By the time Gale had managed to balance haphazardly on the chunk of ice he was perched on, there was a tremendous crash, and both Ariane and Bix went tumbling down into the water with an enormous splash.

Gale winced automatically; a part of him wanted to go back and help, but he knew it wouldn't do any good.

Plus he wasn't entirely certain that he should even approach Ariane, especially with that look on her face.

And Bix had been so close...

"I know that, Ginny," Gale said irritably, but that was mostly due to the fact that he couldn't even remember which path Tika had stepped in.

"Here goes nothing," he mumbled.


[ Going from E3 to D3, then hopping quickly to D4.

Bix followed Gale, dripping wet and now SNEEZING. It had seemed, for a while at least, that his allergies had adjusted to the island. But apparently they were back... or was he getting sick?

He was probably getting sick.

He sort of grabbed onto Gale's coat, hoping that being close would keep them from being cold but Gale had hit the water just as many times as he had and so all he had within in his grasp was icy, damp coat.

"I'm.. so.. cold.." He sneezed again. "We need to get out of here. FASTER." His teeth were audibly chattering. Gale seemed to be safe where he was so Bix joined him on the same square and then once again made a break for the other side. Almost all of the ice on the other side was broken so he tried to get to the only stable looking spot.

[[ Bix moved from F3 -> E3 -> D3... he's freezing and in a hurry so he's also running to C3 -> B3 -> B2 -> B1 -> A1 if possible. ]]

Gale very nearly toppled backwards when Bix grabbed the back of his jacket, wobbling quite unsteadily on his feet.

"I'm going as fast as I can!" he snapped, teeth chattering so violently it felt as if they were going to vibrate right out of his skull. "And stop sneezing on me!"

Bix had already moved before Gale could wallop him, and, glaring at his friend, hopped after him as fast as humanly possible.

Bix had made it! Unfortunately his path had been followed by Before and the ice had broken apart once more, sending his friend back in the drink. Gale also seemed to get to safety just fine and he'd taken a seperate path.

"F-f-f-follow Gale's path!" He tried to instruct their team but he was still shivering. Tika was still dry standing on the ice a little bit away but she needed to get to safety too. Boss seemed to be biding her time until the best path was revealed.

"AAACHOOO!!!" His sneeze echoed in the strange room right before all of their cell phones went off. There was a chorus of buzzes, rings and blue lights from inside of their coats and pockets. Bix pulled out the phone and clicked around. He read out loud for his team since some of them were clearly busy not drowning or freezing to death.

"Everything other than us is a threat." He paused, his voice robotic in it's re-reading, "Defeat them at all costs. Watch out for anything hiding when you least expect it. Well s**t that sucks.." His head swung around as if there was something right behind him.

[She's gonna try E3->D3->D4->C4->C3->C2->B2->B1->A1!]

"I could use a punching bag right about now, actually," Was Ariane's swift reply as she took out her wet phone with a shivering hand, reading the message silently, since she assumed that everyone got the same text from the higher-ups; she would be more amazed at the fact that their phones were all working despite being dunked into freezing water if not for the fact that the text was making her both anxious and excited.

Mostly excited though.

There was the faintest sign of a rather creepy smile on her lips as she pocketed her phone, her mood visibly improved as she hopped across the ice, careful to not take a wrong step.

Before wasn't aware of how well he was doing. He was simply acting on instincts, which was to just keep moving forward after his teammates. Unfortunately, because he was following his teammates, the thin ice on B3 cracked underneath his weight. There was a loud SPLOOOOSH as Milton once again took the icy plunge.

When he broke through the surface of the water, he was back to where he started ;A; "I-I-I-I'm g-g-g-gonna n-n-n-n-need a h-h-hug after th-th-this..." his teeth chattered as he tried to wring himself damp (because no way was he able to wring himself dry). Thankfully, by this time, his teammates had forged a clear path. "B-Bix, G-G-Gale, you guys rock!!!" he cheered, spying Ariane as she too went along the path. He cheered both his female teammates on just as their phones vibrated. After a quick check and bugging his eyes out, Before made another attempt to the other side OAO!!!!!

All were safe on the other side. Well. Almost. Tikaanis hit the edge, but, half her body slipped into the water, still freezing her well enough and taking 1 HP. But the ordeal was over, the door was before them, and they were free to move on.

Maybe it was the sneeze that drew her attention - it was certainly an odd sound and the boo being somewhat of a curious sort and not having much of anything else to do at the moment simply couldn't help but pop in to investigate, appearing through the very door one of them seemed to be regarding. Ah..a room of those strange two legged things which had been meandering about outside the house.

Perhaps one of them had made the strange noise, squinting her odd little eyes Sancka floated towards the one closest to her, he seemed to be speaking to the rest of the team and curious but without having any knowledge of social boundries (and it was doubtful she'd really care about them if she did) the boo floated straight up towards Bix's face.
