Laughing, Xiu picked up her half-finished cupcake to show that, while she appreciated the gesture, she was still on her first cupcake. "You go ahead, though! Why don't we pack the others away for you so that you can bring them back to your dorm with you?"
She trotted off in search of a container large enough to fit all the cupcakes, and finally--somehow--managed to find one that was the perfect size. One by one, she set them into the container, leaving one out in case Sheridan really wanted to eat another.
Overall? The baking had gone pretty well, she thought. A few hiccups, but nothing major.

Oh yes, Sheridan was indeed intending to eat that second cupcake. In fact he had already picked it up and paused only a moment before biting into it. Ah, the chocolate shavings had been a nice touch, delicious! It should be noted that he had not taken as big of a bite on this cupcake as he had the first, nor did he devour it quit so quickly. Hey, even Sheridan had limits to how much sugar he would scarf down at one time.
"You don't want to keep any?"
Not that he objected to taking the cupcakes, though he would have to think of where to hide them to keep his cat from eating them first. But he didn't want to hog them all, Xiu had helped him to bake them (or rather he had helped her as she had done most of the work), she should keep some too if she wanted them.

"Sheridan, I make cupcakes almost every week," She laughed, pushing the filled container over towards the dragon, "You take these and enjoy them! Share some with your minis, even, if they can have chocolate."
It was true though: considering how many sweets Xiu usually made, it was a wonder that she wasn't completely sick of them yet. Perhaps the baku just enjoyed sweet things too much. Whatever the case, these cupcakes--Sheridan's first batch of cupcakes ever--would go to the boil.
"Thank you for coming by," She chirped, smiling, "It was a lot of fun!"

Sheridan nodded, he could think of one cat in particular who would enjoy the cupcakes. The trick would be in keeping said cat of evil from stealing -all- the cupcakes, he'd have to make sure he hid them well.
"Thank you for teaching me!"
Oh yeah, that second cupcake? It was already gone, scarfed down not quite so quickly as the first, but scarfed nonetheless.

"No problem," Xiu laughed, "We should do it again sometime. Practice makes perfect!"
Only next time, she would make note to pay a lot more attention to ensure that no extra ingredients ended up in the batter. And yes, there would be a next time--if the baku could help it, Sheridan was going to become a very good cook and baker by the time this year was over.
