelot when the battle began, and Hesperis had ended up locking staffs with a lieutenant that was similarly equiped, when some rubble bowled them both.
OW !
Naica was still recoiling from his throw when the debris he'd thrown was, apparently, returned to sender.
The poor page of cosmos didn't have a chance, really, and down he went, too blindsided by the pain to try to pull himself out immediately like so many around him were.

Being so close to the beast was definitely not a good plan when the thing stomped on the ground. Suddenly holes and cracks started appearing everywhere. Draconis clambered back onto a small stone wall a few feet away. She wobbled a bit, and scraped her knee on the way up, but it seemed she was doing better than some of the senshi. She noticed a man (Gilbert) fall through a hole, and not come back up. Ouch.
Why did it seem like they were losing this?
---
Layton, however, did not fair so well. From her spot behind the pillar, a giant hole had formed on the other side. The pillar came crashing down, and the little girl "Layton" was no more. Now it was just ghost sparkly blob Layton.
Even sparkle blob Layton was shy though. She whizzed near the outpost, not even daring to venture into the battle field. Right now, she was looking for Callum and Felix, so she could at least tell them she died.
((Draconis has a scrape, Layton is dead. XD))
