Kaniedie sat on the edge of a rooftop, quietly staring down at the city from her perch. Usually when someone was so high up they would feel afraid of falling down to the ground or something of the like, but to her the closeness of the sky and the distance to the sky was welcoming- her wings could save her even if her reflexes couldn't. Sighing, she moved her gaze to the dimly shining Moon. Its pale luminescence bleaching the darkened city-scape around her, it was... Calming. 'if only I had something to do other than relax... I hate sitting about doing nothing....' sighing again, she stood and free fell off the building, grabbing onto an edge before hitting the ground and swinging herself up onto the little platform before walking off.

Howls echoed through the empty city streets, the Moon shining brightly from its perch in the midnight sky. Shadows danced in the faint light, suddenly a burning demon tore past the scene and through a series of dark alleys, a shadow chasing angrily after it.
Kaniedie slashed the irritating demon in half after finally cornering the agile thing in a dead end alley, her runic sword causing the screaming thing to burst into an agonizing flame before finally fading to a blackish ash. Her temper had been flared after the damn thing had tried to decieve her with its little 'helpless orphan' guise, she had never really liked their whole deceit thing... Sighing, she rested against her sword, running across a city to catch it had been exhausting "Guess I'm more tired than I thought, never would've guessed that little thing would be so damned fast though... Whew, this line of work's been getting busy lately, maybe I should try fighting with a partner..."

Fangs wings carried him slowly above the city. Their dark embrace gave anyone who saw them a shiver. But they were the only things he had. Fang looked down at the people below one pointed at him and said something to the person next to her. "I must look like a demon from all the way up here." With a beat of his wings he landed at the top of a very tall building. "Where is it?" Fangs eyes scanned all the stores below.

Ryu made his way through the city. He wasn't to sure why, but something was telling him that he needed to be here. Though coming at nighttime might have not been the best idea. Anything could happen, I mean this place IS close to an academy of creatures like himself with many different powers. He even thought he heard someone screaming not to far from here. He looked to see that girl from the music room sitting down, she looked exhausted. "H-Hey...are you okay?"

Kaniedie glanced up quickly, surprised by Ryu's sudden appearance after not noticing him there. Straightening from her tired pose, she tried to hide how exhausted she really was "Me? Yeah. I'm fine, that demon gave me quite the work out though, ran all over the city before I finally exterminated it..." stretching, she sheathed her sword on her back-sheath and wiped off a few smears of blood from her clothes before turning back to the boy "What about you? These parts are rather dangerous for students to be walking around in."

Ryu watched the girl for a while. She was trying to make herself look like she wasn't exhausted, but she didn't do a good enough job. However, he decided to play along with it. "Oh, well I was just wondering around, I wasn't really aware that this was a dangerous place. Hehe." He laughed nervously, seeming to not realize another demon preparing to attack Ryu and his friend. As the demon lunged forth, Ryu's eyes immediately changed to a more serious look as he grabbed the demon by the neck, shocking it to death afterward. He then looked back over to Kaniedie and smiled. "U-Um...sorry about that"

"Good thing you're tougher than you look, gave that one quite the surprise" Kaniedie smiled and waved away his apology as she took a quick look around to make sure there wasn't any immediate danger "Nah, its fine. I'm used to them jumping out like that, I'm just- normally- not so tired when they do though... Well then, want to wander with me? I still have a demon or two to hunt down before I can head back to the campus."

Fang caught a whiff of burning in the wind."Strange I should go look." He stretched and jumped from the building. At the last second he beat his wings and landed with a light tap in an alley. Fang folded his wings taking a more human look and put his hood on to conceal himself better. Walking away from the ally he followed the scent finding two people chating where the scent lead. "Hm that can't be right."

"I'm Kaniedie Wolfsbane, demon-slayer and mercenary..." Kaniedie cautiously took his hand, still not used to more Human customs and was slightly confused. Suddenly a new scent came over her senses, turning she looked in the direction of the stranger "And who might you be?"
