INDENTArina noted the foods which Kaito named in quick succession after volunteering to prepare everyone a hearty meal upon the completion of their current mission. The girl smiled slightly embarrassed that Kaito seemed so excited at the prospect of Arina cooking and not just the prospect of food alone. He even stated that very fact verbally to confirm that his excitement was tied to the possibility of having food that was prepared by the young kunoichi. “Sushi, ramen and dumplings,” the girl spoke out loud to confirm that she had properly heard the options given. “I think those are great choices,” she nodded approvingly placing a finger on the tip of her chin as if in thought. “But not cooked,” the girl said assuredly that she had not overlooked that very important detail considering the look on his face when he spoke about raw cooking ingredients, “I would probably make a mixture of both cooked and uncooked however just due to personal preferences." The girl continued smiling brightly because she wanted him to know that she respected his own personal choices but everyone has their own personal preferences. Hanako chose not to participate in that particular conversation and seemed more concentrated on continuing on with the mission more than anything else. She did attempt to mention that her main source of enjoyment came from battle and combat practices which was not entirely astonishing considering what she had seen of the girl so far. She made mention of her family to further drive home the point as an example which was more than a fair illustration to use. “This should be a fairly good experience for you then? I have no idea how many opportunities like this we will receive given our rank and background. That being said – I much prefer to keep myself busy with mundane tasks around the village personally. I am not afraid of fighting really; however I have done my fair share of traveling as of late and it leaves for some want of stability I think,” Arina let out an exasperated sigh but quickly shook it off and recovered turning her attention back to the village that stood so solemnly before her.
INDENTAfter a few moments of quietly sitting there, Hanako used a few of her bone jutsu which horrifyingly transformed her overall body structure. Arina was not completely used to witnessing the brutal and savage use of the inner body structure in this form where it was able to be physically witnessed. She mentioned taking point and letting the other two follow suit to inspect the village but really, that is not what Arina meant when she made the suggestion in the least bit! There was very little possibility of the village civilians being any physical threat; however they did not want to come off in an alarming fashion. It should be understood that almost nothing was scarier to unarmed villagers than foreign shinobi just prancing into the village in numbers. “You can probably put those away,” Arina smiled nervously while a single bead of sweat fell down the side of her face in a comical fashion. She was obviously referring to Hanako because they did not want to antagonize any negative feelings the civilians may have already harbored towards shinobi, particularly of neighboring countries which may have threatened them. Despite the alliance, there were still some people who harbored those negative feelings which they had clung to before the forging of the alliance. These thoughts were all within reason considering there were several missions which still impeded on gray territory and could be construed to have misintent. “Fine,” the young girl held up her hands somewhat defeated as Kaito moaned about wanting to eat and not seeing the issue with just traveling into the village pretending to be civilians themselves.“You have to remove your headbands though or else I am not going with you,” she pouted a little about how nonchalant this guy was about foreign relations and the importance about appearances. “But really, you should put those away,” the girl pointed a finger towards Hanako chuckling lightly. She did not mean any harm with any of her comments but the young kunoichi was definitely trying to drive home the importance of not coming off in a threatening manner where foreign diplomacy was concerned.
INDENT“I agree with Kaito about our target, though I could not imagine that with the head start he received that he would not already be in the village,” Arina began walking towards the village entrance casually already having removed her headband from where it once was placed around her upper arm. Upon her arrival, the girl noticed some casual glances their way trying to determine who the new foreigners were and what kind of intentions they might have for the civilians of the village. The girl smiled brightly waving at the passerby trying to alleviate any apprehension they might be feeling at this very moment. It seemed like the stares would not linger very long before moving on to the current day’s tasks. Luckily for the team, Arina was rather inviting and innocent looking as she sort of skipped through the village pathways with a warm smile and bright eyes. She continued to smile and to wave until they reached what appeared to be a small food shop, “What about you guys?” The girl questioned turning her gaze towards her companions. She was not for sure at that very moment what she wanted to eat, so she would allow them to order first in order to bide her time in the decision making process. ‘Thank goodness,’ she was finally thankful for having traveling companions. This alleviated the stress of her constant indecision when it came to mundane choices and options.

Hanako felt sort of put out when Arina suggested just acting like a normal person and just walking in like travelers. Hanako was the worst sort of person when it came to acting normal, but she figured this would be a good chance to try, if anything. She sighed as she felt her bones shrink and the calcium redistribute itself all throughout her body, sinking back into her dense bones for later use. "I suppose it could be attempted.", she grumbled as she took her headband and placed it under her shirt, just over her heart as to keep her pride close to were she truly kept it. There was no preventing that much at least as she begrudgingly followed Arina, but kept mostly silent, as Hanako was truly having second thoughts about not just grabbing the nearest weakling and beating his teeth into his skull to prove a point and to establish themselves as the dominant force here, but there was no telling if other Rain Shinobi might be in the area monitoring this small village, so it was better not to attract that sort of attention if it existed in the area. The measure of restraint Hanako had been showing on the trip thus far would be commendable. It was truly a test of her character.
Acting like a civilian was, if anything, an insult to her stature and everything she had worked for. These pathetic Rain Country bumpkins should fear her for what she was. It was in the best interest of the mission at hand to keep moving forward as planned, and gaining the rest she knew they all needed to some degree. It still irritated her deeply as her gaze was cast at the passing villager, she made no hesitation to sneer at them rudely, if anything it was an attempt to either frighten their gaze away from her or to provoke them into an altercation in which she could justify impaling them on her bones and ripping their head off in a gruesome display of how little she actually valued human life, well, human life that existed outside of Water Country. These people were of no worth to her but to provide the team the comforts of a meal and a place to gather their stamina before proceeding to the heart of the matter in the Hidden Village of Rain. Fortunately the homely looking man, who could be described as a bit of a cretin in his own right, was cowed by her glare and he averted his gaze from the group and continued on. "Spineless...", Hanako muttered to herself, though this was not much of an insult coming from one who could grow multiple spinal chords and even remove them at will given time and practice with such a manifestation of the Dead Bone Pulse. It would be obvious to Arina and Kaito that despite acting normal, Hanako was still trying to sate her love for violence by at least appearing intimidating to anyone who dared to give her a look over. The White Rose had her thorns, despite her natural beauty, and the fact that she made even getting soaked in the rain look good did not really help the case. It was just a fact that flowers seemed to bloom brighter right after the rain, so it played straight to her character.
"I do not wish to remain longer than necessary if possible, these people annoy me.", Hanako muttered to her group as they made their way to the place they would dine. "I just hope the fight after this calm is worth it. I need some proper stimulation.", she remarked. The way she said it could possibly be taken multiple ways, from brutal honesty to downright lewd. It would likely be true either way as she was one hell of a sadomasochistic piece of work, finding joy in pain, and happiness in battle. It would be an aspect of her personality that the other two would likely adjust to in time. She had introduced them to her family so they would get some insight as to were she came from and the type of people she was fighting to bring honor to. These were strong, rough, and tough people who seemed to enjoy violence in different ways, and even their showing of affection would likely injure others outside of the clan. From the throwing of cast-iron cookware to tackling each other or even randomly throwing an attack, like Saki had demonstrated to show her desire to find approval from her elder sister.
There was just a sense that possibly the ruthlessness of the clan would likely make it hard for Hanako to accept or understand weak individuals, and that maybe a lot of the reason she got along so long with Arina and Kaito was the fact that they were all three ninja of the Hidden Mist Village, and that she recognized both of their strengths, even if she had yet to see either of them in combat. Arina was smart, and knew a lot more than she let on. Hanako got that feeling about the medical ninja who seemed quite enigmatic about her own combat skills, and then there was the hedonist, Kaito. He had missed out on the mission of rescuing the lost stray cat, but his ability to hold his own amidst the rough play of her family, and the ability to drink the strong sake' alongside her father and her cranky grandfather showed he had a bit more wherewithal than one would expect from somebody so carefree. The both of them had impressed her, but now it was her turn to show them that she was also worthy of their own respect, and she was doing her best to do so by restraining herself from acting on her raw, baser impulses. She had a habit and a reputation for doing just that in the Academy, and here in this moment, she had been demonstrating a strong desire to be more than a rabid demon of bones, ready to smash down others for the sheer sense of domination and superiority. 'I swear there's something about these two that makes me feel almost...alive.', She thought to herself, biting her lip in contemplation before she brushed a strand of her white hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
She could not describe the feeling she felt as she did her best to be worthy of the honor and respect she craved so much, but it was a longing desire for friendship. Hanako did not have any friends before Kaito and Arina, and she did not want to be just work associates. A part of her longed for more nights among her family with her squad mates, to see Kaito and Gigi duke it out over who could drink more sake' and not pass out, and for Arina to possibly learn some hearty dishes and how to fend off eager husbands who would try to sneak a bite from unfinished dishes with the finesse of a well-placed iron pan to the face. "Though, as much as I dislike the current circumstances. I would not see myself enduring this trial with anyone but you two.", she said after a period of silence. Her speaking seemed to shatter the quiet she tried to keep when she was thinking. Hanako had never really been the type to express her emotions, but in those few words, she alluded to the thoughts of Arina and Kaito and that they were more to her than just co-workers. They were her friends, if that is something they would accept. Then with that, she resumed her silent following, close behind Arina until they would reach their destination for rest and refreshment.

Kaito was pretty glad that him and Arina were both on the same page now for cooking, but now it was time to stop talking about food and start eating it. His headband was now pocketed as they walked into the small village and entered what appeared to be the only restaurant in the village. "Guess this is the best spot in town eh?..." Kaito scratched his head walking into the small establishment. They were to seat themselves and wait until the waitress had made her way over to the table asking for drink orders and delivering their menu's. "I'll take some warm tea please." The Akimichi said happily before gazing deep into the menu. "You know for as small as this place is they have one hell of a menu!" A sense of excitement rang through the air as he spoke, almost as though he were excited for the waitress to return to take his order. Among the menu, he found two different things he was interested in, which left him vexed on which option he should take up on. "Do I want sushi, or a giant bowl of ramen...." Kaito asked aloud to his team members, although he would probably take their responses very lightly and order whatever he decided on anyways.
The waitress didn't spare them much time as she would return with their drinks within just a few minutes time. Kaito knew the pressure was on now, as she asked the stereotypical 'Are you guys ready to order' question, and Kaito quickly snapped back "Yeah yeah errrr, take my order last!" As he pushed the pressure on to his teammates. This bought him a few extra minutes, and as he scanned the menu back and forth between his options he had an epiphany of sorts. "That's a wonderful idea!" The Akimichi mumbled words quietly once again as the waitress eventually made her way back to him asking for his order. "Yes, I'm gonna take both the chicken shio ramen and the Spicy Cooked Shrimp Sushi as well!" Chuckling, Kaito would fold his menu back closed and pass it to the waitress as she would leave the table. Taking a sip of his tea first, he would begin to conversate with his allies. "I'm pretty sure we're just right around the corner from the actual village now, should be any more than another half hour in walking distance. So let's try to scarf this down and get moving, what do ya think?" Realistically Kaito would have done that either way but that was besides the point, surely they would be at their destination within a hour or two.

INDENTWhile walking, Hanako made her disdain for the plan of action very obvious but tolerated the decision nevertheless; it was in the voters count to keep their appearances homely and to avoid any additional attention. Arina followed Kaito into the restaurant allowing him to seat himself and speak directly to the server who approached the trio. “I will have the same,” the young girl smiled meekly towards the server before turning her attention towards the menu. Once the server had finished their business and moved on, she looked towards Hanako who seemed to struggle so much with the very concept of blending into the crowd which in itself was quite a weakness as some missions required this kind of tact and passive play. “We should not be here for long. I agree that we should make this a quick stop and finish the remainder of our journey in a quick fashion,”she tried to ease the Kaguya into just enjoying the moment and the food in front of them because there was a good chance that they would be exhausted with what was to come next. That was assuming that someone had not gotten to their bounty first; what happened next came as somewhat of a surprise as the Kaguya made sort of sentimental statement about the journey alongside Kaito and Arina. The young girl nodded lightly in response with an obvious reciprocation. “As long as you have my back, I have yours.” She grinned wide towards the two of them as the server returned with their drinks and prompted them to order.
INDENT“You want them all… glutton,”Arina said her tone being as sharp as the edge of a blade. As it would turn out, Kaito was thinking of using the exact same tactic that Arina had been contemplating only moments ago about using her team to bide her team while ordering. She forcibly smiled while gritting her teeth and quietly cursing the young man across from her, “I will take whatever the special of the area is. Why not get the best from the best when you have the opportunity, neh?” The young girl returned the menu back to the server before picking up the tea in front of her and taking a rather generous sip of the molten liquid inside. Allowing the attendant to make their rounds around the table and scamper off before continuing on with any of their conversations. Kaito mirrored her own mindset from earlier while speaking with Hanako but put it into a bit more perspective actually knowing the travel times from having the map. “I would say that the term scarfing is disgusting but otherwise, you make a valid point… glutton,” Arina continued with using her demeaning term as an offensive nickname but really, it flowed so naturally with Kaito that even the girl herself did not quite understand her actions against him. Hanako and Arina had a very simple and tolerant relationship; Kaito and Arina would certainly have a more difficult relationship because while she enjoyed most of his antics due to him being more amiable and approachable… She also found that she could not stand being around him due to his otherwise more dislikeable traits. He had absolutely no manners and was not thoughtful of others in the slightest. On top of that, the girl still was not convinced that their first night meeting was merely a coincidence of celebratory drinking behavior. After this battle perhaps things would change as long as he was actually dependable on the field, it would not change her general dislike of him as a person but at least, she might be able to respect him as a shinobi on the field.
INDENTThe server approached with food in hand and set the appropriate plates in front of each of their squad. Arina spent the remainder of their time in the restaurant focused on finishing her meal in a prompt manner. She needed to make sure that her money was well spent and nothing was left wasted. After finishing her food entirely after a ten to fifteen minute window of time, the girl took a large swallow of her tea before throwing some ryo on the table to cover her own portion of the meal. “I am going to wait outside the gate,” the young girl abruptly stood from the table and threw her bag over her shoulder before walking away. “We should move quickly,”she stated before heading through the restaurant exit and walking away from her traveling companions. The food was delectable, particularly after so many days of quick and convenient meals. The small rest from their journey and a hearty meal was just what was needed before finishing up the remainder of their travels. The rain had severely lightened but regardless Arina soaked up the tranquility that the beads of water hitting her face would bring her and held onto the calm, seamless feeling for as long as she possibly could. When arriving at the appropriate gate, she stopped and rested her back against the sturdy material to prop herself upwards continuing to use these few moments to relax. The girl did not mean to leave so suddenly but needed a few moments to herself and with her own thoughts.

Hanako sighed as she simply waited for her order, a simple plate of maki style sushi and green tea. She did not wish to weigh herself down with a rich meal, but still gain enough nutrients and carbohydrates to fuel her body depending on the scene that they were going to walk in on in the Rain Village. She hoped that finding their target would be easy and that mopping them up would not impose too much of a risk that would likely cause much of a trouble on her or her squad. "Remember, you two, play nice or I'm gonna think there's some funny business between you.", she said with a bit of a smirk though between bites to Arina as she picked on Kaito for being a glutton. What Hanako was not too far from the truth as it was how her family expressed affection toward one another, and she had yet to really let herself believe there were more tender ways of expressing the same feelings of love and appreciation. Something so weak as sweet affection sounded like a poor way to truly express the strength of the emotions behind the concept of love to the White Rose. Some good old fashioned name calling, and the occasional slap across the face seemed to convey the message better in her opinion.
With her food completed and devoured, not as fast as Arina had completed her own meal, Hanako found herself finished before Kaito to whom she looked at with a careful glare. Her eyes seemed to bore holes through her squad-mate as she waited impatiently for him to devour the large order he had placed. "Just because I appreciate you does not mean I appreciate your habit of turning a pit-stop for food into a banquette opportunity.", she said with a scary coldness to her voice as she continued to watch him eat, if anything, to make the experience very awkward for Kaito and possibly encourage him to eat faster in order to get her to halt her eerie staring. This was all apart of how she felt she had learned to deal with certain nuances presented by either of her team members. There was a need for a focused individual, and with her ambitions, Hanako certainly fit the bill in times like this. She wanted to get in on Michio's bounty, and it was clear that further delays were not on the menu, especially since Arina had gotten a head start on the pair.
Though with Kaito's large order, the game got boring, and Hanako stood up from the table before placing a couple ryo on the surface as a tip. "Let's get a move on, get it 'To Go' or something.", she said as she walked off to go join Arina in preparation to leave this annoying country bumpkin of an outskirts town. There was no need for her to say anything further on the matter and thus she remained silent as she awaited Kaito's approach and rejoining of the group. This was one of those times when a sense of urgency was crucial, least anyone beat them to the punch and try to cash in before they could.
As the caravan crossed into Rain country the weather got gloomier by the second. It was so dreary by the time the cart stopped that Juugou almost felt depressed. The insects had done their work and had fallen off of Sorain's arms once their contents had been emptied. The medic rose to his feet slowly in order to cramp his leg muscles, which were sore from the bumpy ride without proper cushioning. He gathered up the his bags and the scroll Sai had provided as he got off the vehicle. He had let them talk it out while studying the contents of the scroll. They were mostly high level techniques, but Juugou knew he would be able to handle the strain of using them. The Aburame stood to the side ready to help Sorain, if that was what he decided to be called, down from the caravan. Once they were all down and ready Juugou took the moment to ask, "Which way, Captain?"

When the caravan came to a stop, Sai gave a grunt of disapproval. The ride had been fast but terribly uncomfortable and his lower back protested loudly to the abuse it had suffered during the last few hours. Stepping out gingerly from the caravan, he accepted Juugou's help down as if it had been offered to him. "That way." He grunted out, gesturing to the small village that was a short walking distance down a dirt road that extended from the main road.
Leaning back, he allowed his back to stretch until a string of loud pops could be heard, a sigh of gratitude escaping you as he did. "Lets go see if we can make some new friends." Friends that would help sneak them into the village without having to go through any check points or shinobi security. The last thing they needed was to be found and interrogated, foreign countries were never truly friendly to shinobi from other nations unless they were official representatives. Shifting through his cloak, he pulled out a stack of bounty sheets, there were roughly fifty in all. Among them were the faces of Kaito Arata, Michio Kaguya, Notwen Uchiha, and Shinken Uchiha. "There a few names in there that I'm interested in finding, Ryu Takaya for instance. A thousand ryo for a murder that stalks the countryside of this dreary land.
However you may notice a familiar face: Michio Kaguya, you met him back in Aren. There's a nice five thousand ryo to bring him back alive to Sand, I'm hoping you could talk into coming peacefully." Sai spoke as he began making his way towards the town. His eyes watched the townspeople carefully, tracking them to see if anyone's behavior became erratic or nervous from their arrival. Thankfully the trio didn't bring the wrong type of attention and allowed the man to spend the time to sort through his most recent battles, remembering the moves of his opponents and how to replicate them. "There's also Shinken Uchiha, supposedly he's out here, however if he's grouped up with Michio already... perhaps it'll be best if we don't approach them. I'm not in the mind of getting into a large scale battle this close to the village, it'll very likely end in us getting arrested. Now where to start..." The group was in the center of the village, which wasn't saying much by the size of it but it allowed Sai the chance to survey the surroundings again as he took his time deciding what they would do next.

Although much larger amounts of food were ordered by the Akimichi, he was cutting through his several plates of food much much quicker than the other two. Arina and Hanako would both finish their dinner slightly faster, he wouldn't be left in the dust as he'd shove down the remainder of sushi. His mouth was so full he would not to his waitress on the way out, quickly handing her more than the needed amount of ryo as he would follow his teammates out.
Walking outside he would scan the area for teammates. Hanako wasn't too much further ahead but Arina had already made it to her destination and was leaning against the gate. "Heygh hole uppp!" His words were muffled as the drunk was still chomping down his food. Kaito would begin to jog to catch up with his teammates, but would halt instantly upon laying his eyes upon familiar faces. The group of three leaf ninja and Kaito would look each other in the faces for a few moments before any words were said. "Sai and Juugou, s**t! They must have been following the bounty as well." Another man accompanied the group as well, but Kaito had no recollection of the man. As he looked around he knew there were no appropriate hiding spots that would save him from this fight, thus he would be left to face his problems head on. Surely with him being caught in a dead open area, there was no chance of him escaping. Sighing, Kaito would swallow the remainder of his sushi and speak up. "Hey, nice weather outside today, eh fellas?" Kaito was unsure why of all words these came from his mouth, but he did have a niche for saying stupid stuff in the worst moments so he supposed this was just another one of his dumb outbursts.
When the caravan came to a stop, Sorain hopped out with the rest of his party. There wasn't really much of a question to what he was going to do though he did appretiate being given the option. He was getting tired of being moved around without his will, so regardless of the fact that he has absolutely no where else to go, he felt better about staying in their company by his own will. Besides that, this man Sai seemed to be his best shot at finding out what happened to him, and if what he said was true about him being his dead brother, then he imagined that Sai would be just as invested in finding out the truth as he was. So for now, he would assist in what ever the man wanted.
During the remaining bits of the ride, Sorain had coursed over the scroll that Sai had provided. There were two in particular that he seemed the most interested in, but what was most shocking to him with how easily he was able to decipher the text. Each sequence of hand seals and motions he could imagine Sai doing in his head almost as if he'd seem them before.
Upon arrival, Sorain remains silent. he listens to Sai's instructions for how he wanted this to play out and nods, waiting for him to signal there next move. He was here to back up Sai and Juuguo, not to make decisions.
A shiver ran up Sai's spine, his body tensing as he heard the familiar voice call out to him. He couldn't help but grin. "Oh man... Is today my lucky day?" The words were muttered out, barely audible to even his companions, the grin widening before fading from his face. An emotionless expression replaced it. "You-" Sai began as he turned around to face Kaito, his deadpan eyes staring the genin down with an impassive look. "really are like a cockroach. Every where I go, there you are scurrying along."
Sighing he let his eyes off of Kaito for a short moment, looking around to tally how many civilians were in the immediate vicinity. He counted twenty... and two shinobi, one of which he recognized immediately. "Ah. That makes more sense now. I always wondered why you were so intent on figuring out who I was... you were a spy from Kiri?" The man stated more than asked with a grunted laugh, "And that explains why there's a bounty on you. Good money too, especially if you're alive." As Sai spoke, his lip twitched as he tried to keep himself from smiling, "I'm not too sure if I want to oblige.
In fact, if I remember correctly its a bounty for you dead or alive." With each word, the man's composure began to break. His lips spread into a wide grin again and his eyes were bright with excitement. With barely a turn of his head he spoke to his two companions, "Evacuate the civilians immediately... And you see those two women standing by the gate? I don't care how but keep them entertained and far from my fight.... Do. NOT. Kill her." He finished his punctuation by gesturing to Arina. It was unfortunate that she was there and he could not have her meddling in his affairs, but nor would he suffer her death. "Guess you're finally going to get your wish, drunkard."

Kaito knew the day would come when he would come across the leaf ninja again, he just never would have guessed it would have came this soon. The mission given to him by his village certainly may have doomed him with this situation, and unfortunately he wasn't within the walls of his city for protection. Surely he would have no choice but to fight here, and with being separated from his team would have little chance for reinforcement. Sai was known to be a war veteran of the past, and surely even now was much more skilled in battle than himself. One thing was for certain though, Kaito wasn't going to go down without swinging.
Surely his teammates would have not even the slightest idea what was going on right now, and obviously there was no time to tell the tale. Kaito couldn't tell the tale without threatening his country with war anyways, so for the time being he would keep his mouth shut.
...On the other hand Sai was doing anything but keeping his mouth shut. The man would go on and on, Kaito often wondered if any words came from his mouth that weren't foul or insulting. Nevertheless this situation was starting to get worse by the moment. Kaito gritted his teeth as feelings of nervous and anger grew, but he wouldn't show this to give Sai the satisfaction. "A bounty you say? I hadn't even the slightest idea." His voice came through calm and collect as he asked the question. "Spy for Kiri? You really are crazy aren't you? I'm sure the bounty came since I left that shithole of a village..."Kaito shook his head back and forth as though Sai's words were that of a fallacy. The genin had no real intentions of telling his secrets, he would take them to the grave if need be.
Upon Sai finishing he would turn towards his allies and mentioning his teammates whom now stood by the gate. The look on his face was that of pure confusion as he overheard the words about not harming Arina. "Why in the hell is she so worried about Arina?..." This situation vexed him but currently he had larger things he would need to attend to. "I don't really want anything to do with you, but doesn't look like I have too many options now do I?" Inhaling deeply before exhaling, Kaito would close his eyes for just a mere few seconds to calm himself down. "Gonna need to stay on top of my game or I'm probably a dead man.I don't want this b*****d be the guy who kills me though..." Kaito would reopen his eyes now entering an offensive stance. He was ready for the fight ahead of him.
Hanako Kaguya, the White Rose of the Kaguya family in the Hidden Village of the Mist looked over to the confrontation that was about to break out in the middle of this small country-bumpkin town outside of the Hidden Village of the Rain. She noted that there were ninja of the Mist's rival village of the Hidden Leaf, and one of them was addressing Kaito and indicating his desire to fight her team-mate uninterrupted. "Sheesh, He did not let us in on this bit of intell, huh? People wonder why women are so detail oriented!? It's because of s**t like this!", she growled animatedly as now their mission had not only been slowed up by a pit stop for food and rest, but now a group of ninja from the Village she had been trained to hate the most had showed up and one of them was picking a fight with Kaito, apparently with the intent to kill him because he, too, had a bounty on his head.
Sai, appeared to have something personal to settle, something outside of what his words themselves indicated. His actions were those of a man who had honor, to a degree, and seemed like he thought things would all work out in his way. People like him made Hanako sick to her stomach. These were the idealistic folks who thought the world would work to their designs and everything would turn out okay, and that regardless of the circumstance, they would return home to see their families at the end of the day. Not only were these people flawed in how they approached fights, but also in the fact that they were also stupid dangerous. They were trapped in a delusional cycle of thinking, and in a way that made them the type you wanted to avoid an outright confrontation with, due to the circumstances they presented when they approached a situation on the other side. 'Evacuate the citizens, entertain the girls...Don't kill Arina. What's this mean about me? Well screw it. This guy's nuts.', she thought to herself as she looked from Sai to her other team-mate. Kaito seemed to have his own issues, and she needed to know how or what to do according to Arina's designs so she could coordinate with the medic effectively.
"So, Arina-chan, looks like we get a bit of a warm-up. Just tell me what you want me to do. I, personally, have no interest in meddling in Kaito's little honor duel of sorts. Just as long as he lives in the end.", Hanako said with a bit of concern for her medical friend's decisions. She was more of the level head, and Hanako was more of the kind that sort of just let herself get lost in a fight, and let the blood-lust of her clan take over, indiscriminately killing until she felt satisfaction like a predator does when lost in the frenzy of a kill. There was no reason, yet, for her to make a move until she was told. It was a show of restraint on her end, one she had been working on during the boat ride from Water to Fire Country.

The RP Thread - (RP) Small Village has been created to represent our current location and will be added to this subforum as a permanent RP Location.
As there is about to be at least 2 Fights going on, I am moving "Kakone" "DenShazo" "ele360" and "jake23482" to the new RP Location so to prevent over cluttering a single thread with massive amounts of Battle Posts.
Despite being in 2 Different Threads, we are all still RPically together in the same location and as such should still react off of each other like normal. This is being done solely to prevent clutter, not to actually RPically split us off. As such if you wish to be interfering in the fight between Sai/Kaito feel free to continue posting here as we are staying in this thread due to our Battle already beginning here.
Sai nodded appreciatively as he watched his comrades ensure the safety of the villagers before making their way to stand directly in the way of Arina and the other shinobi from Water. It would be preferable that neither of them got hurt, they were from his homeland and for that reason alone he would rather them be safe. But if he had to tie Juugou and Sorain's hands too much it would them that he would have to fear for and if he had to pick the safety of his comrades or strangers that simply were born in the same nation, the choice was simple. "Tch..." He didn't have the time to pay them any further attention and so long as they all kept to the side and played nice he wouldn't have to worry about any further distractions.
And that meant he could have his full attention on his prey. "You could always make things easy on me and slash your throat for me." The man suggested with a blank stare. His hands raised up a moment later to flow through a swift set of complicated and foreign seals, "You'd save me the trouble of having to gut you like a pig myself." He continued, punctuating the end of his sentence by holding the last hand seal before letting his hands drop back down to his sides. There would be no noticeable change to the man nor the surroundings, however he could feel his chakra surge through his body invigorating his muscles. He itched to reach for the weapons that hid beneath his cloak but he controlled the impulse and continued to stand their watching Kaito. Watching him still as his bright blue eyes bled to the deep red of the Sharingan. "Go on then, make your choice... I'm patient but I wont wait much longer."

The Akimichi shook his head slowly back and forth as words kept flowing from his opponents mouth. "Holy s**t, do you ever stop with all the weird insults?" Kaito growled as he began to show his irritation. His comments were referring to Sai's words about cutting his own throat and the pig comment, what a strange sense of humor he thought. Both Juugou and the stranger began to evacuate the small village before the fight would start, this may have been the first time Kaito and Sai had agreed on something.
Sai had finished weaving his hand seals yet nothing out of the ordinary was happening which slightly left Kaito on edge. This was that feeling of calm before the storm, but he wondered what sort of mischief the Orasakai was planning, what those strange hand seals had actually done for him. "Nothings happening?... Taijutsu maybe?" The Akimichi had a million little thoughts running through his head as he would try to assess the situation, but eventually decided that surely he would find out soon enough and that he would waste no more time on this subject.
Turning his attention from Sai's hands he would soon look the man in his blood red eyes. "Guess I have no choice do I?" As the boy would finish his sentence he would begin to rotate through several handseals. His hands moved quickly as he strung through several techniques in just a mere few seconds, and unlike Sai his changes would be noticeable. For a few seconds nothing would change, but shortly after noticeable changes would take effect. A red band would manifest around his neck, then quickly begin to crawl across his entire body. Several glowing gold markings would appear over his now red skin, and his eyes would begin to glow the same as well. This was Kaito's curse seal placed upon him. "Those eyes, you got some fun secrets I see." A grin would appear on his mouth now, as he would continue speaking. "I guess I've got some hidden abilites myself."
