Team Luminous Flux

This was it. The day that she had been dreading since she had signed those papers had arrived. Training camp..If it was anything like Red's gym classes, then she was afraid. Red being the sadistic mistress had probably thought up all kinds of things for this training. Well, it was no use moaning about it now. Now, she needed to join up with her team.

It took seconds for her to pick out each team member, as they were near impossible to miss. Each had a matching uniform with colours most suited to their tastes--and glowed..Now, would that be a good or bad thing when it came down to the training? Shrugging it off, Mei weaved through the crowd of students and arrived before her group, carrying her bag over one shoulder. Ah..this was when she did not envy others who needed the necessities of hair and skin products for hygiene, or even food for that matter. Mei's pack was light, only with a few things she considered useful.

"Well, this is going to be interesting. I think.."

Waving to the ghouls, she reared her head back to scout out the boil who was to be joining them. He was still fairly new in her books, and she didn't know much about him, but she was happy to have him along. Locating Mortimer as he made his way over, she gestured a small wave and smile. "You guys nervous at all?"

TEAM SKULLKER

Gabrian hadn't been too sure about signing up to the new fieldtrip, considering what had happened during the last two he'd been in. After a good while of thinking it over though, he'd decided to go through with it, mostly for two reasons; he didn't want to leave his friends alone and he didn't particularly like the idea of being left behind, unable to learn anything or get better. The nix didn't want to spend life wary of what could happen, since... well, that would mean he'd never actually do anything. As such, after talking with Ren and LW, he'd decided to join the trip.

The inspection from the gnomes expected but annoying - he vaguely recalled what had happened during the christmas trip, where students had smuggled in all kinds of objects. He figured the staff learned fast from such mistakes, though granted, he would have loved to bring Davy along for the 'ride', if only because keeping his Floresce minipet near made him feel better somehow.

By the time Ren reached the portal and stepped inside, the demon vaguely wondered why it was they were using such an obviously... expensive means of transportation when in the past they'd used trains (that crashed) and boats (that had a tendency to sink). Alas, there was little time to think things through; it was soon enough his time to pass the portal and the nix found himself landing almost immediately in a vaguely recognizable place. Or rather, vaguely recognizable world; the last time he'd visited the human world, he'd been stuck in his serpent form and Ren had carried him all the way.

"Brings back memories, doesn't it?" granted, he shuddered slightly as he spoke, recalling the metallic boxed they'd had to face to get back home. As Ren mentioned the pills, Gabrian nodded, waiting for the gryphon to come back. He stayed near Jove, and it wasn't till the blonde boil returned that he spoke, almost seemingly out of the blue, "She'll be alright," he paused and tilted his head, "You keep looking around. I figure you're looking out for her; she'll be alright. Puppy's quite strong."

The Magic Busters

If there had been a rock readily available to die under, Taryn would have taken it. Not only had she drawn stares and apparently startled one of her own teammates. This wasn't starting off well at all. She turned to see a girl she had only seen twice fleetingly, once at prom and once denying her and Danny in class, and she looked much more intimidating than either herself of Johan in their tan-colored jumpsuits. Oh well. Some ghouls had it, and some ghouls didn't.

The chimera ghoul let her hair fall around her face as she mumbled a soft, shy and humiliated, "I'm fine."

Team Ninjar

While everyone else seemed somewhat okay with being inspected by gnomes, Junko was not. It took a lot for her to dislike someone, but it seemed these gnomes had earned her undying grudge. She reluctantly let them go through her bag, but when one of them tried to give her a pat down to make sure she wasn't trying to smuggle anything in her skin tight suit. She swatted them away with an irritated sigh, pleading for a Bogeyman to let her through instead of a gnome. Junko knew what not to bring! It was common sense! She felt better once she was on the other side, however. "Whoa..." Was all she could manage to get out, walking up behind Seiji and finding one of his hands to hold it and link their fingers together. It was so beautiful! It was so different from when they had come here before and had to dodge those strange things! Look at the colors! Was that an owl? Oh wow! Stars! The human world had stars!

"It's so beautiful.." She said quietly, eyes wide. Why had Seiji been so worried?! This place was amazing! It was so gorgeous! Look at that sky! LOOK AT IT! It was so red and pretty and it was just like home! Her attention was drawn away from their surroundings by the sight of the..um...house? And the trio currently standing in front of it. Red she recognized, but the other two were a mystery to her. For now she would call them Eggplant and Snowflake. She squeezed Seiji's hand and looked around for Mai, Vaith and Aurian to make sure they got through the portal okay. Their personal strengths and weaknesses, huh? A wary look was given toward her hair. Weaknesses...was her hair going to be cut again?

A look was given to the pumpkin pills in Seiji's hand, putting her cheek against his arm and shrugging. "Might be best if we pass them around, just in case one of us is indisposed and can't toss up a pill, you know? Back when we went to Christmas Town we only got two of these...but we each had two of our own. This will be interesting." She paused a moment. Wait...what if someone dissipated while holding a pumpkin pill?

Junko raised a hand to get Red's attention. "If someone holding any pumpkins seeds..dissipates...what happens to the seeds?" It was kind of important to know, right? Not many others were asking questions...

TEAM MAFIA

Amrita looked apologetic that she had scared him, but she didn't voice it; she was too busy getting their group together! As the pumpkin pills were discussed, the Vetala could only nod.

"Yeah...last time we had one or two per scareling..." Reversed hands fidgeted, not liking the idea of having five people to split three pills. That seemed...very unfair. More than that, it made the promise she made to Roch all the most plausible. Abandoning her team mates with Xiu wasn't something she wanted to do!

"Maybe we should split them up, just in case we get separated." It might be easier to find one of three people with a pill instead of one with all three. "I don't know how to split them, though..." No matter how she tried to think about it, nothing seemed fair; then again, she didn't have much faith in her thoughts anyway. Too used to having a rotting brain to be otherwise.

"I've been on a couple! Th-they w-were...uuhm..." There was fire, lots of fire, or there was water, lots of water. The latter wasn't as bad as for former but it wasn't favourable. Oh but wait, she probably shouldn't tell them just how bad it really was! She flailed her hands in front of her, trying her best to grin as though it were nothing. "They'reveryscaryBUTI'MSUREWE'LLBEFINE!"

It wasn't going well.

Team Awesome

"Save my energy? Good idea. It's be a waste if we all got too excited now before the real danger creeps up. I mean really, just imagine trying to fight and train while fatigued? Not me! That's why I had three coffees. Well, no, I had three coffees because I couldn't sleep last night. was out of tea. It helps me sleep. I couldn't though, so I had coffee instead today and now I'm feeling better than ever. However, I find that I'm usually quite immune to the effects, and that's why I had three cups, because quite often I find if I drink too much I get immune and--"

Mot kept talking. And talking. And talking. While rocking back and forth from heel to toe.

Team Ninja

Like Junko, Aurian wasn't sure what she could possibly be hiding in the tight costumes that Mai had provided them. Unlike Junko, she wasn't willing to break some kind of unspoken rule and just let the gnomes do their job. Even if her skin crawled and her body shook in place like it was about to turn back into a quivering shadow at any moment.

When the inspection was done, she darted forward after Junko and Seiji. Stumbling out the other side of the portal, Aurian pressed one hand to her stomach. "That was... weird," she said. Better than a boat by far, but still a little unsettling. Maybe she shouldn't have had those extra spider-chip cookies this morning. She'd just been worried about wasting them, since they wouldn't be any good by the time they returned from the trip.

The pumpkin pills were passed out and Aurian listened intently. She hadn't survived the train crash on the Christmas Town trip that Junko mentioned, so she wasn't familiar with the tablets. Junko suggested splitting them up. "That sounds wise," she agreed tentatively. "I hope we aren't separated, and I don't want anyone to be indisposed, but I guess it's better to be prepared."

TEAM MAFIA

"....So basically they are expecting us to go into training grounds, get hurt, and yet provide us with barely enough pills to even heal said injuries." Oh this was lovely. Every warning bell inside his skull was firing off in tandem, telling him to do one thing: Run.

He quite honestly did not know any of his teammates... and did not really feel SUPER obligated to them. At the same time he did though. He did say, even if halfway asleep, he would go with them... but he did not realize this was some sort of training camp.

"This is a first for me too." Which might seem odd, for him being a second year... if any weird looks came his way he would merely shrug his shoulders. Rocking back and forth on his shoes, he looked down at his teammates curiously. "I think it would mean better odds to keep the pills separate too. What if the one holding them all went missing or...something." He blinked his eyes at that thought, Gah what was IN that house of horrors?

"...Rock paper scissors em around?" Oh yes remi was amazing with the suggestions... no, not really.
