Yori was shocked that Lydia took his hand, but gently held onto it tighter as he took in a deep breath. "alright." and they walked into the other dimension. When they were on the other side they were in a cave high in a mountain. Yori smiled at Lydia, glad everything had went fine and looked behind him. There was nothing but a rock. He let go of her hand and tried to stick his arm through the rock, but nothing was there. He sighed looking down and turned back he chanted so that he could see the trail of the spirit, which oddly enough was strong. He looked over the edge of the mountain. "We have to pace ourselves when we start to climb down. If we don't then we'll be out of breath." and he slid down onto a small edge as he slowly shuffled down, his back pasted to the mountain and his head held high, not wanting to look at how far up they were.

Lydia carefully followed, admiring the scenery ahead of them. "Well this is definitely a strange experience." she said more to herself than Yori. They scaled the mountain silently, the thought of slipping and falling buzzing around Lydia's conscience. She knew she wasn't going to fall, but the vertigo was definitely not helping her convince herself so. She wondered to herself how far they would have to travel to save Yamato... What would become of Lydia after they did find her? Yori and Yamato were siblings, they would live together, but Lydia was only in this for the satisfaction of saving someone. She wouldn't be able to stay with the siblings, given the fact that she didn't know them very well. Lydia thought about how vast this dimension must be, what she might have to face here. She would have to learn to survive on her own, and forget about other humans. Then a thought occured to her. If Yamato was brought here, who says others weren't abducted as well? Perhaps there was still hope left for Lydia.

It was peaceful climbing down the mountain; no disturbances from spirits that is. Yori's feet touched the ground as he breathed in as he was able to breathe correctly again. He looked at the barren land. no civilization that he could see of. it all looked like farm land and forests. He gripped onto his back pack and started following the spirit's trail, but half an hour into the journey it started to rain. Yori pulled out his sisters umbrella, gave it to Lydia then took his out and they continued walking "We need to keep moving...at least until we can find a place that's good to camp out for the night."

Lydia nodded, following Yori wherever he decided to go. "Well... Perhaps we will find a cave or outcropping of rock... That would be safe from the rain and it's likely near this mountainous terrain." she said, hoping the info would help somehow. She was starting to feel tired, and the thought of making camp sounded wonderful

They continued walking and as Lydia had said there were many rocks. When they came across a cave Yori stayed far away and shook his head and he told her with his body language to be quiet as they passed by it. Soon enough they found a overhang and walked up to it, only enough room for them to sit up. "You want to camp out here or look for another one?" Yori asked

Lydia looked at the outcropping and smiled softly, "It's up to you. I've slept in worse places." she stated, ducking under the rock and closing the umbrella. She sat back, leaning against the cliffside, enjoying the moment of rest.

Yori shrugged "I don't care, i just want to sleep so that i can start again tomorrow morning." he said sitting down next to her, feeling a bit awkward, but never showing it as he put the umbrella away and pulled out a blanket. "Here, you take it. I'll be fine."

Lydia shok her head, giving Yori back the blanket, "This dress is good enough. Just get some rest, you won't be able to sleep if you're cold." she explained, slowly trning onto her side and closing her eyes. She didn't mind having to sleep next to Yori, considering he didn't seem like he would do anything stupid. He was a good kid, from what Lydia had seen. She thought that Yamato was lucky to have such a loving brother.

Yori shoved the blanket back in the backpack and laid down on his side, his back to Lydia. He was like a space heater and would be fine. he chanted, making a barrier around them and let his blue flames escape from his body to rest of the perimeter of the barrier. He didn't fall asleep right away and he sat back up to make sure Lydia was asleep. It seemed that she was and he laid back down starting to cry. All he wanted was to be back home with his sister and make her pancakes. He wanted to know that she was alright. Slowly his sniffling and tears ceased as he drifted off into a deep sleep

In the middle of the night, Lydia awoke, dilated pupils and a quickened heartbeat giving away her nightmare. She blinked a few times, looking around her to make sure she was still with Yori. She sighed when she saw him sleeping soundly, feeling like she was vulnerable. Slowly, she sat up, hoping Yori would not awake. She stared infront of her at the horizon, the deep blue of the sky telling her that morning was a few hours away. Lydia leaned back, staring now at the ceiling of the outcrop, trying to forget the visions. But one scene wouldn't leave her.
Yamato stood before the spirit that took her, along with a few other humans, all of them with the cat eyes of a possessed person. The head spirit laughed evilly, sending out his army of meat-puppets into a portal, sending back to Earth to cause terror.
Lydia wasn't sure if this was reality or just a figment of her imagination, but she hoped that it were not so. She let it off as a sign that they needed to find Yamato soon, but decided against telling Yori. She didn't want to let him down when they were so close already.
After a few minutes, Lydia found her eyes to droop and her head to tilt to the side, so she went back to sleep, this time dreamless and peaceful.

When Yori woke up the sun was just reaching over the trees. He stretched and saw Lydia there. He had forgotten that he had been in the middle of no where with someone he barley knew. With a swift movement of his staff he 'wiped' away the barrier and started ruffling through his bag; taking out 4 cereal bars. He laid two next to Lydia and opened one up for himself as he devoured it and opened the second; going down as fast as the other one had. Money would be useless now, they would have to hunt for food once their supplies started getting low. He had taken archery lessons, but he wasn't that great. He went out a bit and broke off a branch with his weight; falling on his butt. He rubbed his butt as he got up and walked back over, taking out a knife and started carving himself a bow. By the time he finished Lydia woke up. "Eat your breakfast, we won't start until it's in your stomach. When our food supplies get low we'll have to hunt for our food, so i'm making a bow and some arrows. You know archery too?"

Lydia opened one of the packets and ate it gingerly, knowing that afterwards they would have to live off of game. "Well, I don't know archery, but I am pretty good with a spear. I doubt that will get us much food, but it will help if there are fish." she said between bites, finishing the first bar. She ate half of the second bar, saving the rest in case she might need it, for whatever reason. She stood up and stretched a bit, feeling a crick in her neck. "I haven't slept that well in a while." she said, being brutally honest.

Yori nodded as he carved out a spear from the extra wood from the bow. "I want to finish these before we start. We have to be prepared." At that he continued carving and gave Lydia the spear as he started working on arrows. When he finished it was around noon and we started off, walking briskly to catch up with time. he still needed a strand of something strong for the bow and was looking for something that would work as they walked

Lydia took the spear with a nod of her head in thanks. She followed him, also on the lookout for anything to use to complete his bow. She couldn't really seem to see anything of use.

Yori stopped at a bush, it had berries on it and he wondered if they were ok to eat, but in picking a berry off the bush, he saw that the stems were flexible and sturdy. He took his knife out and chopped a good amount off then turned to Lydia "You think these berries are safe to eat?"
