"Why!? WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DIE!?" A sobbing cry erupted from the hall in a rather familiar voice "...AGAIN! She'd only revealed it to be the result of a failed Destiny Bond last month!" Rook cried out as he entered the classroom. Obviously he was talking about the Soap Riku had witnessed him viewing earlier.
Well, he had claimed to be watching his shows with Barney...whoever that was.
"Oh...you're back...wait where did you get a Totodile?" Rook asked, almost immediately losing his TV induced sorrow. How gave her a questioning glance...not that she could actually see his eyes through the slit of that visor.
"Did you find the Chrono Stone? Catch any other Pokemon I should know about?" The Professor asked in quick succession, sitting down behind his desk. If he wasn't such an odd man, he'd probably appear a rather dark and intimidating figure.

The girl pulled the Chrono stone out of her pack and then made her way to the Professor's desk. Placing the stone there, she then stood back, releasing both Sir Aiden and Jin."Yes, Professor. She caught the stone that the Professor tossed back, wondering why he was giving it back.
Yoshi flashed a grin at the Professor before quacking once. He then turned his attention to the Numel on the ground and grinned. Once again the small fire pokemon had lost and he had won. Oh how interesting this was.
Upon Sir Aiden's release, he had been expecting some kind of enemy or something. The Growlithe's fur on his back was bristling, fangs bared ready for action. The last time he had been released was when he had to fight the Regigigas. It had take a lot of pokemon to take that Legendary down. But upon scanning the area, he realized there were no enemies here. A strange man looking at them though. He sat down, wondering why he had been released at all.
Ryuu was surprised the man didn't comment on the strangeness of their team. They did make a weird combination though the Totodile was a good way to counter their weakness.
The small camel pokemon let out an enraged snort when he saw the Totodile up on the girl's head. He wanted to knock the pokemon off her head and keep it off there. But alas it was too high up for the pokemon to reach. Someday...someday..

"Fire-Types..." Rook half-muttered, the man noticeably balked as he looked at the Growlithe and Numel. Well it was understandable wasn't it? She had seen him with a Bisharp twice before! Not to mention the other steely Pokemon bound to pass through the classroom door one day.
No no. The man shook his head. She'd done well. It was quite a feat to capture three Pokemon on the island...especially when he'd only given her...
The Professor blinked abruptly, though again it was a hardly noticeable gesture. Riku would only see it as his mask going completely dark before the white slits that were his eyes returned. "Didn't I only give you two Pokeballs before your latest departure?" He asked, gesturing to the number of Pokemon. Again however, he shook his head "I suppose it doesn't matter, probably jacked them from a stiff...not like a corpse needs items anyway."
Rook rolled the gleaming teal stone around in the palm of his right hand for a moment, inspecting it faintly "I suppose you're ready for the next step then" He lobbed the Stone back to Riku "Are you ready?"

The girl returned Jin back to his pokeball and this time managed to get Yoshi back into his. There wasn't time right now for the both of them to bickering amongst themselves. The girl knew she couldn't tell the Professor what had really happened so she just kept quiet for a second while he came to his own conclusion. It was probably possible to find a pokeball on the island. Besides if she had told him the truth, he probably would've thought she was crazy. "Yes, Professor. We're ready. The girl was eager for her next mission, because she needed to be a lot stronger before she met the other students of the other classes again. They were strong already and she had been weak in comparison. No, she had a lot of training ahead. She caught the stone the Professor tossed back at her, wondering why he had given it back.
Sir Aiden's ears perked up at the sound of knowing what they were going to have to do next. It was true, after seeing the other pokemon he knew he had to become stronger. He had held his own against the others showing he wasn't weak but he still needed to be much stronger.
Ryuu was almost interested in what their next mission would be. He was ready for all the experiences that would make him stronger. They had a nice break on the land they owned but it was time to straighten down and get back to business.

Rook nodded "Very well...then I suppose I'll need to begin with a brief history lesson...most of which we've kept hidden from the public. It is the history of the Organization...of Team Rocket" The Professor declared. Yes, it would seem that for once he was going to give something actually resembling an actual lesson. A history lesson no less.
"As you know the Organization controls most of the world...or at least we used to..." Rook folded his hands together in the air "...but that is hardly the point. Centuries ago, when the Organization was originally founded there wasn't even this much control. Team Rocket was considered no more then lowly thieves, kidnappers, and terrorists. They were led by a man known as Giovanni, a then Gym Leader with much...grander aspirations" The Professor gave a somewhat grandiose gesture to try and illustrate his point.
"Now, you might imagine world domination to be a rather costly endeavour...to that end, Giovanni created a number of legitimate side-businesses to fund the Organizations endeavours..." Moving his hand again, the Professor would click a remote, the black board behind him turning into a television screen and revealing a lush green island "...one such business still exists, and it is still very much under our control...though we like to keep that fact a secret from the general public. Best they don't know all the places our money comes from, yes?" Rook tilted his head slightly, then clicked a button.
The image would suddenly split, revealing a number of pictures which seemed to be taken in some sort of carnival or theme-park. "PokeLand is more then several centuries old, it's almost as old as Team Rocket itself, and to this day it stands as a major tourist attraction. The Park itself is located on the Isle of Giant Pokemon...aptly named, I assure you..." He clicked the remote again, the images suddenly swapping to Pokemon which stood several stories tall. A Pikachu which crashed through trees as if walking through tall grass, a Gloom which stood as tall as a roller coast, and a Blastoise standing level with a small mountain.
"The Pokemon are mechanical of course, but it draws in the crowds" Rook explained, clicking through the images to reveal a large number of the creatures "As of late however, we've been experiencing some...problems with these colossal Pokemon. They've been...malfunctioning...rampaging actually..." Again the Professor would click the remote, revealing multiple images of destruction; rides in pieces, the landscape torn to bits "Can you guess what your mission will be?"

The girl listened to Professor Rook, her eyes curious. The lesson had indeed been interesting and some of it was stuff she really hadn't known. A lot of things about Team Rocket were mostly spoken in whispers and the girl just knew it was the best team to be on. They had power, wealth and everything basically. This academy was well known, though it was slightly hard to get in. Staying alive and continuing in the academy could be rough too. The girl looked at the images and then when he asked her a question, she answered with what had first popped into her mind. "Figure out what is causing the problem and then get rid of it. The girl remarked. This was going to be interesting, it wasn't the first time she had heard of PokeLand but it was the first time she was actually going to be there to see it.
Sir Aiden's looked curious as he looked at the park. Those were giant pokemon and they were expected to face them?! Then the man said that they were just mechanical. Phew, that was a relief. Well this adventure was going to be interesting. He wondered what was causing the problem anyway. Maybe a ghost type? Several pokemon? Whatever the case, they were ready to stop whatever it was!

"Nope!" Rook would declare, tilting his chair back rather swiftly and propping his feet up on his desk "Leave all that brainy crap for the Researchers and Tactics Class!" The Professor then proceeded to stretch, placing his arms behind his head "We do our job so the other teams can do their's kid. We're the Shields of the Organization" He stated rather simply "You're mission is to go their, report to the head mechanic, and do whatever it is they ask you to. They already know what the problem is probably, but they don't have the man..." Rook stopped briefly, tilting his head at Riku a moment "...girl power to fix it."
"PokeLand's got a dock set up a few miles from the Academy, one of many. You can catch a Tour Boat there, then you just have to find the maintenance garage" Following these words, Rook would reach into his jacket pocket and hand Riku a ticket "You'll need this to get on the ferry."

Okay, so she was going to do whatever the head mechanic wanted her to do? Well she wondered what exactly that might be. Yes, she knew that she was part of the Shield class but her pokemon weren't exactly strong enough to act like shields yet. Actually none of them weren't really strong enough to do much except try to become stronger. Oh well, time to worry about things later. She then glanced at her Professor after taking the ticket."Anything else? she asked, wondering if there was anything else she needed to know before leaving.
Sir Aiden looked a little disappointed. He also wondered what the mechanics would have them do. After all, he was up for a challenge. What didn't kill you made you stronger right?

Riku's answer would come in the form of less then subtle snoring. Aside from spontaneous and wild entrances, it would seem Professor Rook was capable of falling asleep at the drop of a hat.

The girl had looked at her Professor for a couple of seconds before realizing he was asleep. Well he had told her everything necessary for the mission so now it was time to go. The girl then grinned before starting to walk as quietly out of the classroom as she could. The Professor might've spent too much time with that Barney guy watching dramas. It wasn't her business so she just went to go look for the docks. It shouldn't be too hard to find.
Sir Aiden padded after the girl. Well time to see what exactly they needed to do to succeed the newest mission. There were probably going to be plenty of battles and other ways to gain strength and the Growlithe was excited for it all to begin. Though he wasn't going to be too happy riding on a boat. Maybe he should find a way to make the girl return him to his pokeball if she didn't think of doing that anytime soon.

Mei arrived at the front door, and beyond that door was the Professor. She looked at Ami nervously. "I-I don't know if I'm ready to meet the Professor yet.. but if I keep putting myself down, I'll never be able to get far with this attitude of mine..."
"Okay, I'm going to turn the knob now." She said softly. The knob turned slowly, but surely, and Mei entered the room. As she looked around, she saw a person sleeping. Mei slipped into a seat quietly. She was taught that waking someone up when they are sleeping is rude. And with that in mind, she just sat in a chair, with Ami laying on her lap.
The atmosphere was quiet, and Mei decided to sing a song that would make the time pass by. This song was precious to her, as it was a song that her Mom would sing to her every night... "Moon River, wider than a mile, I'm crossing you in style... some day. Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker, wherever you're going I'm going your way..." She sang softly. "Mhmm mhm."

Mei would quickly find however that the one that sat upon the char was not the Professor, nor even a man for that matter. It wasn't even alive. It was a coat rack propped against the chair, a black coat pulled tight around it along with a wig and an extra mask. The child would have to learn, as many others had, it was best to never assuming ones eyes were correct with the Professor.
Rarely did he remain doing what the last student had seen for very long.
Instead there would be a loud bang from the back of the classroom, sparks striking the floor as spinning fireworks went off. Holding sparklers in each hand, a man dressed all in black would rise from the floor in a fashion not entirely apparent, It was one of Professor Rook's most dramatic entrances yet!...and Mei would be looking the wrong way the entire time, oblivious to it by virtue of her own singing...
The Professor would slump slightly "Oh come on! It took forever to have someone else set this up!" He complained, speaking mostly to himself. He grumbled slightly, another entrance slightly ruined...

It would seem that the bang from behind her... came out to be a man? Mei laughed at his words. "Hello sir, I'm Mei... and this is my pokemon Ami." "You seem like a funny guy." She said, before putting her hand out.
She stood up from her seat and walked over towards him. "You made quite a mess... Anyway, I am here to meet my Professor!"

In that one sentence would abruptly cringe, grasping at the left side of his chest as he tumbled over backwards with a resounding crash. A number of desks would hit the ground, several of them hitting the black clad man instead.
[MEI USED EGO SHOT! IT'S SUPER-EFFECTIVE!]
After a moment, a grown would come from beneath the desks, followed by a single arm reaching out from down below "I'm okay!" The man's voice would call out, though he certainly didn't sound particularly okay.
Pulling himself out after a minute of struggling, he would slump slightly over and wander to the front of the room "...and I am your Professor" He sighed without even looking at the girl. With an ego as big as his, not recognizing him as the Professor was one of the heaviest blows the girl could have performed. What did she think he was before then!?
dropping himself into his revolving chair, he'd turn toward Mei from behind the desk "I am Professor Rook VonTrune, and I'll be your instructor during your stay in this class."

Mei tilted her head to one side in confusion. This guy was her professor? Instead of formally introducing himself to her, he decided to try and surprise her with a dramatic entrance... he certainly was different from the image she had expected to be as her Professor.
Mei blinked surprisingly. "Oh... I am so sorry. I thought you were an assistant..."
She put a hand behind her head and started to rub it nervously. With a quick cough she said,"I mean, it's nice to meet you Professor Rook. I do have one quick question... what am I going to be doing here?"
