His eyebrow shot up at her laugh, not expecting it if he was honest, not many others foudn him funny, there was Dice.... but she was DICE ... He didn't have time to scramble out of her way as she got up and nudged his ear, he wasn't happy about his ear being touched but he'd alreadys hoved her, he wasn't about to do it again. "Don't..." was al he said, shaking his head and perking his ears up

She gave him a stern look. "Then don't droop them, up they make you look handsom, when they are droopy like that you just look sad and so damn cute that its just wrong.... Stallions should be studly, not cute..." Really not sure that she explained that right, after all how did you explain that seeing his ears droop had made her want to coo over him like a crying foal... Definately NOT something a stallion would want to hear.

Elliot didn't know what to say. "cute.... i uh ... " he tilted his head at her. Unsure what to make of her, the hadnsoem part, sure he'd heard that before but he didn't take much notice really. His ears wriggled as he looked at her curiously, Dice called him cute sometimes but while he wasn't stupid, he wasn't really bothered with how he looked unless it was hiding some injury from Blood or the others. He shrugged and just smiled kindly at her.

She rolls her eyes and sighs, why couldn't she find a stallion that liked her talking her mind. She had been told off the first time she called a stallion handsome... Then that was her now ex best friend.... Idiot... But so far every one she had said anything complementairy to had either brused it off, ignored her or told her off... MALES! They were insufferable, what could a mare do. Sadly she had failed to do what she needed to do, she needed to ignore them but she was always to loose with her talking around them and ended up making a fool of herself. She turned away and walked around a little, stiff but mobile.

Elliot was a little confused at her reaction, he didn't think he'd said something to upset her "Hey...hey Velevet wait" he said after her retreating tail. he wasn't going to chase her down though, he didn't see a need to, she was fine, as far as he could see anyway. If she turned round then fine but if not well, he wouldn't midn so much

Velvet looked round, she hadn't moved far, but she was moving around, so she turned and headed back his way. Letting her brused side ajust a little, working out where hurt the most. "Yes?"

Elliot smiled nicely when she stopped and turned "What did i say? why did you just storm off?" he asked, taking a step towards her, he felt slightly bad that she hadn't eaten much apparently before he showed up and he nudged an apple towards her with his hoof.

She shook her head. "I didn't, I was jsut working out what hurt most." Going pink and wincing worried he might take that as a dig, she was just bluntly honest. "Sorry... I get told I should think before speaking a lot..." Her expression sheepish, but taking the apple, biting it in half and nudging the other half carefully over to him.
