"Nope." Joshua answered, the glass not moving from his hands. "Been cheated on, through... But that was my fault." There was sadness when he spoke, but he didn't speak any more than that.
Alicia had been a sweet girl, sweet and gentle, but so easily hurt. That huge competition had been coming up, and he hadn't been giving her as much time as he should have had.
Still, seeing her in the arms of the team captain of Meadowview's team had hurt. He'd never treated her right. It hadn't lasted. She'd came back to him, but... The love he'd held for her had vanished.

Regina sat back, a slight pout forming on her lips as she held her bottle just a bit tighter. A rather childish action for a woman her age, yes, but the talk of relationships (something she'd never really been in) plus the lack of chances to drink now were rather disappointing. The whole point of this was to get properly toasted, right?
It was a clear sign that Regina Faith Hopewell needed to get out more... Provided she managed to live through being in space.

She'd never been in a relationship to have been cheated on or cheat on someone else. It was a plus in her eyes. She didn't have time for dealing with relationships either not with school and her hobbies and volunteering.

"YAWN, my god, can we stop whining and just drink more?" Veer widened his mouth and patted a hand over it in a mockery of a true yawn. It was obviously sarcastic, his eyes rolling as he did it, small glass set down on the floor in front of him.
He sat back, eyes flicking around the group. "Jesus, I was hoping for dirt, not a ******** therapy session.. Someone else ask a question before we all have to start singing 'Kumbaya' and holding hands."

"Can't say I've cheated or been cheated on so I gues I ain't drinking this round." He shrugged, it was better to not drink to that, being cheated on or cheating sucked. The drama that followed made fighting Youma look like a walk in the park to be honest.
"Aw c'mon don't be so pissy buddy." He pointed his finger towards Veer while holding his drink, pinky out of course. He paused for a moment glaring at Veer, "You want a story then ask a question the might get you one and can. Till then.."
He pointed at Veer's glass, "Never have I ever drank out of that glass you git."
He shrugged, "Now drink you bitter little thing and come up with a question that might get you a story if your so keen on one." d**k move, but it was a cheap way to force someone to drink in this situation. Yes, he played the game usually with the intent of trolling one person into drinking the most.

That was perfectly fine; Veer played this game with the intent of getting balls to the wind drunk. And it usually worked. he'd done enough things that anything people said he could drink to, as it got more creative. Maybe not the rated X stuff so much but...
Instead of looking chastened, he wooped, and downed his drink in one quick swallow, already going to refill his glass. Much, much better.

This was ridiculous. That was now two rounds and still no drink?
"Please someone come up with something decent." She didn't care about cheating, she was never in a relationship long enough to cheat on them in fact she didn't really do relationships any more that wasn't to say she didn't get off and sleep with people she just didn't do the emotional clingy bit. Made sense right?
How was she gonna get drunk when she wasn't able to drink? Seriously people pick the game up!

"It ain't cheating unless I lie and say I never did something I did do. And so because I never drank out of that glass it's completely fair." He shrugged casually ignoring his glass for this round. "Never been drunk enough to actually do that let alone see a dude who looked like a girl enough to make me even try that."

"Thats more like it!" Kes filled up her glass and downed it at once.
"You should all kiss a dude, ha we should do dares afterwards... alcohol and dares are always fun!" The alcohol was starting to take affect on Kestrel, it was probably quite obvious with the raise in volume and how chatty she was starting to become. She never really had much in the way of issues when it came to chatting but generally she would avoid talking unless the other person was worthy of her time. Once she had alcohol her tongue loosened up quite a bit and she rarely thought about what she was saying before she said it.

It wasn't precisely that Veer hid his drinking; he didn't look flustered or embarrassed, he just did it in a matter of fact way that people might miss out on until he was leaning forward to refill again, licking his lips and blinking a few times. The alcohol was starting to buzz in his system, made him slosh over the edge a little and he hissed, leaning forward immediately to rub it in with one palm -- and then swipe his hand against his pants as he leaned back.
Hopefully there was a laundry machine somewhere. Or better yet, fresh clothes, since Laundry Machine and Veer didn't usually go in the same sentence...

Dares? Dares sounded dangerous, Regina thought to herself as she quickly tossed back a swig from her bottle. She was starting to feel a bit floaty now; the good sort of floaty, where one didn't actually worry about anything beyond a passing thought. It was a good thing, all in all. It meant she was at least a bit more likely to leave her conspiracy theories behind... For now.

Joshua drank.
He didn't elaborate, and the look on his face was quite telling that he wouldn't.
One would have thought he'd have learned not to abuse alchool after that one.... But apparently not !
He was starting to show all the good signs as well, but damn. The world felt good right now.
"Free kissing for all the cute girls, through." He winked.

Lifting his shot Hephaistos rose up from the circle, "Well folks, it's been amusing, but I have... other things to do. You know fighting giant space squids." He took the shot with him glancing around the room. "For the record, a few of you might not want to get toooo sloshy." He moved to a shelf tapping a bottle then another.
"Be careful out here, monsters have been popping up, and I don't mean us magical people in fancy skirts and stuff." He selected a rather large and odd space bottle it seemed good. He also grabbed a bit of cloth lingering around the room as well, napkins what ever he could find.
"Avoid the Temple room, seriously. I can tell you one thing, Never have you ever fought a space monster and lived to tell." He took his shot, "I have, and I plan to kill it. Call this bit of stuff liquid courage." The warm booze rolling inside him warming his body and giving him a cocky sway to his step.
"Drink up mates, space is a strange place." And with that he was off to hunt what ever monster he was talking about.
