"Pshaaaw!" Mot retorted back at Hel, grinning. "Whatever~." Totally not childish!
Ok maybe a litte.
Mot stood up once Hel was finished primping him up. He turned to face Hel, a hand exploring the looped ponytail on his head. "Interesting. How's it look?" He asked with a smirk. It wasn't as if ponytails were unheard of on men anyway. His father had a very long ponytail last he saw him too.

“Don’t you whatever me, scareling.” Hel further retorted.
The reaper stared up at the boil as he stood, and it was then she realized a few things. First, his hat was off, two, his hair was up, three, he was smirking, and uh…four…he looked uh…nice. Like really nice. Half of Hel blushed lightly (it was hard to tell a blush on the dark side of her, luckily). A hand quickly came up to cover that cheek as she offered him a suddenly tentative grin. “I…I think it looks…really good!” She jerked her other thumb towards the bathroom. “Go have a look?” She then moved past him to go and tend to her stew, taking the lid off and stirring it.
Geeze…why was she blushing? Weird.

Did.... did Hel just... Noooo Hel doesn't blush. That's silly. Hel was a warrior lass. Mot raised a brow, slowly turning and walking toward the bathroom to get a look at the job Hel had done on his hair. Curious~ curious.
Taking his first look at his hair tied back ever, Mot was surprised. At first it just looked weird. He wasn't used to it at all. He looked his hair over critically in the mirror, turning his head this way and that to get a look at all angles. Hm.. Not bad! He prefered his hat, but this was a different look. Not bad at all.
Mot emerged from the bathroom and gave Hel a thumbs up. "I like it~. Stew done yet?" He took a short sniff of the fragrant smell of stew in the air. "Smells good."

Hel focused on the stew now, and happily welcomed the shift in attention.
Ooh, it was almost done! This was good! It smelled good too! This one would probably turn out to be a pretty good batch and the reaper was looking forward to it. She stirred it a bit more before turning off the stove and taking it off of the burner, glancing back at the reaper with a small grin. “Most excellent!” It was certainly different, that was for sure, she glanced briefly at his hat on the counter before looking back at him.
“Thank you...Just about, friend! Ah…speaking of which…” The valkyrie put the spoon down and dug through some of her kitchen drawers before she pulled out a large plastic container. Mot’s little to-go care package! Hel picked the spoon back up and filled the container up to the brim before placing the lid on it and held it out to the cowboil. “Ta da!”

Aha! Mot was hoping the stew was for him. While he still did not eat often, he did enjoy Hel's stew, mostly because she put the effort into making it just for him. Mot smiled happily, his hands extending to take the offered care package. "Wonderful! Thank you, Hel." He looked down thoughtfully at the gift, rapping his fingers against the surface.
"Well then, I'd best get this back to my room." Mot nodded, holding the container with one hand so he could take list and pocket it, as well as his hat and place it firmly back onto his head. "Later, little lady~." He grinned widely, the taking his leave of Hel's room.

“You’re welcome!” The reaper chirped, placing her hands on her hips once Mot took the container from her. She noted with relief that he did pocket the list they worked on. “Aww, alright.” She murmured, giving him a hearty wave. “Take care, friend, I’ll see you around!” Hel watched him leave, and rubbed her cheek before shifting her attention back to the kitchen. Time to clean up!
As the reaper cleaned up the space and stashed the rest of the stew away, she reflected on the time and wondered if she had helped in anyway. Regardless, it was nice to see a friend back in better spirits.
