Vanni had already nodded and was leaving by the time the foul-mouthed Nurse Joy and the magician girll had begun to argue. The Nurse had been right- the pier was easy enough to find once she had made her way done the stairs. "Neat set-up," she remarked as she delicately made her way down. She was careful to go as far she could, remembering the Nurse's warning.
Finally, she stood at the very edge of the pier, eyes dark and curious. Vanni knelt cautious, touching the sea-worn wood of the boat's hull "Are you all right if we do?" she asked.
The voice her head was a bit slow, but eventually spoke up. ... yes. If it will move us forward
Phoebe made a quiet noise- even if her strange mistress was find in the boat, she'd rather be in the Pokeball. Vanni nodded, and returned. Then she carefully steadied herself and stepped into the boat, ready to continue on.

Rissa hummed lightly as she showed up at the pokemon Center, having taken her time walking to her destination. She enjoyed slow walks, but this one left her in a small predicament, being that she now had no one left to guide her to the pier.
"Hello~ Where exactly is the pier!" she called to the back, standing with her hands in the pockets of her pants and smiling a little. She was ready for this adventure, already had a neat play track ready to blast through her headphones when she got there.

A Porygon would float towards her with the directions in it's mouth. It would seem that instead of telling every trainer that came through here ...the Nurse Joy in charge had put up a very simple map in the lobby area. It simply showed arrows going around the building and taking the stairs.
She probably thought there was too many trainers interfering with her work now as the directions would be clear to Rissa.

The girl blinked and turned to look at the map blinking a little as she took it all in, before nodding. It seemed easy enough, something she wouldn't have much trouble following.
After a few moments of staring at the map, she headed back to the pier, humming softly as she glanced at the boats, slipping in one. Her adventure truly started here, and she knew her life would never be the same.[Exit to Beginnings Island]

Raven walked around the Pokemon Center, never once even glancing at the doors. His Professor at least had been able to supply proper directions to the Pier, something it would seem others lacked. Making his way down the stairs in silence, the child did not stop till he was absolutely certain he'd reached his intended destination.
Climbing into one of the small boats and untying it, the faintest quirk appeared in his eyebrow as the finned head of a Seadra appeared from beneath the waves. Well at least he wouldn't have to waste precious energy on rowing rather then fighting...

Victoria couldn't help noting the location of this place. Though she hadn't had the pleasures of ever entering those walls, she wanted to know where it was for future references. She also noted something else as she went around to the back of the building and started down the descending stairway.
If she needed to come back to heal her pokemon ...there would be no Professor she would have to content with. Did that mean, that it was alright to return to heal?
If so, it made sense. No Professor would want to have to be bother with telling their students time and time again ...go to the pokemon center, and since, its the first place one would find once they arrived from the pier ...she could take it to also mean ...don't go see your professor with your pokemon injured.
In her mind such a set up was both a warning and a threat .....as she reached the waters, and would find that she wasn't lucky enough for a Lapras. But, she never like those type anyway, instead ...she was smiling quite broadly at the Seaking.
Power was something that she craved ....as she allowed herself to be taken to the island.

I'm not sure if she's in a bad mood because of stress or if she's just a b***h. Maybe both. Nen walked out the doors and to the back. He made sure to go as far as he could, since stopping at the first ledge would presumably result in him falling to his death. Which wasn't quite his current goal. He climbed into one of the boats and laid down in it, staring at the sky as the boat began to move towards the island and his life began anew. No longer a boy of Sootopolis, but a student of Akumu. Blurry images seemed to pass into the girl's dreams as she stayed in an unconscious state. First she saw the Roggenrola charging towards her and then strangely a pokemon pulling it off of her. It was a Sandshrew. But that small pokemon couldn't have dragged her halfway across the island. She faintly remembered the Phanpy that had laughed when she had been seeing strange mirages. Had he been there too? Regardless the girl opened her eyes and all the pain and everything came swarming back. Where exactly was she? The girl sat up slowly, glancing down at her pokeballs clipped to her belt. One was missing! It wasn't Ryuu's, it was her newly caught Sandshrew! What had happened while she had been asleep?

"So, how are you feeling?" "Like s**t huh?"
Nurse Joy replies behind her. Probably a pretty scary thing considering ...as the woman's hands were on her hips. A water type squirtle was at her side for a moment before finally slipping into the water and going away with just a few quick movements of his legs.
"I take it you got into a fight and got the s**t beat out of you." "So let's see about getting you back to the center ...you got injuries that needs to be tended to."
The Nurse would literally pick up Riku and quite literally take her to the center. There she would find herself having her pokemon healed, and her as well. Though while the pokemon got a more instantaneous healing .....Riku would find herself leaving with a cast on one leg.
There was nothing that would heal a broken leg better than time.

Riku looked relieved that Ryuu seemed to be perfectly fine. There were a couple scars around his neck from the viciousness of the Growlithe that she had encountered and so the female had hugged her pokemon, apologizing to him. She hadn't been strong enough and she had sent him into a battle that was too much for him. The girl thanked the Nurse profusely before balancing on crutches and moving towards the door. She would now have to face her Professor and admit to her failure. The girl hoped that he would give her a second chance to prove herself, she had been so close and yet hadn't managed to get the item.

Riku hurried to where she knew the dock was located, before standing and waiting for Lucien. The boy moved a little slower then she had hoped, but she wasn't one to talk. The girl was moving along on crutches.. She was waiting for him to arrive when she spotted him. Making her way on the boat, she started talking as she walked up. "Our mission is to find a chrono stone and also to add another pokemon to our team."

Lucien walked toward the girl- Riku, that was it- as she waited by the Pokemon Center. Unfortunately, he had had... difficulties, finding this place. Embarrassing, to be sure, and he had the distinct impression that Renoux, in its own silent way, was laughing at him. Which was infuriating, to say the least.
"Not all of us are magnets, little one," he muttered to the Beldum, who still persisted in staring at him. Lucien sighed, then nodded to Riku as he passed, walking slowly enough so that he could stay behind the girl and her companion. He nodded as they went up the ramp, taking in the details, few that they were.
A new Pokemon, eh? That will be most invigorating. He nodded happily, eager to be off.
"Lead the way, mon cheri."

Nick walked into the pokemon center, head down as he approached the counter.
"I'd... uh... I'd like to heal my pokemon, please," he said, holding up a pokemon egg and knowing that the nurse would know what had happened.

Nick would find no one was actually at the counter at first, but it wouldn't take him long to hear voices from the back. "Become a Pokemon Doctor he said, the chicks be all over you he said. He forgot to mention they'd all be ten or Pokemon!" A male voice gave a grumble then shout. Didn't sound like he was having the best day ever...or maybe it was a mid-life crisis a decade or so early.
The person that would next greet the boy was not Nurse Joy...or at least not the one he'd likely expected. Long pink hair tied back in a loose ponytail, the act did nothing to hinder the bangs nearly covering his eyes. He was without a doubt male, and he didn't look particularly jovial, but the name-tag most certainly read Joy.
His eyes narrowed slightly when he realized the next patient was male. He wasn't in to little girls, but he cared for little boys even less. He sighed, scratching his head "Great, nother brat's gotten his Pokemon killed on the first day" He grumbled, taking the egg from Nick, and then holding it out toward an empty space.
A moment's pause, nothing happened. "....oh for peat sake..." Taking two fingers to his mouth, the male Pokemon medical practitioner gave a sharp whistle. The next moment two Pokemon would arrive, a Buneary and an Eevee both wearing nurse caps. The Buneary took the egg gently between both her paws, stumbled slightly because of the weight, then spoke as she turned ">Fine fine...but I'm not helping because I want to or anything!<" She called out, though mostly only Pokemon could understand her.
Suddenly the Eevee began bouncing around the Buneary, though her eyes never left the man ">I'll do it! I'll do it!<" When neither the man gave the order, nor did the Buneary hand over the egg, the Eevee promptly ran back to the man and began to pull at his coat frantically ">Why don't you love me!?<"
"She'll be back in a minute" The man told nick with a clearly fake smile, ignoring the actions of the Eevee.
-----------
The sound of a crash came from the back room, followed by the shriek of a Buneary came several minutes later. "....it was an Onix in that egg wasn't it? Well there goes my paycheck..." The man spoke flatly, sounding a bit disgruntled as he turned away from the child.
A moment later the Buneary come through the back doors, looking more then a little disheveled ">I HATE YOU!<" She screamed as she stepped behind the counter. Following relatively closely behind her was an Onix less then half the size of the one he'd started today with. An understandable fact considering this time it was newly hatched. Growth would take time.
"Here" The man handed Nick a Pokeball "The old one is useless now, you'll need to chuck this at it" He spoke plainly, clearly not caring.

Nick took the pokeball. He was still upset, but more confused now than anything. He looked at the Onix and the Onix back at him.
"Hey, Arthur," Nick spoke timidly. "Are you angry for losing?"
The Onix cocked its head to the side and looked quizzically at Nick. It couldn't find a way to speak, so it just gave Nick a happy look. None of the previous memories remained, but it didn't matter. He was happy. He was "Arthur"? Sure, sounded nice.
Nick could see something wrong here, but didn't quite understand everything right now. Did Arthur remember? Why did he look so... happy? It was nice to see the change, but at the same time frightening.
"Hey," Nick said in a small voice. "Let's focus on keeping you safe from here, k?" Arthur gave a happy nod and Nick tossed a pokeball towards it. It obediently went inside without a struggle.
Arthur was happy to have a new friend, whoever he was.
Nick spoke to the pokeball. "I have a lot to learn still. I'm going to study this time before going forward. I won't let what happened last time happen again." He stood and minimized the pokeball, then headed out the door. He had to make a quick stop before heading to the Battle Room.
