It felt as if someone had just flashed a camera in his face, and he blinked rapidly to clear out the spots. What the? The other group had vanished, being replaced by monsters, and he watched as one of them yelled and then attacked Aster.

That wasn't cool.

"Hey you," he said, throwing his best punch at Mal. "Pick on somebody else." Of course, considering that he wasn't that big, and the fact that his balance was completely off, it wasn't much of a punch, but whatever. He was trying to help.

"Ew! ******** man," Aster groaned. Normally he liked the feeling of an animal's tongue licking him - like a puppy licking his face, it was a cute sign of love - but in this case it was just purely disgusting. Not to mention there was a strange feeling that its tongue was effecting him in some way as he felt a bit less energized. Perhaps it was the pot brownies, but the feeling came as soon as the tongue hit his ankle.

Once the monster's tongue let go of him, he backed away only to be punched by a strange enemy formerly known as Mal.

"Hey, that's no cool, man," Aster said massing the impacted spot with his hand. He was as pacifistic as ever, but felt the enemy was invading his public space so gave (what he thought) was a light shove to Mal to push him away.

The shove was stronger than Aster thought. 3HP damage to Mal.

((HP: 17))

Lights flashing. It was not pleasant it the least. Plus something hit him. God damn space. s**t always ******** up in space. After getting hit by-
OH ********!" The monster that hit him was perhaps the ugliest thing ever. It offended his metrosexual sensibilities.
Reacting badly to the sight of what he had no idea was the Flora Monster, he saw another monster and punched it. Plus the other senshi punched it. It was good enough.

(5 to Mal)

Having been one to have avoided conflict throughout her life, Mal had never learned the cardinal rule of hitting things: things will hit you back. Like, all the things. The creatures swiftly retaliated to her light grazing of one of their ranks, swarming her before she even had a chance to go down fighting. She instead went out screaming, dread mixing with severe bruising as she found herself assaulted from all sides. She staggered back two steps before collapsing, the world reeling away into darkness as she slipped out of consciousness.

So much for machismo.

The flashing lights were a bit like a club and a strobe light to Circe. It was all so much fun really. Until the other half of her drugged companions disappeared and in their place were monstrous enemies.

“What’d you do with everyone!?” Circe yelled at the enemies. For all she really knew, they had stolen them away when she wasn’t looking. And the rotten beasts were beating up on a civilian. Better the civilian than her really, but still that was pretty underhanded.

In retaliation, the man-Circe moonwalked ‘his’ way over to the nearest enemy and finished the dance sequence by punching the monster Aster.

(( Thank you to everyone who has been RPing, I apologize for taking so long to get this up. ))

The beast looked upon Mal fainting with a good deal of amusement and delight. These little fleshy things were knocking the meals over left and right making its job so very, very easy! The delight was easy to see as the beast tried to slither over towards the unconscious young man. It was distracted again, however, by the continued battling. The flickering of its body and tail had been slowed in its pursuit of a good meal.

It almost looked like sometimes the others returned to normal. But then they were your enemies again. Everyone was starting to have a serious headache and they weren't sure they even knew which way was up now. What gender were they?

Someone, if they were looking properly, might see a sac of glowing blue at the base of those twin tails. Getting near would be tricky though.

Quote:
You are still enemies and are gender-changed.

However, it seems like it's wearing off. Do you go for the enemies you see near your separated friends or do you go for the monster? Maybe that blue sac has something to do with it?

Pollux was done. So done with this place. This place called space. Next time someone offered him a ride into space he wasn't going to just say no, he was going to say ******** no. Aw hell naw. Nope. No thanks. Space sucked donkey dicks.

Speaking of dicks, this monsters? King of them. The lights, the whatever it was doing. All of it was getting on his nerves and giving him a massive headache. So were the other monsters. Annoying as all ********. But Pollux wasn't go to deal with small fry anymore. He was going big. Mostly since he figured the big guy was the one most likely to kill them all. Still, he was a bit at a loss. The others were high, and thus to him, useless. Just like his newly formed tits. Sacks of meaty uselessness.

So Pollux did was about the only thing he thought he could do. Attempt to stop those ******** tails from waving around.

The civilian on her side had just been taken out by the monsters. It was rather perturbing and Flora could only hope that she was alright. With a quick glance at Circe, Flora crossed over to where Mal lay and placed a finger over her (his?) nose to make sure she (he?) was still breathing.

Yep. Still alive. Thank goodness. She made a mental note to move the civilian over to the Virgo Outpost later... after she managed to deal with this mess.

The pain in her head throbbed and the Senshi squinted at the lizard beast. It looked as though Pollux was near it, although sometimes she could have sworn that she saw a monster in his place again. Still, it was relief to know that he was around; he could handle his own on a fight with the smaller monsters. The bigger one though? Definitely a prime target. There was slight turmoil in her head as she remembered how angry it had gotten when she had attacked, but damn it, she just wanted this headache to stop!

(Also, she wanted her figure back, thank you very much!) She aimed a kick at its tails in frustration.

As the magic wore off, Aster stared in horror at the unconscious body of Mal. s**t. The one cool girl she had met in space and she was responsible for her harm. While Pollux and Flora focused on the creature, Aster sprinted over to Mal as quickly as she could.

"C'mon girl, wake up," Aster groaned as she shook the body lightly to try and wake her up. If that failed, she'd at least be there to protect the body from the monster.

Ian had no idea what was going on. One second the monsters were monsters, the next, they appeared to be the people he had just been eating brownies with. Which was real?

"This is giving me such a headache," he muttered, running his hand through his hair. It hadn't changed, thankfully enough.

He darted over to the lizard beast, kicking it's side. He knew that he was more likely to be flung by the tails than he would be to help restrain them, and perhaps this way he could distract the monster long enough for one of the others, who actually had useful magic powers, to do something.

Circe watched the mayhem as her head pounded with pain. Why was it so awful? This wasn’t any kind of hang-over or trip she was used to. Pausing from the fight for a second, the senshi rubbed her eyes.

When she opened them, she was even more confused. There was Flora, trying to fight the dragon-monster, and then there was the other monster-enemies that had done-away with the others; they were fighting the dragon-monster too.

The senshi shrugged, if everyone else was doing it, it must be the thing to do. “Molt Boost”, Circe upon her power to help protect her while fighting the monster. She tried to grab one of the swishing tails, hoping to hold the beast in place.

The power of Aster's concern was enough to rouse Mal from unconsciousness, spurring her into action and granting her the ability to single-handedly defeat the monster while riding a wave of totally good vibes.

Actually, no. It didn't. She was still knocked out colder than a hot coed at a frat party. She would probably have something clever to say about this if she hadn't just had her s**t kicked in.

((posting at Nessu's request!))

The more attention that was drawn to the swishing tails, the more they struggled. The creature didn't seem to appreciate having the blue sac on its body exposed, and so against the efforts of the group it tried to curl them back around it -- however, with one being attacked and the other being held back completely, it wasn't very successful. All that was needed was a free hand to strike at the part of the monster it was trying to shield!

Ian was small, he was impulsive, and most of all, didn't have any tails to be distracted by.

That was, on it's own, fairly dangerous, and when you added onto the fact that he could tell that the monster was trying to defend the weird blue glowy thing, it didn't exactly lead to the smartest ideas.

He stepped back, and then darted at the blue sack. Perhaps he wasn't the strongest, but he did know how to do a mean headbutt, and that was exactly what he did.
