Kohaku shifted his weight as a faint smirk flickered across his face. His form dissolved into dust, which he suspected would startle Aisha. "Which 'Boss' you talkin' 'bout?" he drawled, crouching atop the chimney as his fingers flickered slightly, the guitar seemingly flying to his hand on its own, though the slight ripple of blue light gave away the 'threads' attached to it. He knew he'd used the 'Dust Clone' trick just to tease Aisha, though it could be used in other ways as well.

Her ears perked as he disappeared then reappeared again in a new location. Handy trick. She scratched her cheek, "Whichever one is coming into the office with me. No offense, but if Bruce shows up, I'm ditching you." She informed him. She eyed him speculatively, Really handy trick...she thought again, No wonder he's hunted.

Kohaku shrugged one shoulder. "Doesn't bother me any; some of the illusionary talents I can use tend to be quite startling, especially when you're watching the victim," he said with a grin as he somersaulted, dropping onto the roof lightly. "I've found a few others with special talents... but none that I could teach some of mine to... I'm fairly sure others can learn them, really," he said as he flicked a hand, a small kunai materializing almost instantaneously in his hand, or so it seemed. He had actually had it palmed the entire time.

"Mm-hm." Aisha nodded and said nothing for long moments. Finally her ears perked again, "So you coming with me?" If they delayed too much longer, she'd be late....not that she really cared all that much but if she was bringing Kohaku with her, she wanted time to show him around a little.

Kohaku shrugged one shoulder again, taking a half step before leaping fluidly to land just beside her. "Lead the way," he said simply.

Aisha grinned and made her way off the roof and down to the street. She moved quickly, unlocking her car door. Naturally it was a sports car, white with racing stripes the same color as her eyes when she was in a rage. Also naturally, she drove fast, whipping around corners and cars, snapping peevishly at drivers that irritated her, and screeching into a parking spot near the downtown office, nipping it just before another motorist. She snarled aggressively when it looked like the guy would argue and he sped away quickly.
Returning her attention to Kohaku, she jerked her head towards the the left, "It's down this way." She said and started walking.

Kohaku tilted his head slightly, having been riding in the car rather than flying, since he knew flying in would draw attention from those he didn't need bothering him. He didn't say anything, but followed her. He sniffed slightly in the air, picking up scents of gun oil, leather, and human sweat.

They were a few buildings down. Aisha led him to Chane's and Bonds Bail Bondsman and pushed in. It was neat inside, if a little threadbare. Aisha nodded to their receptionist/file clerk/office manager, a pocket Venus of a woman with coal black hair that was cut into a Betty Page style. She raised her brow at Kohaku, giving him a once over with artfully made up green eyes before returning to her work. Aisha led him into the back and shoved into the door with the word Office written on a piece of paper and tacked to the door.
"Do you ever knock?" Chane groused. He was a whip-thin man with steel grey hair. Brown eyes looked Kohaku over, "What's this?" He looked at Aisha.
"My new partner. You don't' have to report him if you don't want to. Pay him under the table; everyone knows how much you hate taxes. Chane, this is Kohaku, Kohaku, this is my boss Chane."

Kohaku tilted his head fractionally. "Nice to meet you; I'm usually best when it comes to slipping into the heads of the jumpers, thinking the way they do," he said with a faint half smile. He knew the man would interpret it as being extremely observant with details and thinking outside the box. He doubted the man would realize he meant he could literally track the thoughts of the bail jumpers. He had other talents he hadn't revealed to Aisha yet, ones he found very useful when deterring certain kinds of people.

Chance's eyes narrowed on the young man. Not human, strong, fast, perfect, he qualified in a few seconds. Aisha hadn't wanted a partner, had resisted it, and everyone he forced to go with her always ended up injured. Now she was willingly bringing him someone to watch her back. Finally he nodded, "Alright, get to work."
Aisha blinked, her ears perked, "What? That's it?"
Chance looked up from his paperwork again and scowled, "You're still here? You." He turned his gaze back Kohaku, "We'll see how you do today, when you come back, we'll talk payment. Now please, get her outta here."
Aisha was indeed gaping at her boss.

Kohaku grinned, trying not to chuckle at Aisha's reaction. Should get a camera; I'm certain it's rare to see Aisha-chan's reaction end up like this, he thought.

Aisha, was still gaping at her boss.
Chane's scowl became thunderous, "Seriously, get her outta here!" He snapped at Kohaku.

Kohaku tilted his head slightly, snapping his fingers. He deliberately added a touch of wind to make it sound like a firecracker going off to startle Aisha out of her funk. "Keep gaping and people will want to keep you in an aquarium, lass," he teased.

Chane didn't bat an eyelash at the talent Kohaku but he did wince at the shriek that Aisha unleashed. He watched her tail puffed up in her surprise.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" She shrieked.
"Get the hell out of my office!" Chane snapped.
Aisha jumped then spun and fled the office. She stopped by the front desk, gasping for breath.
"Business as usual, I see." The woman said and handed Aisha a stack of files. When Aisha didn't acknowledge, she rolled her eyes and extended them to Kohaku, "I see she's going to be useless for awhile. Here are your bail jumpers for the day." She said.

Kohaku took the files, trying not to chuckle at Aisha's reaction to his teasing. Fortunately the only outward sign that gave away his amusement was a upward curl at the edges of his mouth.
