New barrow mended, the hunchback stood to watch the dragon test his 'sack', rushing forward to scoop up whatever was left over. It would take a while to get back with all of this but... it would be worth it in the end, right? He glanced up, giving Jericho a thumbs-up as he tossed the last piece onto the pile. This had gone well, really. It could have gone a lot worse, anyway.
And Jericho even hadn't been distracted by anything shiny, he was proud.

Seeing Christof getting his wheelbarrow set up, Jericho nodded before taking flight. While he could just zoom back to the school, he just flew a little lazily. If the dogs decided to come back, he could quickly swoop down to scare them off once more. There wasn't much of a point in leaving the Igor behind and all. He sort of needed his help.
In any case, he had no qualms with a relatively easy going flight on a nice night anyway. Though, it would be better if Riley could joining him for it. Yes.

Christof sighed as he watched Jericho take off, his own tiny little useless wing pinned down under his coat fluttering jealously a moment before he huffed and hefted his barrow.
Just find the closest way to the fence, and cut a few hole if need be. And pray the dogs had all been chased off.
No sooner had he gone around a bend, the slobbering, snarling, and previously retreating creatures lifted their head to stare at him.
Hell's bells.
He quickly rolled around to hurry off the other way.

Hearing some snarling from down below, Jericho noticed that Christof was being harassed by the dogs once more. With a huff, he dove down, letting out a roar towards the hounds, aiming to scare them off.
Hopefully he didn't end up scaring the pants off of the igor too. It wouldn't really do him any good if the guy ended up passing out from fright!

Thankfully, the hunchback did not faint. He did, though, run for his unlife, a muffled wail of terror trailing behind him as he ran from the terrible sound.
He wasn't quite sure if the dragon was going for the dogs- he HOPED he was going for the dogs- but instinct was difficult to fight when faced by a horrible bellowing monster flying after you with jaws agape.
If the dog's earlier barking didn't wake the grounds keeper, that roar would. It was time to leave. Quickly. Out of his pocket came the wire cutters the moment his wheelbarrow hit the chain link fence and soon he was hobbling his way safely to the other side. Only then did he turn to look back.

Jericho tailed the dogs, snarling and chasing them away while Christof bolted off. Seeing how he was considerably more mobile, the dragon figured he'd keep the hounds busy until the Igor was clear of the junkyard. Though, hopefully the guy would be able to move quickly. He spotted a light turning on from across the lot. It was definitely time to get going.
Every now and then, he glanced back to where he last saw the hunchback to see how far along he had gotten. Once he was clear, he'd go on and fly off himself.

The hunchback gave the Dragon a wave and a thumbs-up from the other side of the fence. Sighing, he glanced on through the night. It was going to be a long hobble back to campus. And a long night of building. But hopefully it would all be worth it in the end.

Seeing the figure of the patchwork on the other side of the fence, Jericho cut chase and started to head back towards where Christof was. It was going to be a slow flight on his part, seeing how the other guy couldn't move too quickly, but it shouldn't be a problem. If anything, he was pretty damn stoked about all of this. They still had a lot of work to do to build this course, but he was sure it was going to be grand once completed.
