"As if I need you to tell me that!" It wasn't as if she'd expected to trip and fall, or something, especially not on him. Picking herself up hastily, she hopped back a step, away from the mess, and contemplated stretching out a hand to help him up, but decided he didn't really need it.
He was still yelling at her, which meant he was clearly fine. The smile had disappeared from her face by now, replaced with a scowl; she'd won the race! Granted, it was by luck (and his own misfortune), but it was a victory, and...
A rather empty one, she supposed.
Shivering from the cold, she pulled off her wet jacket and folded it up, which helped a little; her skin was still damp, though, and the air-conditioning at the arcade only made it worse. Perhaps she'd head back off to school, considering her lack of pumpkin seeds anyway, but if he wanted to be beaten that badly...
"Rematch," she said, trying the best she could to look intimidating, while still shivering. "You pick the date and time."

Vee was the only one a bit uncomfortable here. Getting off of his seat, Jericho stared at the wet mess the pop had caused. Damn scareling. Why'd she have to do that? Oh well.
"Tomorrow," he said firmly. This was going to bother him for a bit, "And at my room in the monster dorms. No jacking scareling will be able to wander by and spill crud over us there."
He paused to think about what time it should be at.
"It'll be at 3pm."

She stared at him for a while.
He had.. a machine in his room? But he still came over to the arcade to spend silver seeds? What was... wrong with..
Did he have that much money to spend? Vee's eyes gleamed, as she nodded. His room was probably where he kept all the treasure. "It's a deal- I'll go look for you tomorrow, then."
Perhaps she'd get something more out of it, though she didn't have her hopes up. In Jericho's room, it was likely she'd be completely at his mercy. Best to behave for a while. Waving goodbye to him, she headed out of the arcade, and into the warm sun- already, she felt lots better.
So.. the rematch tomorrow. Vieve figured she'd better prepare, somehow.
