Bast received a note of communication from Zyonu. The piece of paper was small and tattered and the handwriting was rough. The woman read it over once quickly and then disappeared from the area, leaving nary a trace.

The seven-tailed beast zipped into the area and perched at the top of the clock tower for a few seconds to get its bearings. At its last notice, the Gate was in the direction of where a city now stood. During its brief stop, it shortened the distance over which its wings vibrated, and as a result of this action a loud buzzing echoed through the area. The buzzing would disrupt the air waves enough to nullify Fuuton techniques under B-Rank and interfere with all manner of gaseous attacks.
If the demon were allowed to lift off again, it would fade out to the green-black color of the Void's background 'sky' and shoot off toward the city. Strangely enough, a reddish-black mass of Chakra was already there and moving slowly. It was relaxed, or at least seemed to be. What trouble lay in wait for the people there? Only the Suna-nin could determine that.

James Cameron Poe King of The Frozen SandJames was hot on the trail of the giant bug, his immense speed allowing him to keep up with the beast. Seeing the giant mass land on the clocktower. James was in the clear, he had line of sight, and the target was open. James moved with all the speed and reflexes that the greatest ninjutsu masters had ever achieved, James left palm would turn off the front of his Valkyrie and send a wind blast at the bug. The blast would hit around mach 2, and with James sharp accuracy and trained control he would aim it over the top of the clock tower to hit the beast and not the building. Faster than all but the greatest trained eyes would follow two shots from his Valkyrie would crack into the air. The wind had been only a distraction to make the beast commit to a direction. The killers were the Valkyrie shots, that would travel at roughly 3,300 miles per hour and were again guided my the excelling fine motor controls and advanced reflexes that James would show in his armored state. Appearing out of the ground, and immedeatly performing hand seals, the seasoned konin was instantly lifted by a massive dragon comming out of the ground below him, acting as an elevator for him to get even at the top of the clock tower. He was still a distance away from it, allowing the blasts of wind from James stay clear of him, and used his own jutsu in coordination with those same wind blasts. Taking a deep inhale of air, the konin spit a vast amount of mud from his mouth, getting caught up in the extreme speed and power of the wind to make it the distance to the large bug. The mud would then harden, hopefully on its wings, making flying and movement difficult.
Along side this, San 's particle technique was still working, and capable of a great many things if the beast were to take off, aside from the giant land dragon he had just formedif the beast tried to take off again, the dragon would launch a massive boulder from its mouth, aiming to knock it out of the air at its most crucial and weakest point: take off.

Manfread arrived at the clock tower just in time to see a giant dragon engage the demon bug. Skidding to a stop he jumped to the ground and extended his vision, looking for any unevacuated citizens he would swiftly move them to a safer location. Not wanting to get caught in the cross fire of a dragon...... again....

Al had been dragged after the bug from the compound. Just as he gave a sigh of relief, seeing it head for the tower where he could safely disembark... a kunai, trailing a length of wire, whistled past him. He slowly followed the wire up... then down, as the kunai securing him now dangled below. Quietly plummeting, he had a hare-brained idea. Just before he hit the ground, he released a Gale Surge. Already overpowered from the strength of the Void, coupled with his Wind Cape it was enough to slow his descent... mostly. "Ow..." he moaned, dragging himself up off of the ground. Seeing the other approaching Nin, he began to hop his way over too them, cursing at his lack of a way to communicate with them. He was no good doing random things on his own... a fact he'd forgotten earlier because of his short temper and protectiveness of any of his village's Shinobi.

James certainly did seem to be hot on the bug's trail, which ironic because of his frozen armor. It was fine, though; nothing would be very hot for long.
First came the Extreme Decapitating Airwaves, which lost some cohesion due to the Void and, to a small degree, because of the insect's vibrating wings. The blast hit, but since it was not as focused as it otherwise would have been, it only knocked the creature over. The shots from the Valkyrie whizzed past overhead and went out into the dark ether harmlessly. San's mud hardened on the creature's wings, just as planned.
As soon as the beast found itself in its stick situation, it dispelled a great amount of Chakra. A second or so later, a powerful wintry wind pushed downward on the Suna-nin. The area chilled rapidly, falling to 85 degrees Celcius below zero, or just a few degrees colder than the King of the Frozen Sand's armor. Windows would shatter; buildings would groan and a few would collapse; the earthen dragon would solidify and pop like a balloon, raining down earth on those below; water vapor would disappear from the air; frostbite would occur and spread very rapidly; movement would become difficult and painful; and metal would crack and become extremely brittle. In addition, the snap would destroy the hardened mud on the bug, hopefully allowing it to flee.

San, noticing the quick chilling in the air, pulled in all the iron sand that he could to form a suit around him to keep in as much as heat as he could for the moment. Hopefully this technique would not last long, as he then began to fall to the ground. Due to height however, he had a moment before he would hit the ground. leaving a few feet for him to perform hand seals, the ninja used his seasoned figners to mold them quickly, throwing his chakra into the sky. The sky would be lit with electricity, causing massive lightning to occur at the rear of the giant bug, hopefully letting it know that that way was a bad decision to go. if it just wanted to escape, why go through all that junk.
Manipulating the storm slightly, San aimed to move the bug to the wave gate were a proper snare could be set up to catch and seal the thing before it could escape to the real world....and beloved suna.
"James, help me lead the bug to the wave gate. Here is where the trap will be set. mamoru...can you have the binds and seal's ready when we get there...if not...ill resort to plan b....."

Al gasped at the huge drain of heat. He suddenly could barely see a foot infront of himself, like being in a thick fog. His constant output of heating chakra was the only thing keeping him from turning into an Al-sicle. Following to where he had last seen San, he eventually landed next to him, shivering and growling. "I-i-i've c-cooled o-off, s-sir..." he said darkly, teeth chattering. "Anything I c-can d-d-do?"

Manfread shivered as everything got very cold..... very very cold. Joints freezing up his movements became slow and hindered, and he was turning into a Manny-sicle. Ice crystals were forming on his nose and limbs as he folded his arms and rushed over to the others. Trying to keep himself moving Manfread did everything he could to stay warm.
“You can start by cranking up the heat,” Manfread said as he approached Al and the others with a large snot ball hanging from his nose. Trying to Sniff it up the snot ball froze solid and broke off breaking on the ground, he looked at it for a second. Spying his one true weakness Manfread suddenly had an idea, building chakra and forming a few handseals he launched a Great fire ball[ Katon Goukakyuu no jutsu] at a stall filled with mushrooms and set the whole thing ablaze, shuffling over the burning rubble he rubbed his hands together and tried to warm up.
“Collateral damage....” he said to the others trying to soak up as much heat before the fire died out.

Walking into the area and seeing the others and the beast Lucas shifted into cover to hopefully be able to avoid detection from the beast. Lucas also activated his douka enhancement to alter his core temperature as he was still assimilated with steel so that his body would not crack or become more brittle due to the cold. he waited and watched for when he could move to a more advantageous position as where he was he was unable to make a move without being noticed.

James Cameron PoeKing of The Frozen SandJames felt the area drop rapidly, and worried for the others, but they seemed to be handling it all in there own way. James kept up his assault on the beast. Moving to have the shots come from the opposite direction of the Wave Gate, James ripped off another two shots from his Valkyrie and aimed to go over the beast. KoFS-3/10 Valkyrie-5/32 shot

The demon followed the directions given to it by San and James, since it was going to the Wave Gate anyways. It just so happened that the Wave Gate was on the other side of the city. It zipped off and faded to the color of the background of the Void, disappearing from sight.
Cold would continue to permeate the area for a long time as the ground and buildings warmed up. If they hung around too long, the Suna-nin would get frostbite.

Al sighed. "Here..." he muttered darkly, before leaping over and picking him up in his arms. The icicles would melt near instantly and his joints would unfreeze, slightly painfully, as he went from -86 degrees to exactly a hundred. "Oops..." Al said, sweatdropping at a particularly loud creak. "Well, feeling warm now?" he asked, before telling San "Lead the way" he would follow after San, carrying Manny until they were out of the chill zone.

San, using his iron sand "iron maiden" cover for warmth allowed a single hand to appear, producing a thumbs up to show Al that he did a good job helping manny. It was good to see the little ones helping each other, especially with their on special gifts no doubt. Using his kagura shingan, the konin found a large chakra source and decided it was bast to head out over that way. Moving his iron sand hand, the ninja pointed the way.....
