It was as she was steadily hacking through a thick vine that was almost more of a branch, Howlite caught side of her other arm, now also showing signs of the hives. Of course, she chose a plant she must've been slightly allergic too. Unless, of course, all humans were allergic to youma plants...
Hissing slightly, as it began to itch, she wasn't paying very close attention to where her rock struck next...

The udders were fading from her vision, but still persisted in remaining a part of reality to some extent. Curiously, when she reached up to grab them she felt more like she was gripping more of the flower's sharp spiny leaves. So, taking the practical route to removing them, she began to rip them off with as much strength as she could muster.

"Ooh," Was that just her, or was the air a bit thicker? No, it was slightly discolored, too, from one of the 'buds' on her youmaweed, and she caught herself breathing it in just a little too late. Covering her mouth and nose with a hand, her eyes widened as the world got a lot brighter.
The laughter of the Doom and Gloom Girls tickled her skin, and she found herself giggling as well, haphazardly yanking at the foliage in her way.

It was going fantastically! Apparently that magical youma spore was doing wonders for Howlite's energy, because she forgot her hives as she began to dent the massive amounts of protective growth around the heart of the plant.
Still, there were hours left of work.

When the last of the udders were removed and flung to the ground, her vision cleared and she realized that she had been pulling leaves all along. Maybe those spores it had shot out when she first assaulted it had been clouding her mind? Sugilite wouldn't put it past the plant, and pulled a strip of cloth from the bag she still carried, wrapping it around her nose and mouth. She wouldn't be breathing in anymore of the plants' emissions.

It was easier to get in and tear, now that reality was back and regulating everything that came in through her eyes. Sugilite stood back and eyed the plant closely, before deciding which side was looking a little heavy and attacking it again. It was important to keep balance in mind while pruning a plant back, it would be no good lopsided.

Soon she was tugging at the roots of the overgrowth, trying to get at the center of the problem...
"Ow," A hand slapped to her neck, where she'd felt a sudden, sharp pain. It was then that her consciousness returned, to find that some of the bees that had been plaguing Osumilite and Benitoite were now breaking off to attack her, instead. Had the damn plant called her? She wouldn't put it past it.
Or maybe the rock was tired of being used. Either way, "OW."

The plant looked around half as large as when she had started, Sugilite noted with satisfaction. Of course, it was still huge and overgrown, but she felt like her days spent carefully pruning back rose and lilac hadn't been for nothing. If this wasn't in-work application of a diversified skill set, she wasn't sure what was.
