Lmao, I know, it's horrible, but at least they didn't actually translate the names. I.E. "Naruto" turned into "Fishcake", "Iruka" into "Dolphin", ect. My friend and I had the biddest joke about that. Just saying lines and replacing names. "Cherry blossom (Sakura), you're annoying..." "Weasel (Itachi).....I will kill you!" Then there were just some weird ones. "Demon who loves only himself (Gaara)", "Sound of swords clashing (Kin) " That was a mouthful. And our favorite joke of all time: "It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's DEER-MAN!! (Shikamaru)" My friend even did a ShikaTema doodle, of Shikamaru in a deer suit, holding a ball of yarn (Temari) and he was just like, "Wtf?"

Darkness in Zero I know, they screwed everything up!!! At least they didn't americanize it so much that: 1. Naruto became Ned 2. Sasuke became Sid 3:Gaara became George eek Good god. If they did that, I would shoot the dubbing company. It's VIZ right?

and Seriously There is no Shikamaru without "Troublesome" what if they changed "Troublesome women" to "Women are a drag?" THAT'S NOT RIGHT I SAY SUE 'EM, SUE 'EM!!!

Jupiterkitsune I agree with the Shikamaru not saying 'how troublesome' or 'this is tedious' [I am indebted to him for giving me my attitude], also they spell & pronounce everything wrong! Example ~ it's pronouced 'Uchi wa', not 'Uchi ha.' And they cut out all swearing! That's not good! +_+ i thought that was all about the whole japanese kanji...

Gaako WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLD IT!the only way we could be certain if people were correct on how they were said is if we SPOKE japanese... i'm that someone such as i dont know... VIZ would have fifty thousand translators working for themm...? MEH. and the television company took out all sware words because of the EFFING EFF SEE SEE!!! i hate the F.C.C. BELIEVE IT SUCKS ASS! I F UCKING HATE HOW THEY DID THAT!okay.. i think that i'm done with my rants... i'm talking about japanese to english translation....

hmmm, must have missed that....
As far as I remember, the japanese voice actors say, "Uchi ha" too....
although it's pronounced "Uchi-wa"

My cousin accutually wants to find the Vis company and "talk" to them about Naruto. But after hearing Gaara's voice in english she forgave them and had joy-gasms. sweatdrop

WHAT??!! What is so nice about gaara's voice in english?? The dub version is just ruining everything... even VIZ cut out some parts of the show just like the part in episode 6 or 7 where naruto cut his hand.
the english voice just doesn't suit them at all. Anyway, gaara's japanese voice sounds more evil...wakakaka
