James Ortiz James chuckled lightly at her response, it seemed a little mechanical. "Yes, so you've said..." He smiled gently and turned to face her and the dishes. "Well now, I don't think I could turn down an offer like that. Especially since you asked to nicely. And since you might get bored without being told what to do." He didn't quite mind her saying master, but only because she was most likely too used to saying it, though it did bring a quick flare of anger. That couldn't be helped no matter what the situation was.

LeilaLeila nodded and started with the dishes. She kept her expression neutral, but she was actually relieved to have something to do. Having been a slave for so long, and to so many masters, she wasn't comfortable having a master who didn't have very much for her to do, and at least washing dishes was something.

James Ortiz James glanced at Leila with weary eyes. It was a strange sight for him to behold. Every sense told him that she was in fact a female, but his sight told him otherwise. It was definitely odd for him to feel happy with another man's presence, though knowing Leila was female helped lots. With a flustered sigh he pat her on the shoulder to let her know he was leaving the kitchen before going to the living room. There was another thing that was nagging at him. He wondered if she knew that she was technically free from being a slave. At least the moment he bought her she was.

LeilaJames patting her shoulder startled Leila, but she didn't show it. None of her other masters had touched her except to beat her or...well, she didn't want to think about the other reason. She finished washing the dishes and headed in the direction James had gone. In the doorway, she was almost tripped up by a furry body winding itself around her legs. She looked down at the tiger cub and smiled. "Hello again, Mihaneh."

James Ortiz James was actually a little bored and tired. His big adventure for the day was getting Leila, and what a strange adventure that was, since it was his day off of training and working. He lain his head down on the back of the couch and closed his eyes for a moment to think of something to do. He sighed with nothing quite coming to mind. An abrupt purring noise had one green eye pop open and glance over to Leila and Luscious. The cub was happy to get attention, but his tail flickered in agitation. He had to be let out. With a chuckle he opened his other eye and stood up. "Leila, do you mind following me outside?" The cub stumbled to it's feet and ran clumsily towards the back door at the mention of outside.((Hey! Another friend who has that dragon thing! xD Some of them are actually really adorable... o3o Too bad that I'm too lazy to actually get one myself. :3))

LeilaLeila looked over at James and nodded. "Of course not, sir," she said, meaning that of course she didn't mind. ((Yeah. I saw them in someone else's signature and decided to see how well I could do with them since I've already got the cat, too.))

James Ortiz The outside had reminded James of something they could do. Even though he already checked it out earlier in the morning, it was at least relaxing to make sure they were all right again. Plus Leila might enjoy the sight of all the strange plants. As soon as he opened the back door the cub bolted into some ordinary bushes. "I have a garden that I tend to every day. It's not normal either. I've been allowed to take exotic and rare plants from other countries. But they are all just beyond the little row of willow trees to keep them hidden."((My friend says that as long as you change your setting to accept aid and find lists of click sites, you will be alright by yourself.))

LeilaLeila followed, remembering having seen the willows earlier. She didn't say anything or show any change of emotion on her face, but she wanted to see if, perhaps, some of the plants might be from her homeland. Maybe with this master she'd have a little piece of home to go to when she felt lonely. ((Help me out and click them please?))

James Ortiz James strolled past the willows, his hand naturally reaching up to brush the vines of the branches as he did so. He glanced back to make sure Leila was following before facing forward. "I have no special abilities or anything, but somehow these plants still grow even when they don't belong to this habitat. There are multiple clearings that appear to be different as soon as you enter it. Care to step into one?" He smiled as he stopped near an older willow tree. Just beyond it was a small clearing that did indeed seem different. "I got these plants somewhere over seas."

LeilaLeila nodded. As soon as she stepped into the clearing after James, she was struck by what grew there. Her normally calculated and controlled facade slipped. "Cypress and madonna lilies! Olive trees! These are from my home!"

James Ortiz James turned back around to face Leila, a little surprised by her outburst and change of attitude. Just then Luscious trotted into the area and up to Leila, pawing at her leg. He wanted her to pick him up. "Ah, so you know these plants? Well that is good. Then you can show me how to take care of them properly. I think some of them are withering a bit..." He went to one of the lilies and gently tapped the petals.

LeilaLeila picked up the tiger cub and held him close as if to make sure she was still awake and not dreaming some wonderful dream. She nodded slowly, still stunned that those plants were in this part of the world. "Of course. Actually, if I could take care of this part of the garden on my own, I would like that," she said, her voice returning to its normal neutrality. "Could I?"

James Ortiz James crossed an arm over his chest and rubbed at his chin with his other hand. His eyebrows were furrowed as he thought. It took him a lot of time to get all these plants, and he didn't want to just suddenly stop. "Well, how about a proposal. If I let you take care of this section, then I will at least come to check on it when I please. I enjoy to look at them myself." He stopped rubbing his chin but instead brushed his fingers through his hair. "Deal?"

James Ortiz James smiled as he watched Leila. Even if her appearances didn't reveal anything, he could feel her moods. He could sense it through the chemicals in her body. And by the way it felt she was ecstatic, as she should be. His plants were one of his most beloved things. "So, would you like to stay here, or go check out the other plants? I just need to make sure the rest are all right..." He smiled as he leaned back against a tree.
